New York City - Spire Of Heroes - Head Branch of The American Hero Guild
A building tore through the clouds, proudly showing off what a true Skyscraper was. Its sleek spiral design eye-catching despite the few windows that could be seen every few floors. This was where the current leaders of the Hero Guild held the majority of their meetings concerning matters of the world.
Near the top of the building, a large window made of reinforced glass strong enough to withstand a diamond drill gave the office inside a brilliant view of the entirety of the city.
The extensive waterways that once in the past were streets with roaming masses, now only had sleek boats traveling about.
Large bridges connected all the buildings together allowing for quick access between buildings for those on foot and in turn saving time for the cruising boats down below.
It was impressive, like a modern Venice but it didn't change the fact that it was all due to the global warming the previous generations had brought upon the world.
The ice caps flooded the planet and the only reason wars did not occur was due to the decade of anarchy and the massive amounts of deaths it brought across the world. With only half of the population from the 2020s at only 3.5 billion, all the issues that global warming would have brought were negated entirely. It also helped that people with powers made producing food and clean water infinitely easier than ever before.
A woman who appeared in her early-30s stared out into the city, a pensive expression on her face as her goddess-like beauty reflected of the one-way window.
The room was simply adorned with an 8x4ft desk but full of enough paperwork to give any regular office worker an aneurysm, the piles sometimes stacking as high as 3 feet of substantial paperwork.
The rise of technomancers established that trusting computers even with your own technomancers was too dangerous to send anything of importance through the internet. Unfortunately for the woman, all she handled was sensitive information.
"Ma'am, the contracted Hunters we hired from the Autarky have come empty-handed, but they still are demanding their payment, how shall I proceed?" A handsome young man, with curls of gold, spoke to the woman, his posture straight and his voice filled with nothing but respect.
The woman continued to stare out the window before eventually pulling herself out of her in-depth study of the city.
"Pay the idiots, but make sure to blacklist them, we'll never work with them again. Additionally, send some Technomancers to try and dig up some dirt on them. If they think I'm not privy to the Autarky buying them out, they are much bigger fools than expected." The woman was swift her reply, sending out a command that could lead to the potential imprisonment of the Hunters if anything of note was found in their past. She had no patience or time to allow others to slight her.
"Of course Ma'am I will have all their information ready for you by the end of the day." The young man made a few scribbles on his tablet sending word of the woman's command to the lower offices.
"Since the Hunters turned out to be useless how are our men on the site performing with their own hunt." She had expected this so she was sure to send out a Black Team Unit to dig up whatever information they could.
"They have found nothing of importance, in fact, not even the specialized detectors are able to find our target. We have found multiple individuals who were close to waking, but their powers all ranged below Grade B-" The young man pressed a button on his watch, and a hologram appeared between the two showing a detailed list of information as well as the location of their site.
"Hmm, send out an additional Black Team Unit, we need to find this powered individual. Whatever abilities they possess must not fall into the hands of the Autarky, or Eden. The balance between the three of us has reached a brittle point, and though we have an SSS-Grade Hero in training, we can't be allowed to lose this additional potential.
Swiping her hand the hologram dissipated as the woman took a seat, preparing herself the for the rest of the paperwork she had to get done before she received more complaints from the other departments. A sigh left her as she thought about the minimal amount sleep she'd gotten this week.
"Also be a dear Johnathan, and get me a coffee, black as it can get as well." She needed the caffeine if she was going to make it through all this paperwork without falling asleep.
"Of course, Ma'am, I've already informed the dispatch team to prepare, and I'll have a cup of Esmeralda Gesha ready for you within two minutes." He made his way to the door before briefly turning around.
"Try not to push yourself too hard ma'am, don't forget you have a meeting with your daughter tomorrow." Johnathan bowed lightly as he left the room, off to brew one of the most delicious cups of coffee the world had to offer.
"That's right I have to go visit Evalyne at Camp Sparta, though I don't think if I'll have enough time besides a few minutes since the true reason of my meeting was to make a speech for all the promising talents." Not speaking to anyone particularly Susan Turner slouched in her chair dreading the meeting with her daughter.
She hated what she was going to have to tell her, as her thoughts turned to the sweet if the somewhat mischevious young man she saw like a second son.
"Oh, Lucas your Aunties going to have to become the wall between you and Eva. I hope you'll eventually forgive me."
The Head of the Heros Intelligence Division Susan Turner ignored her paperwork once again she returned her gaze to the city, her melancholy returning twice as strong as before.
Garden of Eden Point 210 - Code Named Scorched Lands - Mojave Desert
The barren blazing desert stretched as far as the eye could see, the warping of air creating a glimmer like Illusion on the horizon stopped only by the mountains to the south.
What was once a regular desert could now rival the heat of Death Valley on a regular day. With temperatures sometimes reaching 140F*. Anything not wearing proper gear would slowly get cooked alive, yet concealed in plain sight an oasis-like garden was hidden from all.
The Garden of the Mojave, Headquarter of the US branch of Garden of Eden.
Peeling the veil away from the empty land, you will find yourself in a small city easily able to hold upwards of a million residents.
