CHAPTER 3: UNEXPECTEDLY EXPECTED
"So you see, Dark matter is not supposed to be seen by us. But we can see this, meaning something happened to us which enabled us to see dark matter."
I explained while on our journey to library.
Umer: "But then there should be a condition for the phenomenon to happen right?"
"Right. That is true and that is one of the things we need to know."
Umer: "One of...?"
"Well you see, Dark matter is unknown and mysterious to us, yet now we can see and mingle with it. There is no way something that makes up more than 90% of our universe be useless. So, when we learn something about dark matter which we don't know, there may be a chance for us to get something new out of it."
Umer: "In simpler words, we can test out new theories that come in our mind after discovering something new about dark matter, with the visible dark matter."
"Yes. Exactly."
Umer: "Good grief, can't you summarize it easily?" He said in annoyance.
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
"Don't blame me" I shrugged.
"In schools, we are required to drag anything as long as possible and thanks to that I have developed this ability. But I rarely drag things like these out so don't worry, I most probably won't do it again." I said innocently.
Umer: "Kk, oh! I think we are here." He said excitedly.
"Finally!" I exclaimed.
After crossing some main roads, going through some alleyways. taking some shortcuts, we were finally here at this beautiful structure.
"The District Library"
It had a medieval type feeling.
A medieval type door.
Outside the door there was a roof that protects from sunlight all around the walls of the library. It gave a nice architectural look to it.
The outer roofs were supported by pillars and black-colored benches were placed underneath the outer roofs for people to sit in.
The Insides were also beautiful.
Tons of shelves lined up. Neat and tidy.
the space between the floor and roof was large enough to make you feel comfortable enough to sleep here.
The roof arched upwards until it met a dome. The Dome was made of glass, allowing enough sunlight to light up the library.
It was perfect to the point to make you realize nature's beauty.
The floor was made of white marble, blending in spectacularly with the Darkish-brown wood of shelves and the beautiful sunlight.
Of course, there were lights inside. But they were medieval road lights which gave an immense boost to the interior.
The hall was large.
There were tables and chairs to sit and study or read on.
Admiring this marvelous piece of work, we headed towards the receptionist to know the rules of borrowing and reading.
The receptionist was a woman.
She told us we could sit and read for as long as needed but we couldn't take it outside without borrowing it.
...
The Library was huge.
So there were a lot of sections of book types that don't exist in normal libraries.
There was a specific section on dark matter and we went there but....
We were surprised.
Surprised at the fact that there were 5 more people at the dark matter section.
Who would be interested in something that is not popular or more unknown than known?
But all that made sense after we noticed that...
The 5 people were all who could see dark matter..
...and 3 of them were my best friends.
