Ultimate Descent.

… Suddenly, the grim, void feeling of death disappeared, my consciousness being brought back to my body after it’s short rest, and the feeling of a wet, sticky surface being the first thing that I could notice. I opened my eyes to realize I was in a pitch black room, and a pine green door was standing before me as I laid in a bed made out of organs, tissue and skin. The bed didn’t manage to surprise me much, as I had done things much worse in the past… But the situation was strange, and that was to note. I stepped on the ground after I got up, only to notice a layer of pristine water that did not reach above my toes. I did not mind much, as I immediately opened the door, closing it behind me as I entered the next room.

This room had nothing but fleshy red walls, floor, and roof, along with a flashlight sitting on a podium that was illuminated by a minimal crack on the roof. It was black, and looked as common as any other flashlight I could have seen in a store… But considering the place, a flashlight would make me company. As I went inside of the range of the light, I noticed… This was not daylight. This light is cold. “…” I gave the matter my usual silence, as my hand directed towards the flashlight, in an attempt to grab it. Suddenly, as the flashlight was disrupted by my touch, it’s wrist band tied onto me strongly, this action making me be startled and attempting to pull my hand back, only for the flashlight to move along, since it was still tied onto me. I had disrupted its peace, and now it would not let me go… I understood now. I grabbed it with my hand, and noticed that this flashlight was even more strange than it already seemed due to the tough feel that it gave, resembling a metal as hard as tungsten.

I once again saw a door. This time of a darker, hunter green tone of color. I opened it, leading onto the next room…

This room now seemed more like a labyrinth, due to the many changes and paths it bestowed. Everything looked like a green bathroom of sorts, with moss covering it along with rotten blood and bodies on the floor that seemed to have died painful, gruesome deaths. Strangely, they missed a face, or a difference at all… Like they were no one, nothing important or that I should care about. “Not that I would have done anyways.” I thought about it.

As I travelled and inspected the many different rooms and paths, what seemed obvious is that this place seemed abandoned for years. Not only decades, but centuries… The whole place smelled like rot, and the temperature was warm with a very uncomfortable humidity. Second thing to notice is that I could constantly hear crunching of bones, along with flesh being ripped out of something big… A human, perhaps. But whatever it was, it did seem close, and I couldn’t help but wonder to witness what could be producing these sounds on the background.
