Selene’s gaze burned as she locked onto her D-MECH, the Tyranno-X1—a beast of metal, muscle, and mana-engineered fury. The frame was monstrous, modeled after the thick-scaled apex hunters of ancient days, its chassis loaded with reinforced bio-steel plated down to the bone, grafted with dense pockets of sentient aura-seed. The thing looked like it could tear a tank in half. And it was hers to command. Across from her, Ennuy’s Raptor-R7 stood slick, agile, leaning forward like a coiled spring. Where Tyranno was power, the Raptor was precision.
These D-MECHs were top-tier, their mana cores alive, almost breathing. Each core held a custom mix of fey minerals and biomechanical conduit—essence channels that read their every thought. And thanks to the Monbeasticore infusion, these machines weren’t just powered up; they were part of them now. Selene’s Tyranno pulsed with residual energy from her Aurora Glow, giving it a golden glint that boosted its shields. Ennuy’s Raptor buzzed with the ghostly whisper of Phantom Black, giving him insane stealth mode and phasing abilities. Every Monbeasticore left a print, a kind of mana echo, and these two had figured out how to merge those prints into their D-MECHs, boosting power levels, response times, and sheer battle presence.
Selene took a breath, feeling that hum of power sync with her heartbeat. “Yo, Ennuy, they ain’t gonna see us comin’.”
Ennuy grinned, leaning back as his Raptor’s core thrummed in rhythm. “Nah, girl, they’re gonna feel it first.”
And then, just when they were revving to let loose, the sky cracked with a vicious scream. Out from the dark, four figures came hurtling toward them, shadows twisting in the light—the Georgina clones. Chimerafied monstrosities, each carrying a piece of Sister Georgina’s twisted soul. Georgina Two, Three, Four, and Five, each packed with some serious aura upgrades that made them look like mutated specters.
“Yo, we got company,” Ennuy muttered, eyes narrowing.
The Georgina clones came at them hard, their aura abilities spilling out in thick waves. Georgina Two was a brute, hands morphing into solid stone as she tore through the dirt, her aura morphing around her fists. Three had some kind of spectral effect, glitching in and out of visibility, leaving afterimages as she dodged and feinted. Four carried an acidic aura, her body dripping toxic slush that hissed when it hit the ground. And Five—she was the worst. Her aura radiated frost, a freezing death-trap with every step she took, leaving ice behind her like she was freezing the world itself.

Selene snorted, flipping a switch that triggered Tyranno’s armored spike shield. “Let’s give ‘em a warm welcome.”
Ennuy smirked and punched a button, shifting Raptor into stealth mode. “A’ight, let’s get loud.”
Georgina Two barreled in first, fists raised high, stone hard and gleaming. Selene sidestepped and flicked a lever, releasing a burst of energy that launched her Tyranno forward, slamming into Two’s rock fists with a crash that shook the ground. The force cracked her stone fists like it was nothing. But Two was relentless. She roared, her aura flaring as she swung again, but Tyranno’s Monbeasticore-enhanced shields absorbed the hit, flaring gold as the aura and physical force rippled against her defenses.
“You gotta come harder than that, Georgina!” Selene laughed, throwing a punch that rocked Two off her feet and sent her sprawling.
Just then, Three glitched in behind her, almost ghost-like, reaching out with clawed hands. But Ennuy saw it, swooping Raptor in like a storm wind, slicing through the air with Monbeasticore-boosted speed. Raptor phased right through Three, bypassing her physical form, then reappeared and unleashed a plasma-laced round that scattered her ghostly form across the field.
“Yo, Three, you got no game,” Ennuy sneered, watching her aura flicker in frustration.
Meanwhile, Four was closing in, her acidic aura hissing as it spread, corroding the ground where she stepped. Selene saw the danger, switching Tyranno to projectile mode. Her D-MECH launched rapid-fire energy rounds that blasted through the toxic mist, dispersing it in all directions. Four hissed and recoiled, her acid dripping down like a leaky faucet.
“Yeah, back up, slime ball!” Selene shouted, laughing as she held her ground.
But then Five was on her. Cold mist rolled in as she summoned her aura, and frost crystallized on Tyranno’s plating, freezing over the Monbeasticore-enhanced shields. Selene gritted her teeth, feeling the cold seeping through her.
Ennuy’s eyes narrowed, his instincts kicking in. He activated the Raptor’s boosters, darting forward, sending a pulse of heated energy toward Five, blasting her icy aura back. “Selene, switch out! I got Five here!”
She fell back, pivoting around as Ennuy and Raptor went toe-to-toe with Five. Each punch threw shards of ice, each dodge sent frost trailing in the air. Ennuy grinned, seeing her start to falter, her aura flickering. Raptor’s boosted Monbeasticore core pulsed, and Ennuy drove it forward with a finishing hit, cracking through her aura and sending her skidding back.
When the dust finally settled, the Georgina clones were retreating, defeated.
Selene looked over at Ennuy, both of them breathing hard, but grinning. “We made it look easy.”
Ennuy gave her a nod, the cocky edge in his smile sharp as ever. “Next time, Georgina better bring the whole squad, ‘cause we ain’t goin’ anywhere.”
