It was a pleasant sunny day, for the camp group on the bus in the mountain pass. If anything, it might have even been a bit too warm, but thankfully their desttination was near a lake, and would have a wonderful hot springs. There would be plenty to do, and it was meant to help bring all the studentts closer ttogether, regardless of age.

Of course, because its a school sponsored event, everyone was wearing a school tracksuit, blue and white, in place of a uniform. There would also be spares once they arrived, and in addition they had packed some extras of otther things as well, but most could be bought or acquired there.

As for this group, it was made of eleven people. Takuma Emiyo, the class president and the oldest one there, a fifteen year old, had been the one to get everyone to organize and get them on the buss. However, Kobayashi found him a bit too forceful and heavy handed.

"You thinking about something interesting, Kobayashi?" Mitsuki Akiyama asked. He was a blue haired boy, and his hair wasn't dyed. He was told it was a unique mutation, as both his mother and sister have the same hair color.

"You are feeling okay, right Kobayashi?" Riku Komiya checked. He was a red haired boy, apparently his grandfather had been Irish or something, but all Riku inhereted with the bright and strong red hair. He also had a pair of energetic red eyes as well.

Kobayashi Suwano was currently sitting inbetween Riku Komiya and Mitsuki Akiyama. They were his two best friends, and were always looking out for him since he got sick and worn out easily. These seats were really only meant to hold two people per, but he ended up getting squeezed in between the three of them. Perhaps because of his smaller frame, and Mitsuki also being fairly small, they were able to make it work though. Riku was also kind of short, so the group looked like they fit well together.

"Well...yeah. I was just thinking how lucky we were to all get in the same group for this trip".

"Ah yeah! That is lucky! Maybe they just know it would be better not to split us up after last time".

"...when you say last time, you mean when I got placed in a different group, and you and Riku broke into the adminitration office and changed up the groupings?"

"I mean, it was a school office, we didn't break in, we had a key, and their password was literally password1. Ill give tthem credit for putting it in english though".

"I know your grateful Mitsuki, and I appreciate you and Riku looking after me, but we all got in big trouble after that".

"I dont even know why you got scolded. You were innocent that time".

Kobayashi let out a sigh. Mitsuki and him met in the worst possible way, with Mitsuki having completely brushed him off. But during their first grade field trip in the mountain for a nature class, there had been an earthquake, and a landslide was caused. Mitsuki was nearly crushed by giant rocks, but Kobayashi pulled him to the side and saved his life. Since then, he and Mitsuki discovered they enjoyed a lot of the same things, and they have gotten along great, although Mitsuki has always seemed especially loyal and worried about Kobayashi due to his poor constitution and tendency to get sick, to the point Mitsuki learned first aid and had a first aid kit that was better stocked then the emergency one on the bus.

"You boys doing okay?" a female voice said with a bit of concern, and also curiosity. The three boys had a shiver run up their spines though, as they turned to face Yuika Akiyama, a fourteen year old girl, a member of the kendo club, and a somewhat oblivious, very strong willed girl. She treats the three of them like little brothers, which means she has crossed many embarassing boundaries with them. She particularly enjoyed giving them baths and forcing them into crossdress and cosplay outfits, but she has some normal sides too.

"Hey, Yui! When we get there, we should see which one of us is da strongest!" Ayumi Takafushi declared. She was the captain of the Karate Club, having taken over the position two years ago. She is probably the strongest girl, or the strongest student, in the elementary, middle, and perhaps even high school levels.

"Why do those three get all the attention...especially Kobayashi" Junta grumbled. The thirteen year old boy and member of the archery club, and while overall a good person, has a very strong crush on Yuika.

Then there were the Nakamura Sisters, Reika who was thirteen years old, and Tamayo who was eleven years old. The older sister was an introvert, and the younger was an extrovert. Not much was known about Reika as a result, but Tamayo...

"As the newspaper club's president, I cant wait to get a whole lot of juicy details and facts from this excersion! Especially when we reach the hot springs!"

"No! Dont get us into trouble, Tama! You are not allowed to peek on the boys again!" Shiki Yatsushiro, an eleven year old boy, vice president and main cameraman for the newspaper club, and childhood friends with Tamayo pleaded. "They are already mad at you when you busted into the changing room with a camera while the boys were all naked!"

