Chatper 46 Arrived at The Human Realm

As I opened my eyes, the view of open plain grass wasn't longer in front of me. It was changed into a view of the interior. I looked around, and it was like a church, but the surroundings felt like a temple. The arrangement of the seats reminded me of the church, yet there was an altar in front of it or the place I was standing right now, so it reminded me of a temple. So that's teleportation. In just a blink of an eye, the view in front of me was changed differently. We have been teleported to the altar of this temple or church place.

I asked Cera, "Where are we?"

"Welcome to the sanctuary of my master, Goddess Ainur."

Sanctuary, huh? I don't believe that's the name of this place. I thought she would call this place the temple of her goddess or the church of her goddess, but a sanctuary... That's different…

Cera led me to step out from the altar. After that, she led me to the front door of the sanctuary. Slowly, we walked towards the door as my heart and my mind prepared for what the human world was like in this other world. Is it like mediaeval time? Or is it like a fantasy theme with maybe something or some building being powered by magic or mana?

In front of the door, there were two priestesses; maybe I could call it that because I didn't know their names or their positions; however, in my world, they were called by priest or priestess. They opened the door for us. As they began to open the door, the light from the outside slowly penetrated the door's gap. When the door was wide open, I could see the atmosphere of it, and I was right. The world is like mediaeval times.

In a second, a carriage with intricate designs and patterns arrived and stopped in front of me. Immediately, Cera went inside the carriage, and I tried to go inside the carriage. The priestess behind her quickly stopped me. She told me that I was prohibited from getting inside the carriage the same as the priestess because only the priestess could get inside that carriage.

I asked her about it, so what must I do? She didn't give me any solution for this. Will I walk? However, in any second, Cera opened the door and told her priestess, "He could go inside the carriage with me…"

At once, the priestess objected because it violated the rule. Cera kept insisting on it. As they were arguing whether I would get inside or not, I didn't know what I needed to do. However, Cera finally was at her edge and opened the door of the carriage.

She went off the carriage and said, "If he isn't allowed to get inside the carriage, I will not get inside…"

It felt like I was drawn into this situation. At once, all the priestess around Cera gathered around, yet Cera was excluded and stood beside me. Seeing that, I asked her, "Why are they excluding you?"

"Because they are from the sanctuary. Myself isn't from the sanctuary; I am just a person who gains the title of the saintess. Even they see me as the saintess, yet they still don't see me as from the sanctuary."

I see, it's like a leader of the country, aka president. Even though the president is the leader of the country, the secret service around them doesn't actually obligate all the orders from the president. If the order actually has a lot of risk, the Secret Service won't follow it and object, even prohibiting the president from doing that. Cera and I were waiting for the priestesses to finish their thing for this problem.

A few minutes later, they came back to Cera and told her they allowed me to get inside with her into the carriage. Cera received it with gratitude. She began to get inside the carriage; after she was inside, I walked towards the carriage and got inside of it.

As we were roaming around with the carriage, I could see a tower that was so high that it was almost made in modern times. It wasn't that; I felt a lot of stares and pressure from the people; they stared heavily at me. Maybe because I was with Cera, the saintess, and only the saintess could ride this carriage, would make a lot of speculation about me.

As we were strolling around, Cera told me the Lord of the Realm was at the palace, the palace where every corner of the city could see the palace because it was a huge palace. Especially, the main tower of the palace was so tall that it seemed to touch the sky. I see, that answers my question, What the frick is that? Looking there was a tower that was that tall, immediately I assumed this civilisation could be like Babylonia Civilisation, so it wasn't just a mediaeval times civilisation, but there was some touch from ancient civilisation like the Babylonian period.

While we were going to the palace, a lot of stares from the people kept following us, especially as we walked towards the palace. In front of the palace's gate, which was so huge and extravagant, the guards immediately opened the door for us. Immediately, I was caught by the vastness of the garden; it wasn't just vast; the garden was full of blooming flowers with a lot of colour. Chipping birds could be heard echoing through the area. The architecture of the palace was truly remarkable, with intricate designs and towering pillars that seemed to reach the sky. As we walked through the garden, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the beauty that surrounded us.

The entrance gate to the entrance door of the palace took a few minutes. However, even without giving any notice to the palace, somehow there were already some servants in front of the door's entrance. They were all bowing deeply, a gesture of respect towards Cera. Some of them opened the door; after that, the entourage became bigger because these servants started to follow us. All of these made me nervous as hell.

I asked Cera, who was beside me, "Is all of this really necessary?"

She answered, "What do you mean by necessary?"

"I mean, is it necessary that the servants of the palace follow us?"

She immediately looked back and turned her face to me with a smirk on her face. "Well, maybe because it is you who wears that different attire, and of course there is me... Actually, I rarely visit the palace and meet the Lord of the Realm."

"Really?" That was why there was a lot of entourage. "Why do you visit him rarely? I thought the saintess would visit this Lord of the Realm frequently, to discuss about the human realm."

"Even, if we discuss it, our view of the realm will be different. I see the realm as the view from the goddess' view, but the Lord of the Realm and the other kings see the realm as their own view. So, you will know it, as you and I already have discussed or debated the goddess' view in your shop previously."

"I see. I know what you mean."

Finally, we arrived in front of another huge door; however, the door had some intricate designs and patterns. These designs somehow showed the symbol of extravagant, powerful, and luxurious. As we were in front of the door, I asked Cera, "Do you have a good relationship with this Lord of the Realm?"

"Good relationship?" She asked, and her head tilted at me.

"Yeah, I mean, there is no hate between you and the Lord of the Realm."

"Ah! I see… The previous Lord, I don't have any problem, but this one is a little bit different and unique.

"What do you me—" Suddenly, the door was opened from inside.

As the door opened, I could see a throne room with one figure sitting in it, yet some figures in front of him. Six pillars in the room made the atmosphere the room frighten whoever tried to come inside. Cera took a step into the room, and I followed her. There was an odd feeling inside the room, as soon as I was with Cera beside me, I felt light and warm. However, the room, as I could see, didn't have any of that atmosphere. The atmosphere of the room was gloomy and foreboding.

As we were walking towards the man on the throne, we passed the other people in front of the throne, however, I could feel uneasy with them. Nevertheless, their attire was like royalty to me. The man on the throne looked at us with a piercing gaze, making me shiver slightly. I believed he was the Lord of the Realm, yet his attire was somehow different and less regal than the people in front of him. The people in front of him wore crowns, but the man on the throne didn't wear crowns.
