: The Ninth Son

Prologue: The Four Kingdoms

As we descend upon this world, the narrator's voice echoes through the lands, introducing the four kingdoms that rule these vast continents. Among them lies the enigmatic White Land, a realm where the inhabitants possess hair as white as snow and bear a gleaming white crystal upon their chests.

Chapter 1: The Ninth Son of White Land

In the heart of White Land stands a grand palace, home to Emperor Aurion and his nine sons. Our story centers on the ninth son, Aelion, a young and determined prince. Despite being a capable and loyal captain, Aelion has always been met with indifference from his father and elder brothers. However, his dedication to his kingdom remains unwavering.

Aelion’s loyalty is tested when Emperor Aurion commands him to the borders of the Rock Kingdom to subjugate the enemies threatening their land. For two years, Aelion leads his troops with unwavering resolve, earning their respect and loyalty. His efforts do not go unnoticed, and he is soon transferred to the Neutral Lands, an area teeming with legendary titans and beasts, to secure vital resources for White Land.

Chapter 2: Betrayal and Despair

Aelion, although possessing the power of lightning, is not as strong as his brothers. The emperor holds a mythical sword that can elevate one’s power to the sixth forgotten power, a level beyond today’s standards where the fifth is deemed the pinnacle. Aelion, currently at the first power level, is on the cusp of breaking through to the second.

As Aelion and his fifty troops, a loyal army forged through two years of relentless battle, journey through the mountains, they stumble upon valuable treasures. However, their return is marred by an ambush from the Mountain Kingdom’s army, led by the third prince who is at the third power scale. Vastly outnumbered and disadvantaged, Aelion is challenged to a one-on-one duel.

Desperate, Aelion sends a magical distress signal to his father. The response is devastating: accusations of treason and betrayal flood in, fueled by fabricated evidence from his fifth brother. The kingdom’s condemnation plunges Aelion into despair, but rage fuels his resolve. He accepts the duel, knowing the odds are against him.

The Mountain Kingdom warriors, masters of earth-bending, overpower Aelion. The third prince mocks him, piercing Aelion’s stomach and declaring him pathetic. Aelion’s friends, helpless against the overwhelming force, flee as per his last order, seeking refuge in the titans’ territory.

Chapter 3: The Fall and the Rise

As Aelion lies defeated, his mind races through memories of unjust accusations and betrayal. The Mountain Kingdom’s prince orders his men to throw Aelion into the Red River, a river notorious for its dangerous currents and the fierce Red Tribe that resides along its banks.

Aelion’s unconscious body is swept away, and the scene shifts to a distant land where a blacksmith forges weapons with souls and powers. Among his creations is a defective sword, discarded and forgotten. This very sword, like a shooting star, lands in the territory of the Red Tribe.

The Red Tribe, known for their brute strength and regenerative abilities, regards the sword as sacred, building their village around it. Two months pass, and Aelion, now a lone hunter, survives near the tribe’s domain. Weakened from his ordeal, he is eventually captured by the tribesmen and brought before their leader, who decrees that Aelion be sacrificed to their holy sword.

Chapter 4: The Awakening

Bound and brought to the sword, Aelion faces imminent death. In his moment of despair, the sword speaks to him through telepathy, offering him a chance to live and gain power. Conflicted but driven by the memories of wrongful accusations, Aelion accepts the sword’s proposal.

In a flash of light, Aelion is transported into his consciousness, where he encounters a massive, incomprehensibly powerful sword bound by the world’s laws. Despite its restraints, the sword bestows its power upon Aelion, elevating him to the third power level.

Aelion’s transformation is immediate and profound. With renewed strength and a sense of purpose, he prepares to rise again, determined to reclaim his honor and fight for his kingdom.
