The sky was clear without clouds and sun scorched blazingly. In the distant wasteland, there were no moving object but 5 horses that calmly moving through with their riders. Yes–– one of them was me, the great Kuroki Saito, who somehow being summoned into another world and turned into a girl.
We was going into enemies’ territory to assassinate the king of Rukh Kingdom that was about to sign an alliances with another kingdom. Since the protection was weaker, we decided to take the chance.
Not that I care about this specific kingdom, I was only tried to safe my summoned buddies, Yuuko Nana and William Lionel who also forcibly summoned and then trashed out from being ‘summoned heroes’ into ‘useless trash’ just because their abilities were thought as weak.
Okay, back into the stories, after one and half a day in a horse, finally we could see our destination.
– Fara Gate –
From afar, it’s looked just like a normal stone gate. It’s about 4 meters height and placed between two huge mountains by about 30 meters length. In both corner, there were guard posts guarded by three people each. I didn’t think we can do anything besides attack it head-on.
“That’s the gate. The enemy should have already seen us coming. Prepare for attack.”
––What!? We are not even using strategy or anything? We just attack head-on like this? What the hell is this King thinking? Well, I don’t think he’s thinking about anything at all.
Then the king took out a sword from his waist.
“You, Kuroki-dono, with your speed you should be able to do a pincer attack. You head left, those sorcerers will head right.”
“Whaa––“
Even though I was surprised about the sudden order, I immediately drop off the horse and head left. Get my blade ready and prepare for my first battle.
In front of the gate, there stood a short girl with long black hair that I similar with.
“––!!! Sa–Sayaka––“
I stopped near her, but the sorcerers already launch their attack.
“Wait!”
I knew my voice won’t change anything.
And then Sayaka and her surrounding exploded after receiving 18 fireballs.

After a few hours, the carriage stopped.
We arrived in a huge stone gate.
“Here we are. I request you to stay alert in front of the gate. The enemies may arrive anytime soon. Protect the gate at any cost. You can summon anything you can imagine strong enough to kill them.”
“I must… kill them?”
“They are enemies; it’s only about kill the enemy or killed by the enemy.”
I never thought that I have to kill someone. But that’s couldn’t be helped, right?
Then the old man turns himself and went into the big building inside the gate. Then I prepare myself for the enemy’s attack.
An hour passed. Just as I started to get tired, few horses appeared.
(So that’s the enemies. With that numbers, they are likely to attack from two or three sides. That’s not really a problem. I just need a monster big enough to cover the entire gate and hard enough to protect me from sword and magic. Then I’ll just try to summon this one.)
–– Orthrus ––
–– A two-headed dog with a tail of serpent who born only to guard his master’s herds. As a brother of Kerberos, he also have a strength rivaled his brother, only to be killed later by Heracles. He should be enough to repel the enemies. ––
Just as I predicted, the enemy split into two. One; attack head-on with a sword, three; attack from my left, and one horse ran alone (Why I wonder?). The three called many fireballs and targets me. Just as the fireballs launched, suddenly someone yelled beside me.
“Wait!”
“Eeh––!!!”
(A girl? Where did she come from?)
“Kuhh– Summon!”
And the fireballs exploded. Exactly when it explodes, Orthrus appeared in front of me and protect me from the attacks.

After the blast, just as I despaired over my exploded sister, a huge shadow appeared.
A huge black dog with height easily overcomes the gate with two heads suddenly appeared and roared. It didn’t look damaged at all after all that fireballs.
“What the hell is that?”
The King stopped his horse. But the sorcerers, unable to stop in time, panicked and fell from the horses. Their horses also scared and ran away; leave their rider in the ground. Then stomped beautifully by the big dog.
But, I have more important thing to do right now.
“Sayaka… Is that really you?”
“Huh?”
Sayaka looked at me suspiciously.
“Who are you? How do you know my name?”
“It’s me! Your dear brother.”
“Oh sure. I didn’t know my brother can be this cute. So, now you can change your gender, huh?”
“Ye–yeah! I don’t know why, but I turned into a girl after summoned here. More importantly, why are you here?”
“Hee~” Sayaka said expressionlessly.
“First, let’s get out of here!”
Suddenly, Sayaka grabbed my shirt and threw me into her dog. She caught me off guard.
“Don’t mess with me! I don’t know how you know my name and about me having a brother, but I won’t get fooled by you. You have to show me some proof.”
“Whaa––“
When I thought I would be eaten or stomped by the dog, the dog slammed into the gate. What stood there was no other than the cockroach-like King.
“Hmph.. Looks like you still haven’t mastered your summoning skill, young lady. He’s just so weak I can barely show my skills.”
“I–Impossible...”
I also thought the same thing. That big dog was weak?
“To think that the summoned hero would be this weak, looks like I don’t need to summon them after all. That also means I might as well dispose of you and those two ‘heroes’ left.”
“……–– Summon!”
Just as I heard that word, the sky around me darkened. Both I and the cockroach-king look up. A huge, no–– gigantic thing appeared and completely covered the sun. From my view, I couldn’t even see the sky anymore. That thing’s just that big. And with the way it’s floating, made it looks like a ceiling. And the most important thing is, that ‘thing’ was moving, but I still couldn’t see its corner. Just how big that thing was I wonder? Lastly, from that thing, thousand, no, millions of bird-like fur dropped.
“What is that thing? How were you able to summon something like that? You are the one summoning that thing, right?”
The cockroach-king suddenly pulled her shirt into him with angrily looks in his face. He pulled her so hard until I could see her panties from the ground where I fallen off. That’s pink! Wait–– now is not the time for that! I forced myself to stand up, and then I pull out my sister from that cockroach’s hands.
“Hey, what are you doing to my sister, you shit!”
“What now, are you also going to makes enemy of me? Know your place, trash. But now that you are of no use for me, I can kill you anytime. ”
“Hmph! I may not capable of doing anything right now, but soon enough you will bow before the mighty and genius me!”
“…!!!” “What was that?“
“More importantly, what was that, Sayaka?”
“….––Ziz.”
“The King rule over the birds. Legend said that his wings able to blocked the sun, but I don’t expect it to be this huge. If that kind of thing rampages, this world may come to an end, huh… Now how to stop that thing? Should I summon something big again and make it kill each other–– no, that will make chaos–– but that’s still better than the world’s end, right? Then––”