"But then, how would I complete the cuteness scale for the boys without seeing their bodies! Do you think boys should have a monopoly on peeking? Of course not!"

"Umm, none of the boys are peepers. Your just doing it...for the thrills I guess. I know you, and your not doing it for lust or anything. So its probably for thrills and curiosity".

"I should publish my research about what boys have developed the most down..."

"Tamayo, delete that research and never publish it, so that the boys dont kill you".

"...im sorry".

If Tamayo was an uncontrollable accelerator pedal, Shivi was the brakes. At least for situations like this.

And then finally, there was Endo Daizsa. He was a quiet boy, a bit of a loner. Known for being very lazy and non-social, and for wearing lots of long sleeves. Honestly, Kobayashi wasn't sure if he really cared about anything.

And then of course there was their bus driver. When they all got in, he closed the doors and mentioned that the staff would meet us there. Apparently given the number of students and available staff to run the summer camp, not every bus had a teacher, so he would be taking them there himself. As the only adult there, he kind of didn't have much pressence.

"Gotta say, I dont recognize this route. Are you sure we are heading the right direction?"

"Yeah. The GPS has been acting up all day, but this should be the right one. There was a landslide awhile back from heavy rain, so its possible the road is closed...or the system just thinks that it is".

The bus driver dismissed it pretty quickly, as the group headed further on the route.

"Hey, Riku, you packed the soccerball right?"

"Yeah! Of course!"

"There is a kind of weird feeling in the air".

"What did you say, Reika-neechan?"

"Ah yeah, it does feel a bit chilly" Mitsuki mentioned.

"Mii-chan, do you need a jacket? I could let you sleep in my lap".

"No thank you!"

"Offer stands for you both as well, Koba-chan, Ri-chan".

"I am good".

"We are fine up here!"

"Can all of you please calm down! We need to go over the notes, like where we should pitch our tents, and what food we should prepare!"

"Oh, I know older class prez! We want meat!"

"Meat would be good".

"I agree with Riku-kun and Shiki! We need meat!"

"Hold on, when did you all get on a first name basis?"

"The only one who said anything odd was Tamayo, older class prez".

"Why do you keep calling him that Riku?"

"Well, I dont think he is actually the class prez for anyone here, right?"

"Oh, thats a good point".

"I am not just a class president though, I am the President of thte Student Council!"

"Dont worry prez! If you need me to beat anyone into submission for ya, I will happily do it!"

"Takafushi-san?!"

"This is getting a bit ridiculous" Junta noted.

A few people burst into laughter at this moment, but Riku, who was sitting in the aisle seat, looked past everything and out the window. That was when he saw it, something appear right in front of them. Behind it was a completely different scenery then what was out the windows, and it looked like it was through a screen of fragmented glass.

And they were heading right for it at full speed, as it appeared without warning.

"Brace!"

Riku shouted that, and he and Mitsuki both linked their arms with Kobayashi's. They also huddled their heads right next to each other, and Riku and Mitsuki slammed their feet into the back of the seat in front of them. They did this in just a mere second or two, right as the bus suddenly hit the barrier. It sounded like something broke, but then the bus suddenly acted as if it was thrown into a tornado but also heading down a rocky mountain road. It felt like they were flung about while driving down an unstable path at the same time.

It was incredibly unpleasant for most of them, however as Riku and Mitsuki braced themselves as well as Kobayashi, the strain was reduced a bit. They were not the only ones to react however, Yuika and Ayumi had the same reactions, just only for themselves, when they heard Riku shout brace. Shiki hadn't been able to do as much, but he had quickly grabbed Tamayo and pulled themselves into a defensive huddle.

And then it seemed like they had entered a forest, with the bus barreling down the bumpy tree root filled forest ground. It bounced around violently for awhile, before it finally stopped in thte middle of a small clearing. Everyone was dizzy and confused, and Emiyo was throwing up. Most of them had bumps and bruises, but Kobayashi had come out unscathed. Of course, he had been insulated by Riku and Mitsuki.

