As the newly named Loxxus awoke from its slumber, it quickly realized a big difference regarding its body.
Where before it had lots of trouble moving its body, now it feels as if it has more control, and takes significantly less effort to move.
Loxxus decided to test their body with simple movements first in order to see how much control they have. With a small grunt of effort, Loxxus pushed himself up and off the bookshelf into his first standing position.
For Loxxus this was quite momentous as despite its memories of walking it felt as if it was the first time it ever walked which was not wholly false.
Finally, Loxxus took it’s first step…. which almost led to it falling over. Then it took a slow second, then third, and fourth, and continued this process for a few more minutes until Loxxus felt more stable in its movements. Deciding that it could move fine enough, it figured that the best option was to explore.
Walking over to the strange crystals, Loxxus attempted to touch them, to then instantly back away its hand from the extreme burning sensation.
It was a unexpected thing to feel as it didn't look hot or dangerous in any way. Trying again with another crystal resulted in the same outcome.
With some of its mood now down, it instead changed to interact with the creatures instead.
It decided to touch the weird plant creatures first.
What Loxxus expected was some material like clay or a fake plant substitute, instead Loxxus had felt actual grassy plants. The material felt tough yet also slightly soft under their touch sensors almost like the real thing in their memories.
Interacting with others showed they all felt genuine and real as well!
Loxxus developed some caution at the thoughts that these might actually be living creatures which are somehow frozen, instead of just being statues. Looking at the creatures was an interesting experience, but Loxxus felt it was time to do a bit more.
Being almost fully used to the basic movements, Loxxus felt it was time to explore further as they would not glean any information from where it was.
Walking down the hall was fairly uneventful, but still quite a sight for Loxxus. Every so often, Loxxus would come upon new creatures, or a new bundle of cool goodies that it sadly couldn't touch…, But mostly it was a long empty hallway with nothing but books all the way down.
After having walked for hours, Loxxus had thankfully experienced that it didn’t need to eat, and barely any need for sleep. It did get tired, but it did so at a reduced rate.
After walking for what seemed like a day, Loxxus had finally noticed a difference in the endless hallway.
To its left, in between 2 strange blue glowing shelves with no books, was an opening that led into a hallway of pure darkness. Nothing could be seen anywhere in the tunnel as no light even pierced through it. For some strange reason, looking down that hallway had awakened some new instincts in Loxxus that had screamed danger.
Loxxus ignored these strange feelings as, despite this new phenomenon, it saw nothing else which to do in the library, and wondered if it would continue to walk on and on without a another area like this. With a mind full of newly made caution Loxxus had decided then to take the risk in exploring, as it had no other clear alternative paths to go. And so, Loxxus went into the steeping darkness, fearful yet a bit confident.
Loxxus proceeded to walk for about 10 seconds with nothing but the feeling of the bare floor on its cold bare bottom skin, at least until a small light appeared, possibly signaling the end of the tunnel. Despite only being in the pure darkness for only a few seconds, Loxxus was already done with it, and so the appearance of a light at the end of the tunnel/hall had it pushing into its first sprint in the new body. The closer it got to the light the bigger the light was, until the light had entirely blinded its vision until it was unable to see. After a few moments, the light had begun to fade away, and Loxxus had stopped only a few steps after.
Even as Loxxus ́s eyes were still adjusting from the blinding light, it could tell without looking that it had entered a place entirely foreign from either of the areas it was in previously.

This instant recognition was quite simple considering it was being battered by winds so chilly Loxxus could quite literally fill the winds ripping into its flesh, and peeling skin off even from the short moment of being there. Loxxus didn't even have much time to take in much of its surroundings after the light disappeared, as the icy winds bettering it had instantly left it looking for some type of shelter. That unfortunately proved challenging, because of the fact that Loxxus was covering both of it´s eyes to shield them, along with the heavy fog and storm in front, and around it.
Loxxus moved forward in order to see if there is any type of safety, and lo, and behold there it was, yet it seemed to unfortunately be on the other side of the snowstorm and quite far away. Despite that, it was a good sign that shelter was not too far away, yet Loxxus would have to tread through almost certain death in order to get there. Loxxus by the seconds was already getting closer to death, and so it had no choice but to move forward.