Suddenly a voice out of nowhere speaks. “That voice–– The old man?”

Then bloods gush out from Sayaka’s mouth and eyes.

Suddenly that girl shouts as if wanted to help me, and pulled me out from that black knight’s hand.
“Hmph! I may not capable of doing anything right now, but soon enough you will bow before the mighty and genius me!”
(…–– !!? That kind of speaking… Is she really my brother? But there should be no one fool enough to call him/herself mighty and genius, shouldn’t it?)
Just then she asked me about that creature, and as I explained and though about the countermeasure of it, the old man’s voice can be heard from the surrounding air.
Suddenly my body feels hot.
Just as the old man’s voice stopped, my view replaced in red color, my insides felt really hurt each time I breathe air, my throat continuously produce blood which makes me puke. As energy left my body, I started to fell off. My ‘brother’ caught me and screamed to me.
“Sayaka! What the heck happened? Can you hear me? Sayaka! Sayaka!!”
“Nii–– you’re noisy––““!!! ……Sayaka–– You, believe this is me? “
I saw my ‘brother’‘s clothes full of my blood, but she still remain beside me. Her eyes full of tears that somehow made me really happy.

Sayaka still lay emotionless in my hands. I had to quickly find a medicine or any way to cure her before it’s too late. I screamed to the voice, “You damned, what have you done to Sayaka?”
(So her name is Sayaka, huh? I just made her eat one of my familiar unconsciously. I just put it in her soup last time, and now that she has to be eliminated, I told him to eat her insides.)

Just as my anger almost reached its peak, the summoned Ziz made a move. It’s screaming, then one of its wing make a splash at the ocean, and one slap the earth.
That splash made a tower of water so high that would never be seen with human’s power. The water tower of about 16 kilometers height and 40 kilometers width pulled back by the gravity into the planet. More than 200 ton liters of water fall at once and hit the ocean and the land made the worst tsunami the world had ever seen. It destroyed the continent and its entire people. Water covered the land 300 kilometers around the center of the tsunami.
The slap on the other side made damage that even shock the whole planet. The shockwave and its aftereffect even enough to crush the brain and internal organ of people within 50 kilometers. Even Sayaka and the others can felt them. It’s made a quake for about 5 minutes that killed about three thousand people.
“What a power. We have to quickly make it stop before more people got hurt. Get lost, kid. You know what’s more important, right?”
“––Yeah… My sister’s more important than this world. I cannot get back to my world, if I have to get my sister killed in order to save this world, then I would rather see this world get destroyed.”
The cockroach king looked at me like he saw a trash on the ground. “I see… Then you are also an enemy.”
“Nii– what’s wrong? I can’t hear anything… It really hurts”
Bloods even came out from her ears and vital. It was really painful to look at her now. What I could do for now was to force that voice to tell me.
“That man told Sayaka to protect him means that he was the man that the King wants to kill. Then he must be somewhere within the gate.”
(Don’t worry about me, since long ago I have already departed. The meeting in this gate was just a bluff you know, no one would dare to hold a meeting in a place that was so easily passed through.)