Mitsuki checked his phone, but frowned when he saw there was no signal.

He was fine physically, although...

Ah, that was terrifying...and embarrassing.

"Um, err...you two should probably check on the others, especially you Mitsuki since you have first aid training, but do you mind handing me down my bag?"

"Do you need your medicine, are you sure you are fi...ne?"

When Mitsuki put his forehead to Kobayashi's, he noticed sometthing else, and his eyes widened.

"...Ill get you a blanket to cover yourself as well while you do it. I have a few empty plastic bags in there too".

"Thank you..."

Kobayashi hadn't seen what Riku had and was honestly scarred, and because of how much everything shook and he hadn't used the bathroom in awhile, he had...an incident. He thought he was going to die given how much the bus had shook, and it terrified him.

"Ah......AAHHHHHHH! This cant be happening!" the bus driver shouted, panicked and surprised. He opened the bus doors and fled in hysteria into the woods, as if he was running for his life.

"...there goes the only adult here" Mitsuki muttered.

"Can ya really call that an adult? Ah, here is ya medkid, Mitsu".

"Thanks Riku. And uhh, here Kobayashi".

Mitsuki passed Kobayashi his bag, which had his spare underwear in it. He also passed him a spare tracksuit, and a towel, and finally a blanket and some plastic bags. Yuika seemed to take notice of the situation as she looked over, but said nothing. As much as she loved to treat all three of them like little brothers and embarass them to no end, as expected, she wasn't so cruel as to expose that he did that.

As everyone was getting together, Kobayashi also looked out the window and saw they were in a very big forest. There were also plenty of birds chirping. He didn't recognize them all, but he wasn't a bird watcher, so there was no reason he would.

"Hey, is everyone okay? I need everyone to make sure they are not unconscious, and then I need you all to tell us your names, ages, classes, and favorite color, and if you all see any blood?"

Mitsuki asked that, but Emiyo looked outside and proceeded to panic further.

"Wait, I dont recognize any of those trees...and those mountains too! And...why are there two moons in the sky?!?!"

At Emiyo's words, this caused quite a stir. Mitsuki furrowed his brow. He tried to get everyone's attention again, but his voice didn't quite have the strength.

"YO! SHUT YER HOWLIN AND CALM DOWN! PANICKING WONT DO YA ANY GOOD, AND MITSUKI IS TRYING TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE IS HEALTHY AND OKAY! THATS THE PRIORITY, RIGHT?!?!"

In his loudest voice possible, far louder then one would expect for his size, Riku's voice echoed throughout the bus. This got everyone who had started squabbling at the president's words to stop and pay attention.

"Thank you Riku. Now, please. Is everyone conscious and cohearant? Please introduce yourselves. This is a way medics check for a concussion or other head injuries. There might be someone here who cant move or answer, so please make sure those who can check out the others. Look for blood, or any sign of being conscious but unable to move!"

"Yah, I braced the same way, didn't hit anything or get thrown around. No blood, no headaches, nothing".

"Thats fine and good, but please give a basic introduction anyways. If for no other reason then to show others how its done for these situations".

"Rodger that. My name is Yuika Akiyama, I am Mi-chans...that is, Mitsuki Akiyama's big sister, although in truth I am the oneechan to all three of the shota trio".

"Neechan! Take it seriously and stop using that embarassing and stupid nickname! We are twelve years old now!"

"Sorry sorry. I am an expert at kendo, I am best friends with Ayu, thats Ayumi Takafushi, and like Mi-chan, I have first aid training. Actually, it was Mi-chan who taught me that".

"My name is Ayumi Takafushi. I have not officially ranked up that high yet, but my dojo acknowledges I already have Black Belt level skill, just have not formally got there yet. I am the captain of the Karate Club for our schools. I may be the second oldest here, but I am not good at using my head, just my body, so please leave the leadership role to someone else".

"Well I mean, shouldn't Prez..." Shiki started, looking back at Emiyo. However, Emiyo clearly was shaken, and when they looked at him, it seemed he got even more nervous. "...nevermind. Lets just work as a group and leave the leader thing for later".

"Un. Im not good at my head, but im not that dense".

