Liz would then go downstairs and left Michael on the dresser to bring him a bowl of lettuce. Once given to him, Michael would just admire the green freshness of the lettuce and not eat it.

Liz noticed this and force-fed Michael saying “ahh” treating him as if he were a baby. Michael ate his lettuce leaving behind only scraps, Liz would go downstairs to put his plate away, afterwards, she enters Emily’s room to tell her goodnight.

Michael went limp and closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep. Liz enters the room, turns off the light and goes straight to bed telling Michael goodnight as both of them slowly drifted asleep.

The following morning Michael awoke and saw that Liz was still in bed sleeping. Michael wants to show Liz his skill but doesn’t know how, so what he does is wake up Liz by poking her with his vines.

Michael succeeds in waking her up, Liz yawns and stretches while getting up. Michael flys in front of her with his vines coming from his back, Liz immediately reacts by whispering “ What the fuck.”

At this point, Liz thinks she’s still dreaming and pinches herself (as if that ever does something). Michael feels embarrassed for some reason and floats down to the ground and puts away his vines as Liz watches in awe.

Liz excitedly picks up Michael and wakes up Emily to tell her what had just happened.

“There no way that happened, prove it.”

Michael hears their conversation and starts to fly around in circles proving to Emily that it happened.

“Well shit, you weren’t lying after all. You should make it your familiar.”

”Of course I am! Emily, can you explain how I’m supposed to do that?”

Once Michael accepted a small magic circle formed around him engraving Liz’s initials on the upper left part of his belly. 

“Ouch, that stung a bit.”

Once this transaction was complete Liz would go downstairs and get breakfast for herself and Michael rejoicing over the fact that she now has a familiar. 

Once the girls morning routine is complete they would then prepare to head out to the guild and choose a quest they could do.

As the girls decided what they should choose, Michael was just flapping his wings, flying around waiting for them to choose a quest. The quest they ended up choosing was extermination.

They accepted this quest and Emily pulled out a map out of nowhere and the location of the beast became a red dot. It was really far away so they first went to a adventurers shop and purchased multiple HP potions and MP potions and other essentials. Liz also purchased extra arrows for her quiver.

Once they did all that they set off on their quest. While on their journey Emily wondered what else Michael could do, so she asked Liz.

“I don’t know.”

“Well, you should ask him.”

“I could? Michael, can you show us all what you can do?”

Michael heard this and brought about a small ember and slowly got bigger. Michael dissipated the flame once he thought it was enough.

The girls were quite shocked due to the immense size and heat of the blue flame. Michael had never used his Sonic Shriek skill and tried it out for the first time now. 

“Reeeeeeeeee”

Michael released a large wave of distorted winds towards the trees that tore away the bark, and stopping once the wood cracked. The girls were quite impressed with what Michael had just before them.

They continued their journey to slay the Great Behemoth and would soon begin their battle that would make them regret their decision of accepting the dangerous quest.
