I awoke an hour later with a *ping*. I realized that I was still here which means that I was able to successfully gain its abilities and the imp wasn't lying. This also reinforced the fact that I was no longer back in my apartment, on Earth. I read the message that was floating in the corner of my vision before letting out a stream of expletives. The little imp lied to me. I didn't need to eat the whole of my enemies but just a bite. *Congratulations, you have tasted the blood and flesh of Fred, the minor imp. As such you have gained a minor blessing and power from Fred, the minor imp.*
*Summon beast; this skill has been modified and tailored to you. You may choose to summon a: Wolf, Turtle, Bear, or chicken. You may only choose one animal, and whichever one you choose may not be changed*
*Boon: Black Blood; your blood is made up of toxic poisons that allow you to excrete and poison you have come in contact with, this down not make you immune to poisons.*
Laughing to myself I Spoke aloud “Summon Beast” and a window appeared in front of me asking me which beast I would like to summon. Laughing I mumbled to myself, “chicken? Seriously, who would choose chicken?” All of a sudden a swirl of black particles appeared and disappeared, leaving a chicken that was about 2 ft. tall standing there. Then a message appeared reading *Congratulations! You have gained the skill Summon Minor chicken, you have lost the skill Summon Monster*
“What, I did not say I wanted a chicken!” I screamed at the air. I did that for the next 5 minutes as I looked on in anger, hoping that a new window would appear. It didn't. I was stuck, with a chicken now as my Summon. I had always dreamed of being some epic summoner, and when I get my chance to become one, I instead become an epically LAME summoner.

Looking down at the clocking chicken I realise that it was a rooster, the one good thing. If I had a useless then I would have really been screwed. It looked up at me and crowded with an evil glint in its eyes as if it was laughing at me.
“Why you little…” I yelled as I ran after it, trying to catch it. It was a beautiful red and brown chicken with long black tail feathers. Calming down I decided to sit down and study the chicken. *Pheonix, minor minion, level 1.* I closed the screen as there was nothing important. Deciding that I needed to test it out, I pointed out a bee and said “you seem like just a chicken, but maybe you're more. Sick’em!” The rooster crowed and charged the giant bee. When it got 5 feet away it flapped its wings and took to the air, reaching the head level of the bee and spurring it in the eye. The bee let out a bzzzz as green ichor flowed down its face. It was over in an instant as the bee took to the air and stung my chicken, before turning to me and letting out a bzzzzzzwzzzzzz. My chicken froze, before collapsing. Another bee turned to face me as its eyes turned red. The first bee collapsed from the loss of its stinger as the second one launched into the air and started to charge me. *Congratulations, your summon *chicken* has defeated a tier 5 bee and gained the ability *call*; you have gained a tier 5 boon.*
*Boon: Bee’lzebub; You are known all across the mortal plane of Insectus as the devil. As such all insects will hate you and attack you on sight. When killing insects you have a chance to gain an additional ability related to the insect.*
Jumping to the left I dodged the stinger of the giant bee. Looking down at my hand I realized that a small amount of the poison dripped down on me, burning my skin and flesh all the way to the bone. Suppressing a scream, I blocked out all the pain in favor of staying alive. When the bee flew at me again I ducked right below the bee, grabbing the stinger and holding on tight as the momentum of the bee attempted to rip it out of my hand, before the stinger detached from its body and its stringy insect guts came falling out, followed by the thump as the bee landed on the ground. Steam rose in the air as the pile of intestines cooled against the air. The sky was slowly going green as what appeared to be the moon rose into the sky, It was turning night.