Kobayashi then finally came out, having finished discreetly changing. He was still a bit red, but otherwise he was fine.

"You feel okay, Koba?"

"Yeah...weirdly enough, I think this might be the best I have ever felt".

At those words, Mitsuki looked concerned. He put his forehead on Koba's again, and then proceeded to take his pulse.

"Mitsu?"

"Sorry, I was checking your pulse. Its still elevated, but not too elevated. Still, you might be experiencing an adrenaline high. Please be careful and let me know if you suddenly get tired. You might feel good now, but every adrenaline high comes with a crash".

"Yeah, sorry...leaving aside the prez, I think everyone is handling this pretty well".

Mitsuki looked at the others. Junta still hadn't said anything, and neither had Endo. Tamayo and Reika was quiet, but that was normal for Reika.

"It looks like everyone is conscious at least, which is good. Some of this might be adrenaline, while the others might be in shock. Yui-nee and Ayu-nee might just naturally be good, but cant be sure of the others yet" Mitsuki said as he went over to Junta. He took out a flashlight, and checked both pupils quickly.

"Hey, hey! What are you doing! I am paying attention, I am just looking out the window in case any wild animals or any people show up. Also..."

He took out his phone, and pointed to the signal indicator.

"We appear to be in a dead zone".

"Yeah, I noticed that as well" Mitsuki menttioned. "Which is weird, because right before the crash, I had almost full bars".

"I checked too. No signal".

"Seriously, no signal?"

"I wasn't expecting any when we went through that weird portal like thing".

The word portal caused everyone to reflexively look behind them, but whatever portal had brought them there was gone. It had already closed.

"...this cant be real" Endo muttered.

"Listen, okay. Lets just focus on making sure everyone is okay".

Shiki then raised his hand.

"Hey, Reika, could you help with Tamayo...and well, bring us our things? And a blanket and towel?"

"Its fine Shiki" Tamayo finally said. "I didn't actually bring a spare tracksuit so that I could bring plenty of equipment, so its just an extra pair of underwear and socks".

"Ah..."

Kobayashi realized what had happened, especially since it happened to him as well.

"...wait, why do they both need their stuff?" Riku asked.

"...because girls pee differently, and if she and Shiki were huddled together..."

"Ah. Sorry".

"Then, what else is there..."

As Tamayo finished getting undressed and putting her stuff in the bag, she leaned out from the towel, exposing her naked body. "Honestly, I dont mind being seen by the boys. Iv already seen plenty of boys naked, and honestly given the situation, such a thing like seeing each other naked hardly matters. Here, lets look at Shiki".

Suddenly she pushed a naked Shiki into the aisle, making his face go red as he covered himself. As if they too felt his embarassment, even the bird chirps let up a bit.

"Tama!"

"See how cute Shiki is? He is quite cute and adorable, especially when naked and acting all embarassed, so please consider becoming his girlfriend!"

"...I am surprised you are not trying to take a picture right now with your camera" Endo commented. "You kept trying with the other boys".

"Eh, well...Shiki is Shiki" Tamayo said a bit dismissively. "Anyways, before we can get dressed anyways, we need the wipes too. Honestly, id prefer to take a bath or a shower, but we dont know how far the nearest river or other body of water is, so until we do, this is what the three of us are limited to".

"Three of?"

"...sorry, meant two of" Tamayo said, correcting herself as she glanced at Kobayashi. Even Tamayo had some restraint and tact.

Well, it was true Kobayashi wanted a bath as soon as possible. He passed Tamayo the wipes he had, and after Shiki went back into the isolation of the aisle, the two proceeded to wipe down the areas that got wet.

"...by the way, since I thought Tamayo might make a mess and cause trouble before we arrived, I have a spare tracksuit for her in my things too" Shiki finally was able to say.

"Oh. Well I didn't mind walking around naked in front of everyone, but I will take it all the same".

Kobayashi leaned in closer, and whispered so only those two could hear.

"Thanks for help disrupting the bad mood".

"Eh, you embarassed me for that?"

"I figured a cute naked boy would help. As an ace reporter, I can pick up on these things".

She puffed out her chest with pride, as Shiki began to force her to get dressed.

