Well guys, this story isn't doing so well compared with my other story the Father of All. So I've been debating, do I drop this one and continue with the Father of All? Just so you know, it may not be dropped forever, perhaps I'll return to this one later but that is unlikely. I mean, I'm really on fire with the Father of All story, that's where all my inspiration is going currently. But to focus on that story and then to abruptly change my train of thought to fit this story is kind of hurting. Kinda... well... it is my fault for starting two stories but the concept of the Father of All was just too juicy to ignore and I was afraid if I didn't write it down immediately, it would disappear.
And if I end up dropping it, I'm sorry guys. Just so you aren't too sad, I'll give you a summary of the rest of the story. Very brief but at least you'll know how things went down.
Well, Torvus would remain as an adventurer for a few more months, fighting monsters and going on quests and the like. But the longer he and his men remained, the more they grew to be human. Eventually, only Torvus remained loyal to Morsad. The rest were dishonorably discharged by him, forced to dig out their armor cores from their bodies and surrendering all ties to Morsad. Then, three days later, he recieved the command to return to the Gate, the invasion had begun. He leaves the guild and rejoins the army, offering his loyalty to the commander of the Army, the 2nd Empress of Morsad. He fights on the frontlines and end up killing his former guildmaster and much of the guild members. The rest of his comrades are killed by his hands as well as they held arms against Morsad. The conquest of the world began and Morsadian forces slowly spread throughout the world, conquering all of the human nations without problems. The non-human races put up more of a fight but they were conquered without trouble. Once the conquest has ended, he is offered a promotion to become one of the Emperor's personal guard. He refuses, he is a soldier and he belongs on the battlefield. Later, after five more conquests of worlds, he dies, once more holding the rear of Morsad's scout forces as they retreat. He is not as lucky this time and falls, but not before ensuring that the Gate has closed. His sacrifice would not be in vain and later, Morsad returns in full force and conquers that world and goes on to conquer much more, eventually conquering all of the known universe.