And so Loxxus walked, forward and forward, through heavy snow, and a monster storm, hoping to reach the safety that was now mostly clear in sight.
Despite knowing that it was way closer after walking over 10 minutes, Loxxus felt as if it was walking an endless path, like back in the library.
The effects of being out in the cold was too much to bear for it, as Loxxus felt like it would collapse any moment now. Loxxus could not even feel its limbs anymore. Its fingers felt like they had long since broken, and shattered. Its legs felt numb, yet the weight of its own body made it feel as if Loxxus was moving with heavy boulders attached. Its body felt numb ,and yet, a searing pain engulfed every inch of itś heavy flesh. If Loxxus looked at their body, it was sure to see bloody red skin painting it, whether from the skin that flaked off, or the intense cold messing up the flow of blood in their veins did not matter to them.
Yet with the remnants of energy still flowing, Loxxus pushed forward, refusing to let the hands of death take away its new life, and body so soon, so it went forward…..but even with a unnaturally strong willpower, the body has limits.
After a few more painful steps Loxxus´s body had reached that limit and broke down.
Loxxus collapsed on the icy ground with little damage due to the thick snow, yet, with a face full on snow, and being engulfed in it had left them even colder than before. The only good part about the situation, was the fact that the insane cold had almost fully numbed most of its body, to the point where the pain was slowly fading, though, that could also be a sign of its approaching death. With as much strength as it has left in its body Loxxus pushed itself into a position where they could at least see if all this effort even got them anywhere.
Looking up to find that they were way closer, yet still so far, filled Loxxus with many emotions. Emotions ranging from hope, sadness, anger,...disappointment and mostly importantly, despair. Despite using all the strength present in this new body, Loxxus didn't even get halfway to that cove that felt so close, yet so very far.
Despite Loxxus´s horrible state they fought the familiar tiredness closing in on them once again. It was inevitable that it would come but Loxxus just didn't feel it in them to just go easily. As the darkness began to come over their vision once more, vaguely did they believe they saw a colossal figure in the distance.
Almost fully obscured by the glacial storm that spun like, what Loxxus memories told to be, a powerful tornado, with the unknown creature at its epicenter. The storm was clearly at its strongest there as Loxxus could feel the intense force pushing it away with enough force that almost led them to believe they would be flung around.
Near this heavy gathering of winds, and ice, were many large ice crystals scattered around in random form. Almost all the crystals were extremely large, with some up to heights of probably 16 meters or so, Loxxus had trouble telling since measurements were not much shown in their memories. The ice crystals shined even in this storm with a perfect, vibrant gleam.
Next to one of the crystals a bit away from the eye of the storm, was another silhouette dyed in pitch darkness, which contrasted to the snowy setting. Besides the darkness so deep that it could even be seen through this heavy ice, and snow storm, was what looked to be too all white eyes. Eyes that when looked upon radiated immense power, yet, also a feeling of control, and warmness.
The evoked feelings confused, and drew Loxxus in as they have not really felt too many ranges of emotions. In hazy memories, they could tell that they once felt more, but grasping those feelings felt impossible.
Either way the 2 figures seemed as if they were about to battle, with the raging winds getting more furious, the pressure they were emitting suffocating, and while Loxxus could not fully see either of them completely, it could tell that they stood in front of each other like creatures named David and Goliath from its very new memories.
It was an interesting sight, one that Loxxus wished they could watch as they have yet to see any living, moving creatures.
The first creature they saw lacked the feeling of life, that they saw in front of them, and in all the other frozen ones as well.
In the last moments of consciousness, Loxxus saw in the distance, way closer, still in the distance behind the storm, the cove that they wish they could push themselves just a little more to reach. They wished to move forward for but a few more minutes, just to feel sweet, nice protection from the icy cold. They couldn´t have that sadly, or even the chance to look at the spectacle that they knew was coming.
Loxxus´s eyes fully closed, and in the same moment they heard a deep, icy, primal, roar which made them feel colder than any snow or ice surrounding them. Then the sound of violet winds, and a large boom rang out, which carried out with it a loud screeching cry that was truly bone chilling. The loud cries were the last thing heard before Loxxus fully slept in the familiar darkness.