"Alright. Mitsuki, is everyone okay?"

Mitsuki just finished with Endo. "I need to check those two and the prez still, but considering everything, it looks like we somehow made it out without anyone experiencing a concussion or other serious injury. As such, I am going to see if the bus radio might get a signal".

"In that case, some of us should try and look for the road, or any sign of civilization. Ayumi and Reika, can we leave it to the both of you?"

"I understand Ayumi, but why Reika?"

Kobayashi looked over at Reika.

"Because in case a wild animal attacks, id like to at least have Ayumi or Yuika here. And Reika is both healthy, and maintaining her calm. And I want Junta to climb the tallest tree he can, and search from above and be a lookout. But be careful, out phones dont work so we dont have any way to communicate danger right now".

"Thats Koba for ya! Reasonable and smart! And now, lets leave the bus and stretch our legs!"

Everyone, excluding Takuma Emiyo, left the bus to absorb some outside air and sunshine. As they did, the group looked around and checked out where they were.

"I am a bit worried. We stopped in a clearing, but these trees might make it difficult for anyone to find and rescue us. However, it also means we have plenty of shelter against the wind. We have some decent ability to see any predators coming, but honestly, its not great. The trees are very thick".

"Yeah, Kobayashi-kun? I dont think climbing a tree will help much for keeping an eye on Ayumi".

"Yeah, I am noticing that as well. But maybe you will see signs of a town or other form of civilization nearby".

Junta pointed up at the two moons, as a good number of birds all flew in one direction, towards the mountain.

"So, are we just going to...acknowledge the elephant in the room? Or rather, the moon in the sky?"

Kobayashi sighed.

"I recognize that, without a doubt, we went through some sort of portal. But, I am trying to prioritize at the moment, and the second moon is not a priority".

"Then what is?"

"Getting the lay of the land, keeping everyone calm, and we will need food and water as well. And also...whatever is happening with us".

Junta looked around, and then knelt down so he was closer to Kobayashi's height.

"So you noticed it too? Yeah, I am still in shock a bit I think, but considering what just happened, we are taking it better then I would have expected. Its nothing major, but I tthink our mental strength has been boosted a bit".

"Its not just mental strength" Mitsuki said as he came over from behind. "Kobayashi, you are still feeling fine right?"

"Yes".

"Yeah, considering we were just in a bus crash, isn't that weird for you? Me and Ruki may have insulated you, but considering your weak constitution, you sure did take charge, and you haven't slowed down at all".

At that moment, Koba understood what was being said. He did a bit of a jog in a circle, stretched a bit, did a few pushups, and then stood back up. It was starting to get nice and quiet too, so with that he was able to focus better and notice it.

"...I dont feel great, but...I dont think I am going to collapse anytime soon".

"Wait, isn't that a good thing?"

Mitsuki looked over at Junta.

"Koba has poor health. He gets fevers and loses strength in his body far easier then others, and his endurance is far lower then the rest of our grade. Its not like he has to remain in bed all the time, its not that severe, but its enough to be notable. However, after the bus crash, Koba has been doing much better then I have ever seen. You didn't take any medicine yet right?"

"No, I didn't. So you think we have some sort of physical improvement as well?"

"At the very least, you do, but since we all have the mental one, I suspect..."

"Hey guys! Look at me!"

As if on cue, Riku interrupted Mitsuki. Everyone turned to see him standing on top of the bus.

"Riku, how did you get..."

Before Yuika could finish, Riku jumped off the roof of the bus, doing a backflip in the process, and landing in a superhero landing pose. He then got up and ran over to Kobayashi, Mitsuki, and Junta.

"Did you see that? Wasn't that cool? Maybe its the adrenaline or something, but I think I am stronger and have way better reflexes right now!"

"...and Riku managed to make my point completely. Thank you Riku".

"No problem! Wait, what point was I making anyways?"

"Look at Kobayashi, and think about how he has been doing lately".

Riku thought for a moment, and then his eyes went wide.

"Koba is also stronger and doing better then ever before!"

As if drawn out by the ruckus, Emiyo finally left the bus.

