Rose's delicate lips touched Rick's thin lips.

Her lips rested on his for just 10 seconds.

After realizing what she had done she maintained some distance between their faces. She didn't dare to look at Rick's reaction.

Her face was red because of shyness and embarrassment, with a small smile on her lips she was looking in the other direction, with little butterflies dancing in her stomach.

She didn't regret her actions though.

On the other side, Rick was blank. His body had just frozen in its place.

Rick felt that lightning hit his body. He was not in his right mind, he needed fresh air.

He ran out of the room as fast as possible and stopped in the garden.

Inhaling air and calming his mind he thought about what just happened.

Did she really kiss me, or I'm just hallucinating??

Rick was feeling very frustrated, his fingers were entangled in his short hair.

Just then Sam appeared behind him and asked "Boss what are you doing here, weren't you with Miss Rose?"

His question irritated him even more. Thanks to his aloof personality, he can't even tell this to anyone.

If Sam got to know about it, he would laugh for hours thinking about Rick.

"Sir I got that person who hit Miss Rose, his brakes failed while riding, he lives in the town. There is nothing to worry" Sam informed him.

Rick left Sam behind and got inside with the same expression.

Sam "Did I just anger him, but I just informed him about the incident"

He got inside with a confused mind.

Rose was left in her room, confused that she might have angered him with this sudden kiss.

She tried to call him but retreated her hands from the phone "But what will I say, sorry for kissing you"

Just then Sam entered the room "How are you, are you hurt somewhere?"

"I think he is in his room. You know what, when I talked to him, he looked angry, I don't know what happened. He didn't even reply to me you see.

Such an arrogant person." Sam kept on babbling but Rose's mind was somewhere else. She only heard that Rick was angry over something and that something was a kiss.

Her first ever kiss.

Their day went like this with Rick immersed in work to avoid Rose and Rose trying to talk to him. When she asked Sam about Rick, he told her that he had gone to a meeting for his job.

Both of their nights went tossing and turning in the bed. Their mind was revolving around a KISS.

In the morning Rose decided to talk to Rick so she got up early and went to his room, she knocked on the door but it was open so she went in directly.

She saw the room was empty.

She tried to listen to any sound of water in the bathroom by placing her right ear on the bathroom door and suddenly the door opened.

Aaaahhhhh...... rose shouted as she fell

She fell but didn't feel hurt anywhere on her body.

She squeezed her eyes in fear, but then she felt something wet under her right cheek and hands.

She opened her eyes only to witness that her head was over Rick's strong chest and her hands were on either side of his muscles.

He looked at her with a confused expression, as if asking her "What the hell are doing outside my bathroom?" but he kept quiet.

Just then Sam entered the room and witnessed the scene in front of him, Rose was lying over Rick in the bathroom while Rick was half naked.

Sam's eyes flew open in shock. "Rose, Rick what are you both doing, here in the bathroom".

Rick who was already flabbergasted got angered by Sam's question. The scene of Rose over him was affecting his body differently and angered him.

To divert his mind he asked Sam, in an angry tone "Will you keep standing there, or help us get up."

Sam quickly gave his hand to Rose but because her hands were wet she slipped and fell on Rick again, the situation didn't look good. [wink, wink]

"Ohh sorry sorry," Rose said in haste and got up quickly with the help of Sam.

Rick got up on his own and since he was only in a towel Rose realized and covered her eyes with her hand.

Rick also ran to his cupboard and took out a shirt and pants and wore it quickly.

"What the hell are you doing in my room early in the morning" Rick questioned her in anger.

He was not angry over her but his mood was gloomy since he realized his feelings for her, after that kiss.

Rose who was already embarrassed got emotional and said sorry to him in a very low tone and ran out of the room.

Rick's heart sank, he realized she was hurt by his behavior.

He can't help it, he knows how he feels about Rose but he is not ready for anything like this to happen.

Sam who was present in the room watched all that happened and thought to himself "Poor girl, I thought Rick liked her and finally, anyone is there who can melt this iceberg."

Looking at Rick's behavior for the past few days Sam thought of Rose as his soon-to-be lady boss. He always tried for Rick and Rose to spend time together and to some extent he saw progress in his little tactics, but it looked like his boss would never get a girl because he always scares away all the girls who seemed to be his match.