After some struggle, finally I succeeded to raise Sayaka’s body. Just as I thought I had to bring her to place with more people to raise the chance to meet someone who could cure her, her stomach torn apart from the inside. Lots of her insides felt out of her. Then, a big black bug in size of a man’s fist jumped out from her torn body and fled instantly from here. As at the time, I sat in my knees to support Sayaka’s back, now my face all red in her bloods, but I did not care about that.
In the same time her stomach torn, her breath’s stopped. Her already weaken body now became stiff.
Sayaka was dead.
My hands supporting her body now fell to the ground. My mind stopped working, I just could not think of anything. My body got limp.
––What the hell is this... Why all of this is happening to me? I don’t think I have done anything that deserves something like this. But as expected, even genius like myself unable to fight the wheel of fate. I wonder if there were magics to bring back the dead. But even so, that would be different. She was dead. Sayaka’s death was a fact that could not be changed anymore. ––
What make it worse was that I was in another world. Even though Sayaka died in my previous world, at least she has a place that she left as her last memories, but here, not only memories, she might not even recognized her brother (or rather, sister) and even the reason she died. She didn’t even know why she was here.
This kind of unreasonable and illogical world, I would reject it.
I would do whatever it can to get back my usual normal life.
But first, I have to kill that man––, no, that bug for killing my little sister. I would have him paid for what he has done––––

A boy named William Lionel was in the middle of his training with another soldiers in the training ground about two kilometers from the palace he was summoned. After forcibly summoned and taken as useless, he again forced into labor work while trained as soldier.

“What the hell––“ William and the soldiers looked in awe. “Is that something normal in this world?” William opened his mouth with cold sweats all over his face.
“Of course not! What the heck was that?” One of the soldiers William known named Pisu shouting in panic. “That’s appearing out of nowhere in a sudden. I have never seen something like that.”
Just as the whole army attacked by panic over the sudden appearance of the huge creature, the earth shocked. Then the bird roared while slammed its wings. Its roar and wings caused a greater effect than expected. William saw the castle towers destroyed by nothing but the sound wave of the roar. The whole kingdom shocked that made buildings turned into ruins. Chaos erupted everywhere in the whole Kingdom.
William suddenly remembered about his companion, a Japanese maid girl named Yuuko Nana who still resided in the castle. He rushed into the castle and left the soldiers. “Hey, William boy! Where are you going? It’s not safe there!” Pisu shouted something but got ignored completely. The whole soldiers hide in the underground shelter nearby, but then a huge boulder dropped from the mountain nearby and completely sealed the only entrance (and exit). But no one realized they were there until the end.
As William got into one of the former castle tower that had already becomes a ruin, he used his power and control the terrain around him. The previously 6 levels tower had already gone, leaving a pile of brick stones behind. But that made it easy to find something within. Just after he moved the whole stones, a few corpses appeared flinched by the stone walls; it looked like they were late to flee. But within the corpses, William didn’t see the girl. He only saw some guards and soldiers. She might already stay in a safe place– at least that was what he thought.
Suddenly the land shocked once more, this time the shock were harder than before. The towers around William started to break apart and fell, made more ruins. “Damn it! Where should I go now?”
Just like that he ran all the way into the outskirts of the kingdom 8 kilometers from the castle. In the way he found many houses already became ruins, and people going rampart ran away to save their life and family.
When finally he reach the east outskirts, which was the nearest from the towers, he saw the bird monster disappear into light particles. “Just what the heck… happened...” muttered William while relaxing his legs and dropped his body into the ground.
“I’m guessing it must be the work of one of those ‘heroes’.. Maybe the other kingdom also summoned one... I think it’s about the time Saito-san arrived at his target location. I hope you’re alright there, Saito-san.”
Because of the training, and all that running, energy left William’s body immediately after he laid his body. He fell asleep instantly on the ground, without care of his surroundings. All the thought of the safety of Yuuko Nana have already left his mind by then.

Yuuko Nana was summoned into an unknown world where she has to be heroes. But after decided that she was useless, she was sent into prison. She was summoned only two and half a days ago, but his face right now was like she was in a hellish place after some years. Tears and bruises covered her face and body. Even though she was outside, she’s currently bare naked. Her hands covered her bountiful breast.
She walked limply within the town without destination. She had nothing to do. She had nowhere to go. And she had no one to protect her. The only people she knew have already nowhere to be found. There were no light of hope for her mind.
Her mind was already broke at this point. Her eyes were dead.
After she sent into prison by the guards, it was already dark outside. Because she was summoned when she was about to eat dinner, right now her stomach showed a signal of her hunger. Even without people around, her face was blushing.
She sat at the only bed in the prison. While looked at the moon, she was sighing. Her mind was at chaos because everything went very quickly. She didn’t remember doing something that deserves a prison.
After cried a little, she finally asleep.
That morning, she was taken out by some guards. Yuuko thought that she would be given her breakfast at last, but she realized she was wrong.
“Eh? What’s this place?” she was taken into some kind of room full of tools and machinery. That might sounds normal, until she saw what kind of tools and machinery there were. Her face gone pale.
After that, for the whole two days, she was being used by the men from all the guard squadrons. As a tool of pleasure, she didn’t even have any human right; she even treated no better than animals. For Yuuko, those two days feel like hell.
She felt that died might even be better that this.
Her mind was already dead by then.