"Hey! Dont make so much noise! What if you attract predators?!"

"if the bus crash didn't do that, I doubt we will" Riku pointed out.

"Well, in any case...shouldn't we go and try to find the bus driver?! It might help to have an adult around!"

Kobayashi felt a bit reserved about that. Although what Emiyo was saying was true, this adult had already abandoned them once. Plus, there was something that didn't sit right with Kobayashi.

"Mitsuki, the bus has a radio and GPS system right? You are good with ttechnology, so do you think you could see if you could pick up a signal, maybe radio for help?"

Mitsuki pointed at the two moons.

"Yeah I know that, just check the whole system. Check everything, the route we were taking, compare to maps, for all we know that moon could be the new thing".

"A fair consideration".

"Reika, Ayumi, would you mind heading in the direction the bus driver went?"

As the two started to nod, Riku stopped them, and proceeded to pick up a fairly large stone.

"Riku?"

"Guys, anyone else notice that the birds have been oddly silent recently? Where did all the birds go?"

At those words, Yuika drew the kendo sword she took from her bag, and Ayumi took a defensive stance.

"Everyone, get back in the bus now".

Mitsuki, the closest, went towards it first, but an arrow suddenly shot right out of the woods. The arrow went right for his head, but Riku suddenly got in the way, blocking it with his arm. It went clean in and hurt a lot, but Riku didn't scream at all as he glared at the creatures that emerged from the woods. They were small, green, and humanoid.

"...alright Koba, ya gotta say it now".

Koba nodded. "Yeah, we are in another world alright...and we are surrounded by goblins. Riku, are you okay?"

Riku suddenly broke the shaft of the arrow on the tail side, and then yanked out the arrowhead side separately. Junta was slightly impressed, but not as much when Riku just slapped a bandaid on it.

"Much better. It missed anything important".

"No, I mean, you cant just slap a bandaid on it, and you only put it...huh?"

Junta noticed that although the bandaid was only placed on one side, the wound on the other had disappeared.

The hell? It only disappeared when the bandaid was applied...are those magic bandaids or something?

Mitsuki was equally confused, but Riku just stepped forward.

"Ya gobs think ya can just fire an arrow at one of my best friends? I'll show ya what happens to those who mess with my friends!"

As he said that, he thrusted a fist forward to intimidate them...a suddenly, a ball of fire shot out and hit the goblin archer in the back.

"Eh...Riku did you just..."

Riku then turned back towards Kobayashi.

"What the hell was dat?!?! I just went all vwoosh to send a message, and while I was thinking that I would love to get the guy that tried to do that to Mitsuki, it just happened on its own!"

"Ah, Riku did it by accident. That makes far more sense".

Kobayashi tried to do the same as the Goblins re-organized, shocked by the sudden situation. To them, they had expected these children to be a free meal, but now suddenly it looked like a fight.

However, Kobayashi couldn't make any fire come out.

"Tsk" Kobayashi said, having wanted to be helpful to others as he snapped his fingers in annoyance. Tthe moment he did, a bolt of lightning shot out from the snap and zapped another goblin. "Oh, we might not all have the same elements! Everyone just..."

Not waiting for the explanation, Yuika drew her kendo sword and attacked several goblins. Although it was a wooden sword, she seemed to possess far more strength then ever before. It wasn't superhuman or anything, but without a doubt this was far greater strength then anything ever seen before. She was faster too, it was difficult to tell at first but she was faster. The small goblins didn't stand a chance against her in close quarters.

And then, Ayumi went and just started using karate, as well as some other attacks that he had not seen before in the karate club, on them.

"Ayumi? I never saw you use those moves before. Is this also an enhacement..."

"Nah, its just karate club is only for karate. I learned several other things for real world applications, but I would never use these techniques in the karate club, as its only for karate".

I...I dont even know the difference between martial arts. I just know I never saw you do a pile driver before. Forgive me, but I dont even know the difference between karate and kung fu.

"Ah, so mine seems to be water and light! Guys, we can have multiple elements!" Mitsuki said, shooting a water jet from one hand and a beam of light from another. That said...

"Mitsuki, behind you! And also hit the enemies!"

