My mom's voice was soft as she sang my favorite song - The Ballad of Davy Jones' Locker and its Treasure. She sat beside my bed, her purple hair gleaming in the soft candlelight. I looked at her, my eyes were wide, swallowing every bit of the sweet melody. The stories of a secret treasure, ghostly ships, and sailing the seas have always been my favorite.

"I'm going to find this treasure someday," I told her confidently, my crimson eyes sparkling excitedly. "I will be the first one to find it."

My mom laughed and kissed my forehead. "Do you think you can do it, Senna?" she asked with a smile. "Doesn't the open sea scare you?"

"Absolutely not!" I said firmly, my arms crossed. "But I will need a strong crew! A crew that will follow me no matter what!"

My mom's eyes sparkled. "Well," she said. "Let's keep the conquering of the sea for later, my flower," she said. "Go to sleep now, and someday I'm sure that you'll be able to fulfill all of your dreams."

I smiled as she left my room. "Good night," I whispered to the air. Then I drifted off to dream of ghostly ships, the open sea, and the untold treasure that awaits.

One day. I thought to myself. One day, the name Senna Ironheart will be known to everyone in the world as the greatest pirate to ever exist.
