Seeing how the crew of the Basilisk responded to his order Vance remembered Delane's lesson about artillery units. The lesson Vance learned was that because of the loud shock wave generated from artillery cannons, they can damage the hearing and bones of their crews.

Noticing how they were talking Vance knew that the hearing of the Basilisk's crew was heavily damaged. That is why they couldn't hear him. Delane taught him sign language but if they can't notice him then how can they see your signs?

Then Vance walked towards them and patted one crew man on the shoulder.

The man turned his head when he felt the touch on his shoulder and saw Vance donned in a commissar uniform.

"Greetings Sir" the man said aloud and saluted.

Vance gave him a command using the signs and everything goes on smoothly but problems started to appear when the combat test began. Especially when ordering the coordinates and angle of their fire his hand signs can't keep up with what he wanted to say.

But in a week Vance learned to adapt to the deafness of the crew and started to give commands quickly in the combat tests battles.

"Good work junior Vance this is your reward", while praising Vance, Delane gave a small device that could fit in his ear.

Then Vance noticed all the crewmembers of the basilisk have this kind of device on their ear during the tests this week. When Vance put the device on his ear he knew it was a communication device.

Delane gave two days rest before the last test.

While Vance was practice shooting on the field, he heard the voice of Whitey. When he turned his head he met Whitey she was wearing a rusted red colored robe and holding a mini model of an emperor class titan.

Whitey greeted her Master with a smile.

Vance puts his gun down and said while cleaning his hand "Hey Whitey did your lesson finish?".

"Yes! Magus said I would take the test the same time as master" said Whitey.

Vance he notices she was tinkering with an unknown model on her arm.

"What are you doing ?" asked Vance he didn't receive any info about the thing Whitey was holding because of his low rank he only knew the toy Whitey was holding was similar to the giant statue in front of him.

"Today Magus showed me an extension of the machine gods omnessiah an Imperator-class Titan it was so big and looked so powerful, it also had so many guns," explained Whitey as she tried to represent the size by her hand with a glittering eye.

"Woow that is definitely a lot of guns," said Vance after checking the mini model of the Imperator-class Titan.

"I wanted to enter it but Magus said 'your masters ranks is not yet high enough' and just allowed me to look it was apparently I am connected to them, " said Whitey a little bit of disappointed clear on her face.

"It is okay in the future we'll even get to ride it," said Vance as rubs Whitey's head.

He felt that in a few months Whitey's height increased and now her height reached Vance's shoulder and her skin became more smooth and white, while her hair also was turning whiter and silky.

"What should we do now ?" asked Vance.

"Can I fire master's gun ?" asked Whitey in a little-embarrassed tone.

"Okay let's compete with how many targets we can hit. The loser will grant one wish of the Winner" Vance proposed as he was bored and also because Whitey stopped sleeping near him for a month.

With the semi-auto mode engaged, in few seconds, Vance empties the entire magazine when he cehck the point it showing 25 points 1 point per target and quickly switches magazine and continues fire.

*Ding!* with a sound the screen showed his result of 100 points.

"Now it's your turn," said Vance with a smile.

"Okay then" ,Whitey takes Vance's gun and starts to fire against the target with the auto mode. All of her shots hit every target as if she knows the future but was really just advanced calculation.

*Ding* the results Screen showed 200points and destroyed the pride Vance had felt.

"Can I do it again I just blinked," said Whitey pleads Vance showing her big cute eye. That finished Vance in every kind of way.

This time Whitey holds the type III auto gun with one hand and raises her other hand towards the targets.

Suddenly her hand slowly transformed into many barrels of a gun then she opens fire to targets. It was more like a bombardment.

Before Vance said 'you won' Whitey shot red lightning from her eyes hitting the last target.

After one minute

"What was that ?" asked a dumbfounded Vance as he turned to check Whitey's body but didn't find any targeting cybernetics like on Magos.

"S-stop master I'll tell you how I did it," said Whitey with a red face.

"Magos said, everyone, that studies under Adeptus Mechanicus must have Electoo for allow me to consciously channel the bioelectricity, Cortex Implants for an eidetic memory and heighten my intelligence and ability to consume and correlate large amounts of data and Electro-grafts for allowing me to interface electronic machinery and digital data. But my body just absorbed them, isn't that amazing. Seeing that Magos and the other priest who was helping him started to scan me and found out my absorbed enhancements and transformed them as part of my body" said Whitey with a proud expression.

"Then what happened ?" asked Vance in a worried tone 'did they do something to her body ?' he wondered worried thought.

"After the scan, they started to celebrate while saying they had found the perfect combination of human and machine. When I asked what it was they said that my entire body is a machine but works like a humans body.

Then as they thought it a sin to try to enhance my body with their unclean technology they gave me a high rank energy core that can be found in master's rank along with high-quality Electoo, Cortex Implants and Electro-grafts while cursing that master's rank was too low to give me better stuff" she finished though Whitey didn't know what they meant by their words.

'I'm just happy that you didn't sell you organs to them' thought Vance because he heard about the priesthood of the Adeptus Mechanicus from Delane.

Vance "Then what about that weapon that's on your arm ?"

"I exchanged them for one of my hairs," explained Whitey as if she had bargained something.
