Alex, knowing that the person he considered his best friend for hundreds of years is no longer going to be with him, felt a deep sadness, an unfeeling loneliness and intense anger that felt like it would never fade all at the same time. However these emotions were short lived as the timer had just ran out.

With the timer up Alex disappeared from where he was standing leaving only a small house, a cave and a few empty spaces of land where some plants and statues used to be.

As the final countdown ended Alex felt a sudden warmth spread throughout his body, however this warmth didn't stop Alex from feeling the sudden wave of weakness that followed, feeling the memories and experiences he had gained over the course of a millennia fade away, he started to panic. With no one their so console and comfort him Alex felt panicked before slowly losing consciousness.

Sadly he wasn't awake long enough to hear the sudden sound of notifications echoing through the silence.

Meanwhile, In the confines of a house in Isaria the cries of a woman could be heard echoing throughout the house.

"Push Frae, push and take some breaths and push..." instructed the doctor to her patient.

A few minutes pass before the cry of a baby could be heard, the doctor handed the newborn baby over to the mid wife who proceeded to wrap the young boy and hand him over to his mother.

'What the f***! Where the hell am I? Why can't I see properly? Why can't I hear much? am I in a blanket, it's warm.' Alex spoke to himself as he wondered where he could be but all that could be heard was incomprehensible noise.

"Congratulations Frae, Hades, it's a boy. What would you like to name him" the Doctor inquired.

"He's so beautiful, I'll name him Vali." Frae spoke with as much strength as she can muster.

"Alright Frae would you please hand your son to the midwife so she can lay the boy in bed to let her cast some simple inspection spells to check for any problems. Don't worry Frae, Hades, just judging from personal experience there doesn't appear to be any problems with him but we will still need to check him for any problems, afterall it wouldn't look too good for me if the Chieftains grandson was sick under my watch." Just as the doctor finished it was Hades' time to speak.

"No, it's alright doctor, we understand." Hades told the doctor with slight worry in his voice.

"I've been in this job for many years and consider myself experienced, so don't worry about your son he's in safe hands, for now Hades would you please come with me, your wife should get some rest, child birth can be very taxing on the body." With these final words the doctor led Hades out of the room, but not before he gave an encouraging kiss to his wife and a few final words.

"Don't worry Frae he'll be just fine, he's an warrior, believe in him."

"I know Hades, I know." Frae acknowledged his words, handing her newborn son to the nurse and gave Ben one final nod before falling asleep.

The mid wife proceeded to walk to the bed next to Frae and gently lay down the new born onto his bed. As the mid wife had finished placing down the new born she proceeded to take out a staff, a warm light came out of the end of the crystal adorning the end of the staff and enveloped Vali, Frae looking at her child with worry while this is happening.

A few seconds pass before the mid wife, now knowing that there is nothing wrong with the child, proceeded to tell Fae that there is nothing wrong with the child.

"Thank you Refe, you didn't have to do this." Fae said the mid wife.

"As if I'd let anyone else take care of my nephew, I'm the best healer around as if anyone would be more qualified than me." Refe said back to Fae with a proud look on her face.

"hahaha! I know Refe but never the less, thank you." Fae said back to her sister before falling into deep sleep now reassured that there is nothing wrong with her baby boy.

"Rest well sister." Refe told to her now sleeping sister before turning of the lights and leaving room.

Vali, now away from the eyes of watchful adults, not worrying about his mother who was clearly in a deep sleep, opening his eyes all he could see was the blurry image of his surroundings.

'I guess reincarnation is real.'

A month had passed before Vali found out where he was.

"Why is everything so under developed? it's comparable to the times in the beginning of History, so primitive, something definitely went wrong with my reincarnation. Oh well! at least I know what will happen and to avoid anything or anyone troublesome." Valis thought to himself not the least bit discouraged with this new life of his.

"No matter how much I wrack my mind I'm till confused why it says locked. I'm definitely forgetting something but what am I forgetting?" Vali spent the next few minutes trying to remember what he's forgetting yet the memories kept on getting fainter the more he tried so he gave up.

"I'm sure I'll remember what I've forgotten. For now lets learn to crawl."