A goblin snuck up behind Mitsuki, and tried to stab him with a sword. Riku quickly tossed a fireball into the Goblin to protect him, but another goblin came from behind. Riku dodged it, but it grazed his leg a bit and some blood came out.

Several Goblins went towards Emiyo, who was still fairly out of it. He knelt down and covered his head, and as if responding to his wish, the earth rose up and blocked the attacks, defending him. Tamayo meanwhile appeared behind them and with a pocket knife, stabbed one in the back, ending its life. They were not all that large, so she was able to piece its heart by thrusting the blade all the way in.

Another two came up from behind her while she did this, grabbing her and tackling her to the ground, trying to pull off her clotthes while holding a knife to her throat. And yet suddenly, a large flash of light stunned them, and knocked them back several meters with burns all over their body.

"Eh? What? Did my camera do that?" Shiki asked. He had taken out his camera just to stun them, but it seemed his camera had somehow managed to kill or at least seriously wound them.

Another one tried to attack Kobayashi from behind, but an arrow this time hit it right between the eyes.

"I got all of the archers!" Junta announced, standing on ttop of the bus right now to give him better view on the battlefield. He notched another arrow, and hit one that tried to throw a rock at Shiki. His arrow shrouded itself in wind, and after going through that goblin, the arrow went right through and hit a second goblin behind it.

Another Goblin with a sword however managed to hug the bus and got behind Riku by going under it. He charged out, but Endo saw that, and pushed Riku outt of the way, getting stabbed himself.

Riku quickly turned the goblin to ash, and he got out a bandaid and put it on Endo's stomach. As if by magic, the wounds recovered, but not completely this time. Riku was about to pull out another, but Endo stopped him and shook his head.

"Its almost over. Focus on the goblins".

"...alright, later then" Riku said, picking up the sword and started to swing it, except it flew right out of his hands as his grip was not good. It ended up hitting a goblin anyways, but it was entirely by accident.

"Riku, dont touch any weapons! You have not used them before!"

"R-right!"

Riku decided to heed Mitsuki's advice.

Either way, with their numbers severely dwindled, it seemed whoever was leading them called for a retreat, as all the goblins ran off at once. Riku then turned back to Endo.

"Now, let me..."

"No! Its just a bad scratch and a bruise now, we cant waste a bandaid now".

"Waste?"

Kobayashi quickly came over.

"Endo, you think we might be here that long?"

"This is supposedly something that happens only in fiction, so lets assume its a very rare occurance normally. And from that, we should operate under the assumption we may never get back".

"I see...but are you sure?"

"I am the one wounded".

Riku just looked confused.

"Um, what are we talking about?"

"Riku, how many bandaids do you have left?"

"Like, twenty. This was a used box I was carrying with me".

"Mitsuki, please get a bandaid from your medkit. I want to know if its just Riku's bandaids, or all of them. We dont know if it will work, but Endo, we need to see to know how to manage supplies properly".

Endo nodded. "Alright, thats fine then...leader".

"Eh? Me? Dontt we usually make the oldest leader?"

"Prez isn't adapting well, and the second oldest renounced it all together. Besides, you are the one who took charge, and everyone kept asking you about things, so it only makes sense you would be the leader...although, admittedly, I am not sure how well this group will listen right now. Our minds might be bolstered somewhat, but...from the looks of everyone's faces from the smell and what just happened, not that much. So I suspect you might have some difficulties, but you seem like the only one who can do it right now, so we gotta make do".

"...alright fine. First of all, everyone back in the bus. Unless you want to throw up..."

As if on cue, Shiki vommitted right next to the wheel of the bus.

"Yeah, that seems about right. Alright everyone, come on. Lets get inside, treat the wounded, and...well, process everything. We can search for the bus driver and everyone else later".

And, if we use standard templates, it may have been a large horde but if we had this much trouble against goblins, then we are going to struggle a great deal if we find anything stronger. This isn't going to be easy...

Kobayashi thought that to himself, all the while unknowing of the black winged eyeball hiding in the trees, watching them. And through it, another watched through a crystal globe in a dark room.

"It seems like they are here. Not quite what we expected, but I guess this is only the beginning then".
