Sorting through her inventory was tedious even with filters and the “Select All” and “Delete Selected” buttons. But at least Kiyomi’s inventory held all the drops from the monsters she had killed. Most of the drops were useless with some requiring other classes, so she went back to Elora and sold them. That added another around 3 million gold to her stack, making it about 18.1 million in total. Good, I don’t have to worry about money for a while.
She went back into her inventory.

Description
A long, wooden staff, formed from the branches of an ashen-gray tree with the top containing small branches that intertwine.
Using a staff of her own element gave a small bonus to her damage and accuracy too.
It seemed decent for a midgamer, so she equipped it. That was the best one she had in her inventory. She moved on and equipped other gear.

…Plain black studs.
There. All geared up. I’m not forgetting anything, am I? She pondered and ran through her mental checklist… Oh, she needed supplies…
~~~
By now, Luna had finished Sako’s cup and had started on her own cup. Her cup was nearly empty. “Do you want me to finish the rest of it?”
There was about a cup left in the glass teapot sitting on the tray.
“No, I’ll take the last bit.” Sako lifted the teapot and poured the remainder into her cup. After putting it back down, she drank some from her cup.
The air was quiet. So quiet.
Luna stared at Sako as Sako occasionally sipped from her cup.
“Why are you staring at me?”
“You’re pretty. That’s all. I like looking at you.”
“…Okay…” She looked to the window, hoping to find some comfort in anything she could set her eyes on that wasn’t Luna’s face.
After a few sips and about a minute, she glanced back to Luna… who was still gazing at her… “Do you have to look at me?”
“Yes,” she said with a simple smile.
Silence…
Silence…
They stared at one another.
Sako sipped until her cup was almost done. “This is some good tea.”
“Good! I’m glad you like it! That makes me so happy, more than you know.”
As Sako lifted the cup to her mouth, ready to empty it, she dropped it. The rest spilled onto the table from the overturned cup. She felt dizzy.
“Are you okay? You don’t seem very well.” Luna frowned.
“Why… do I feel…” She leaned to one side and fell off her chair, collapsing onto the floor. Her body went limp as she lay on her back, looking up at the slowly turning ceiling.
“Heh. You almost had me there. I thought I’d have to drink all the tea myself, letting all my planning go to waste.”
“What’s… in… it?”
“I couldn’t see your stats since you were hiding them from me, so I didn’t know what potency to buy. So, to be safe, I bought the strongest, an Ultra Stat Reduction Potion! And then I mixed it in with the tea on my way up here. What’s great is that you can’t taste it. And it sure costed gold, but it was worth it!” Luna went down on the floor on all fours and crawled over her. “I also added my spit, ehehehe…”
“How…”
“Hm? You mean how am I not affected?”
“…Yes…”
Luna slowly shook her head. “Tsk, tsk. It never crossed your mind to check my stats, did it? If you did, you would’ve seen my Immunity buff that I had gotten from drinking an Immunity Potion. You’re not very smart, are you? Or maybe I should appreciate that. It saved me the trouble of having to make up a convincing reason for why I had drunk one, if you ever asked. I like when my girls are stupid. I don’t have to explain a thing to them.”
Sako opened her mouth, trying to say something.
Luna put one index finger to Sako’s lips. “Shh. You better save that energy for when you need to scream in pain!” She frowned again. “I sure wouldn’t want you going silent on me when I start breaking your bones one by one. That’s an important part, you know? I can’t get off properly if you don’t scream and beg for me to stop. And that precious face twisting in fear and pain! Just the thought is making me wet already…” She blushed.
The thoughts in her mind were jumbled, and she couldn’t find her sentences.
“And I also added some Paralysis, so you won’t be going anywhere any time soon. I kinda want to put a gag in your mouth too because then no one would hear you and come running, but then I wouldn’t get to hear those beautiful screams.” She paused, looking up at the ceiling. “Hmm…”
She looked back down at her. “What do you think is better?”
Sako tried to force her body to move, but she felt disconnected from it and so had no control. She made a small, incomprehensible sound, unable to shake her head.
“Yeah, the gag.” Luna opened her inventory, pressed a few buttons on the holoscreen, and a gag appeared in one hand. She put it in Sako’s mouth, wrapped it around her jaws and head, then tightened it. “There we go! Don’t worry, I’ll take things slow, okay? I’ll start with poking holes in you, then I’ll move on to bending those fingers until they snap!”
She pulled a pocket knife from her pocket and drove it down into Sako’s shoulder through her robe.
Sako bit down on the gag as the pain surged through her.
When Luna pulled it out, blood streamed out, reddening the fabric that covered her shoulder. She plunged the blade into Sako’s stomach next.
Sako twitched and her vision blurred as she dug her teeth into the gag, grinding them against it. Tears welled up in her eyes. She felt lightheaded, and it was hard to breathe. Her head was throbbing with pain.
Luna pulled it out, leaned down to her stomach, and took a long, deep sniff of her blood. The area gradually turned red, soaking her robe in blood. “It smells so good. I’ll make sure to lick it all up soon so it won’t go to waste.”
She rose, kneeling over Sako with her hands now around her neck, squeezing it. “See? Isn’t this fun? I can’t wait to feel those fingers…”
From Luna’s shadow on the floor behind her, another shadow rose out of it, towering over the two with glowing, white eyes. It grew hands and swung a fire extinguisher against her head. Just as it struck, a big, red number popped up in bold. A solid Critical Hit.
Luna flew across the room, hit the wall, and fell. Her green HP bar dropped from 100% to 4%, a red bar. She didn’t get up.
The extinguisher vanished from the shadow’s hands…