Though it rarely ever got that close with the amount of death and carnage found within it. Besides a few key locations, the entire city was a lawless place perfect for those who wished for freedom or to enact the vilest desires in their hearts.
Appearing like it had been sculpted from rock and metal the city was stunning and lush with vegetation, the temperature inside while not quite comfortable still below the searing heat outside the city's limits.
Deep within one of the larger buildings covered in red banners with a snake insignia, two sweaty bodies intermingled.
A fairy laid beneath a beast, his thrusts attempting to ravage the young woman, to try and claim her as his and his alone.
The rhythmic sound of flesh on flesh was starting to reach its peak, and a sonorous cry of pleasure left the woman while the man grunted and bucked forward delivering his seed deep in the woman, the warmth it brought her insides bringing her to the same climax the man had just reached.
The room entered a state of silence beside the heavy breathing of the couple on the bed, their sweat and juices intermingling between the two.

"That was amazing Hasan." Her voice was sultry, making the young man laying to her side feel his member stiffen in response.
"I would do anything for you Heiress." The young man's voice was full of bliss and passion, his love for the woman before him unquestionable.
"I know Hasan, to me you are the shining knight to my dark days. Though now that I'm free from your intense lovemaking, could you tell me if the task I asked of you done?" She asked as she danced her fingers across his muscular chest, like the performance of a professional ice skater, smooth and majestic.
"It was an arduous endeavor, but I managed to acquire all the paperwork you needed. Even if they triple check everything, the heroes will be unable to figure anything out. I even extracted a few favors from some technomacers that owed me to protect your identity online for the three years you'll be spending there." He spoke of his tribulations but to acquire the beauty to his side even the treachery of betraying his own father mattered little to him, as long as she became his.
"Your such a brilliant man, no one other than you could have found the loophole in the Hero Guilds systems." She showered him with compliments, making Hasan feel his pride swell, amongst other things.
"It was your appearance in my life that led to this, if anyone should be receiving compliments it must be you, my dear. Still, I wish I could join you, we won't be able to see each other for months at a time once you enter the Academy." He felt a pang in his heart at the thought of being separated from his true love.
"You'll be fine, I'll give you lots of love on my holidays. I promise you, my handsome beast." She patted his cheek lovingly as a soft ring came from the pile of clothes to her side."
"Is that your phone?" Hasan asked sadly, he knew the Heiress was a busy woman, so their love time was likely to end for the day.
"Yeah, It's probably my Father. Wait for me I'll go change into something then we can snuggle together for a while." Grabbing her phone and walking to the door bare-ass Hasan sat there hypnotized by the swaying of her golden hips.
Outside the room, the woman answered her phone, receiving a question as the first words from the person on the other side.
"Amelia, have you gotten what you needed?" A raspy voice old with age, or possibly sickness came from the phone.
"Yes Father, all the paperwork is ready. I'm now enrolled at the Academy for the coming semester, as well as inside protection with a couple of technomancers." She answered a matter of factly.
"Good, it was a pain in the ass getting that kid to betray his father. Took years of planning, and thankfully your blossoming beauty."
"It was easy making him fall for my charms. He barely put up any resistance. Though his skills in the bed weren't all that bad." A naughty yet radiant smile stretched her face.
"What a troublesome girl, just like your mother….." The voice lapsed into silence and eventually hung up at his daughter's vulgar words.
"Father, you prude." She laughed at no one but its peals echoed throughout the empty hallway.
Amelia's phone rang once more but this time when she answered all the mirth she had was gone.
"Heiress are you done with the fool?" A woman's voice low and serrated with violence came from the other side.
"I was just about to cut the loose ends, prepare me a bath at home. I'm filthy, and I need to clean myself." Walking straight out of the building wearing nothing but her underwear the stunning Hispanic brunette reached a white limo that was parked and waiting for her.
A few men had seen her and had attempted to approach but the moment they came 3ft near her they stopped, as though frozen in time.
"To my home Stephany, and do open a window I smell terrible."
"Of course Heiress." Stephany, the driver, pulled out of the building which was owned by a small Villian, the windows opened enough to allow fresh air to come inside.
It was as they reached the 500ft mark that a massive quake shook the street.
The Serpents Den a building 20 stories high, strong and durable enough to withstand a 10.0 earthquake collapsed on itself.
The men in the front also collapse, perfectly diced into 100 small pieces, their flesh spurting blood everywhere before the building fell on them as well.
When later looked at to figure out what had caused this, the investigators of the city only found 100 perfect straight cuts throughout the building at various angles.
And that was enough for them to realize whoever had done this shouldn't be looked for.
Boston - Tower of Babel - Headquarters of The Vigilante Autarky
Within a building quite unlike anything thing that has ever been seen before, the Earth and the stars were connected. It's hight boundless and unending.
A tube-like structure acted as the worlds only space elevator and World Headquarters for the Vigilantes Autarky.
Near the bottom yet still higher than any other building in the world, a gathering was taking place.