~ Two Months later ~

'Man, so this is the life of a baby, the literal incarnation of eat, poop, sleep, repeat. Well at least my body is strong enough that I can stay awake for longer 2 hours a day instead of the measly 30 minutes that it used to be.' Vali thought to himself while looking around his new home.

"It's a shame that my family couldn't be here with me, I'm sure with their help I'd improve faster and learn to crawl." Vali thought to himself while looking around to see if anyone was around. Seeing no one around made Val slightly sad, the feeling of something missing yet not knowing what visible on his little baby face.

"I'm home." Just as the sadness was too much that Vali would cry he heard the voice of his grandmother entering the house. Vali spent the next few minutes hearing his grandmother move around the house before the door to the his bedroom was open showing a middle aged woman with a kind smile with pitch black hair with a few streaks of white running through it.

"Ahh! come here little Val, come to grandma." Just as these words left her mouth Vali felt himself being lifted up.

"How is my cute grandson? ah you're so cute I could just eat you up." At these words all Vali could do was laugh and hug his grandmother, his grandmother hugging him back, then placing him back down on his stomach. Krohnah then proceeded to criticise Vali bedroom.

"Little Frae, Hades, you're too soft on your son. Children his age should start to be surrounded in as much knowledge as possible, a few books of everything, from magic to history to combat and character, and a few toy weapons to play with and help develop and interest in such things. Humph! I'll not allow my grandson to become soft, no matter how much I love him, in his growing and most influential stages of life he should be shown how to be a warrior. This is a dangerous world, I've told you countless times now I guess that responsibility come to me, don't worry little Vali I'll make sure you'll grow into a warrior. " and with these words Krohnah decided to change his room by adding a "few" items to help improve growing children. Spending the next few minutes on Valis room, decorating the then plain room which only had a fur covered bed, a few wooden toys and some books to a room any child, or even any warrior, would be jealous of.

Using the items she took out of the silver ring on her ring finger and some magic she re-decorated the entire room.

The plain room now had; book shelves filled with basic knowledge of war, combat, leadership, history, mathematics, magic and so on. Some small replica weapons and armours were hung, with some even embedded, into parts of the walls. A fur rug laying on the floor that Vali couldn't help himself to to get to, with his arms not capable to hold his weight Vali chose to do the next best thing, rolling.

"Now this is a room fit for a child of my lineage, a room filled with knowledge and power." Krohnah said to her self, not noticing the cute sight of her grandson slowly rolling his way over the new fur rug.

'Aahhhh! so fluffy, so warm, so comfy. If this is what I get for just being her grandson I wonder what I'll get when It's my birthday, hmmm.' Vali thought to himself while enjoying his time lying down on the comfy tug before falling asleep.

~ One Month later ~

"Finally, come on baby body just need to get up, come on you can do it." If a person were to walk into Valis bedroom they would see a little Vali encouraging himself with a determined look on his face, one that just made him look cuter than he already was while trying to hold himself up.

Only a few minutes pass before a small baby could be seen positioning himself on top of a fluffy bear rug slowly crawling around, completely forgetting about his surroundings, moving from one side of the bed to the other without falling.

'My body should have taken more time to grow before I have the strength to crawl, yet here I am, crawling one bit at a time. At the rate I'm progressing I'll be able to walk in a couple more months, I wonder why I'm progressing so quickly.'

I can finally crawl now onto walking and talking, I can't believe I even surprise myself sometimes, it should have normally taken more time to learn to walk, I guess different worlds run by different rules, and If that is what I feel like when I unlock a talent I wonder what it would feel like when I unlock a gift or ability. Unlocking knowledge will probably give me a headache.'

~ Two Months Later ~

Frae could be seen reading with Vali on the basics of magic from both her tribe and the family of his fathers.

"Our tribes magic uses ambient energy from the surroundings, this ambient energy is known as mana (though this name varies from place to place). It's considered the spirit of nature, used to conjure and control the elements to cause miracles that help improve our way of life. Many different mana qualities(how good it is) and quantities(how much there is) can be found in the wilderness. The main use of mana is in the shape of spell formulas, these formulas are made up of countless runes, sygils and shapes, each with their own meaning. You will naturally be taught magic when you're old enough, around 4-5, as this is when your magic core awakens, if you have one, but as my son and because of our family lineage there is rarely anyone not born without a magic core.