"So did our Hunters find the target or not? Those bastards aren't cheap, so if find out any of my money was wasted I will be filing a complaint against you Silas!" A short fat man red of face yelled at the man on the podium, a nod of agreement coming from five others of the twelve present.
"Our best Hunter has confirmed that the target is still within New Athens, and in fact, they is definitely as powerful as we are hoping, Yuri guaranteed me this." Silas, a handsome man with the barest signs of greying hair, stood before his peers, this current mission under his control and management.
"So what did that oaf say to you that has you grinning like a fool." Ryan, a close friend yet competitor of Silas, spoke up.
"You all know about Yuri's unique tracking abilities, and how they could be seen as magical even when compared to other powers. He performs shamanistic like rituals for whenever he tries to find a target, and he's never failed us once, despite how strange his actions are. But this time he explained to me in detail, that while he had found the target, it had somehow dissolved the connection he had towards his tracker, something only a Silent Room is capable of!" Excitement despite he long years of learning to hold it in leaked out of Silas, but the rest of the gathering Ignored it as they too had their excitement build.
"A movable Silent Room would be Invaluable!"
"I will increase my portion of the budget by 15%, but I demand the first usage once we acquire the target!"
"I raise my portion by 25% I have things I need to do and this power will make me billions in just a few days if I can get my hand on it!"
The room exploded into who would have the first usage of the target once they acquired it. They might all be savvy businessmen, but in this room sometimes they would let their greedy nature genuinely get a hold of them.
"Gentlemen relax, you'll all get a chance at the target, but I believe it to be able to do much more than just imitating a Silent Room otherwise the detectors wouldn't have been destroyed the way they had." Quieting the room, he spoke of the additional hidden potential of the target.
The room was a flurry of chatter for the remainder of the meeting, as billions more were invested into finding the target, its potential abilities alone worth the investment.
The meeting had just ended when Ryan walked up to Silas, clapping him in the back.
"You sneaky bastard, I don't know how you snatched up this mission, but you'll be making more out of this than all of us combined if you manage to get the target."
"Oh, I know, its why Terry's so angry at me, I pulled the contract right from under him!" The two shared a laugh as they walked towards the relaxation room.
There droves of young woman and men could be seen moving around the private cubicles, servicing higher level employees within the Autarky.
The two men ignored the soft moans and gasps that they sometimes heard from the cubicles that they walked by.
They eventually reached the VIP room exclusive for those of their status.
Scantly dress the woman who you might only find on magazine covers served alcohol and light snacks to the chattering men, with the higher up woman having their own exclusive side to the room.
"Oh Candance is here, I love the way she rides, you tried her yet Silas?" The lecherous eyes stared at the blonde who was at the moment serving the red face man from earlier.
"You know my wife can smell other women on me you idiot, I don't happen to have death wish yet so unless she's out for a few days the best I can do here is the occasional low tier service."
Indeed it was true Mrs. Orian was a deadly and jealous woman who worked for the Heros guild as an SS-Rank Hero. As for why she didn't work with the Autarky despite her husband being somewhat high up the ladder she never said, but Silas thought having an excellent piece of ass like her was good enough even if they were from two different factions.
"You old dog, I never understood why you married such a crazy bitch like her. My wife knows her place, she gets whatever she wants, and doesn't bat an eye no matter how many women I bring over. We both indulge in our pleasure, and that's all that should make us happy!" Laughing energetically Ryan dug his fingers into a young woman barely older than 18 who had just walked by, the sudden action causing her to almost spill the drink she was serving.
"Well, with how weak my own powers are I needed some strong blood to make sure my children came out like the cream of the crop. Luckily for me, no one else seemed to want her due to her personality, so here I am 18 year later with twins who both possess S-Grade abilities and a wife who in her fifties still looks like shes barely a day over 35. Not too shabby don't you think?"
"Ah, your twins are finally adults ehh, where are you sending them? The Northeastern branch of College for the Autarky is quite good, and with you, as their father they won't have to deal with the dregs down below."
"Well about that… Both of them are actually going to the Heros Academy" A bit of shame left Silas voice as he looked anywhere else to avoid the embarrassing stare that came from having your wife chose where your kids go because you're too weak to tell her otherwise.
"For someone who I've seen end thousands of careers with just a phone call, and then eat a sandwich at lunch like it was nothing, you sure are whipped, my friend…" Ryan wanted to laugh, but even he knew that it wouldn't be worse than what Silas had to deal with.
"Well cheer up pal, you'll get your dick sucked, and by the end of the week, you'll be billions richer once we catch the target! Now move aside I see a girl I haven't tried yet!" With a battle cry, Ryan grabbed a girl and tossed her over his shoulder like a caveman, taking her to a private room despite the terrified look in her eyes.
She must be new, thought Silas as he watched the petite woman disappear into the room with the almost 7ft tall monster that was Ryan.
Well she knew what she was getting into when she signed up for the job. Working this high up the tower she was bound to make more than a lower end CEO, within a year she'll be able to follow her dreams and be free from the lower class.
Soon she'll see why here at the Auturky we all wholly believe that money Can buy happiness.