A magic core is simply the container for our mana. When you become 7 years old your cores mana should have stabilised once this happens you will be tested on what elements you have an affinity towards as well as how strong of a connection you have to these elements. These spells are graded depending on the strength of the spell, from Tier 0 to Tier 12, each Tier coresponding with a level of strength. Tier 0 spells would be used by people who Have U grade strength, Tier 1 would be used by people who Have G grade strength, Tier 2 would be used by people who Have F grade strength,Tier 3 would be used by people who Have E grade strength,Tier 4 would be used by people who Have D grade strength,Tier 5 would be used by people who Have C grade strength,Tier 6 would be used by people who Have B grade strength,Tier 7 would be used by people who Have A grade strength,Tier 8 would be used by people who Have S grade strength,Tier 9 would be used by people who Have SS grade strength,Tier 10 would be used by people who Have SSS grade strength, and finally the strongest known spells would be Tier 11 spells used by Half ascendants, and Tier 12 used by those who have fully Ascended. An example of Tier 0 Spell, the lowest class spell, " To show how mystical that magic can be Frae held her finder out in a few centimetres in front of her son and conjured up a small water bubble. Vali noticing this reached out his small hand to reach for the water, although it's not the first time he saw magic as that experience belongs to his grandmother, it is the first show of magic that he could reach for. Just as Valis hand touched the small bubble of water it wound around his fingers, turning into a water snake, before shooting towards a wall leaving a small visible hole.

"Remember Vali even the lowest, and to most, weakest spell can be changed into something deadly with enough practice."

"Now that you've seen your mothers magic It's about time I show and tell you about your fathers magic." and with this she proceeded to point her hand towards a near by plant pot within view of Valis sight and faced her palm to wards the nearly dead plant inside of it, a faint golden glow covering her hand.

"Now look towards the plant and watch what happens." Just as these words fell Vali sight shifted towards the plant. Frae noticing her sons focus then went onto the next step, covering her hand with chi she then slowly folded her ring and pinky finger and pushed forward slightly with her hand. Slowly the dead plant with fallen leaves and a dead look suddenly started to turn green and looked healthy, filled with vitality.

"This is Chi magic, it uses the life force of nature collected from the surroundings, or even from yourself to empower and revitalise others. It can be used to strengthen, heal and increase your life span. Everything gives off Chi, even when your collecting it your giving out Chi, such as trees, bushes, stones etc, everything gives off and releases Chi into the surroundings. Like magic it has a multitude of uses but only if you have both the knowledge and experience to wield it. You will start to train you Chi when you are 7 years old and no younger as this is the time when your chi points have developed enough, Chi travels through these chi points and helps strengthen the body."

Just as Vali was about to accept his rewards he heard his mother speak and decided to listen.

"You may not fully understand this yet my little warrior but I'm sure one day you will, *sigh* I should have listened to your grandmother. I never would have thought that she would decorate your room without mine or Hades permission, that woman I swear she seems more like your mother than I do, I should have expected this, "you don't just marry an individual, you marry the whole family" and when I chose the marry him I also had to accept their customs. It's a shame I can only spend a few hours a day with you because of amount of wounded there are. Damn war, why can't it end faster? It's been 7 years already. You'd have spent a lot more time with your father if it wasn't for this stupid rivalry between villages, the only time he's met you was when you were born *sigh*, I miss him." Frae told her son with a slightly sad and tired look in her eyes while holding her son.

'Now is the best time to reveal it, come on Vali you can do it.' Vali thought to himself as he looked at his mothers face, opening his mouth Vali breathed in...

"Mama!" and with these words Frae' body slightly shook.

"What!? did you say something Vali? What did you say Vali? can you say it again?" Frae asked her son, with shock on her face and expectancy in her eye. Frae looked down at her son on her lap who in turn was now looking up at her face with a smile on his own.

"Mama! Mama!" and as soon as these words came out Frae suddenly hugged her son closely, slightly teary eyed.

"I swear Vali your the only keeping me happy in these times, I'm glad I had you." Frae told her son

with a slight smile on her face, the tears no longer present as if they were never there to begin with.
