Dre, Razzo, Ostikous exit behind Kyro as he directs traffic for where to go in the ship so that no one gets lost behind. As they enter the big central cabin of the ship they see all the prisoners being rounded up in a circle by Seabiscuit with an energy chain and Bic with another one, with both of the Automatons blocking an exit of the ship.
Kyro exclaims: “What’s going on here?!”
“The cargo tried to escape, but we gathered them all, captain, did they overrun you?” - grunts Seabiscuit.
“No I have released them, they’re coming with me to help with the mission given from the guards, so you can put those energy chains down”.
Bic asks: “You think that’s a good idea?”
“No not really but I don’t exactly have a bevy of options. Plus they’d be good body shields.”
Seabiscuit and Bic move out of the way as Kyro directs traffic as all the different creatures get out of the ship. Kyro along with Ostikous, Dre and Razzo are the last ones in the ship, Kyro points over to Bic.
Kyro looks over to Dre and says: “Go see him and he will set you up with a new arm while we’re on the mission. If you’re in a good mood help out the rest of the crew with some repairs”.
Dre nods its head and goes over to see the other Automaton.
Kyro exits the ship and Razzo follows along with Ostikous. As they exit Ostikous stops Razzo by putting one arm on his shoulder and Razzo turns around quickly and Ostikous puts his other arm on Razzo's other shoulder.
Ostikous says in his language: “I will not forget what you did for me today and in return I pledge to you my life in servitude!”
Razzo brushes his hands off of himself: “You owe me nothing for you are free, do as you will Ostikous. No point in replacing one owner for another”.
Ostikous shakes his head: “That is a fine statement, then I will accompany you until I arrive home to take back my homeland!”
“See that’s more like it!” Razzo says with a smile.
As they exit the ship they come out to a big group of the creatures standing around grouped together. The group waits for Kyro to tell them the goal of the mission and the objective at hand, Kyro in the meantime is going over some finer details with the Froklin guards about the mission. Once they finish talking over details Kyro turns back to the team he’s assembled and spreads his hands ready to give further instruction.
Kyro starts: “So all of you have accepted to come on this mission with me in exchange for your freedom, now you’re probably wondering what sort of mission is this that is worth so much. So it’s quite simple. We will be going through a space train system to reactivate and clear a stuck train along the system. Any questions?”
The group remains silent as there’s a level of uneasiness as to what they will face in the train system as they go to retrieve the train.
One of the Zenvas a shapeshifting, weaker framed creature that is more frail and looks like a plant with a head shaped like upside-down shoe in their default form, and two eyes that pop out at the top asks a question for Kyro: “Hi I’m Jata what’s the probability of death for this mission?”
“See we don’t know that information at the moment, the last squadron that they sent didn’t come back so let’s say there’s a somewhat high probability of death”.
After this news a small murmur goes around the group as the creatures are even more unsettled by the news.
The Jata adds: “Then we should at least be equipped with armor to protect ourselves or weapons to defend ourselves!”
“I unfortunately do not have weapons for any of you” - says Kyro in an unconfident tone.
A Frok telepaths to Kyro: “Worry not, we will assist in arming your band of prisoners as long as the resources are returned upon the completion of the mission”.
Kyro rejoices hugging the Froklin while the rest of the group waits confusedly for more information and instructions.
Kyro says in an energetic tone: “Not to worry Jata and everyone else the Froklin have volunteered to arm you all to the best of their ability!”
The group stands around and waits as the guards bring various tools and equipment for the various creatures. They begin by providing armor and weaponry for the Froklins similar to that of the guards that are part of the team. After finishing equipping the Froklins they approach Urug and Razzo and begin to bring them armor as they will most likely fit into some of the armor at least for having similar anatomy.
Razzo tells the Froklins: “I don’t need this, I already have armor and a weapon” he points at the energy bracelet on his wrist.
The Froklin nods its head and replies telepathically: “Then I will give you a collar of voices, it will allow you to understand all your various comrades”

Razzo nods his head as the Froklin heads back into the barracks to retrieve the collar and provide it for Razzo. He takes off his helmet and puts it down next to the ship. The Froklin guards equip Ostikous with armor over his furry bony body, then they provide him with an energy charger around his core that also wraps around to his back. For the Urug’s four arms they ask him what sort of weapon best fits him, he tries to use his hands to demonstrate a bent sword that can be thrown and caught back. The Froklin guards don’t understand the request and create for him a double bent energy sword. He tries to re-explain what he wants but the Forklins again don’t understand the request and create a circle sword for him that spins. Ostikous simply points at the circle when the Froklins present it to him and he is still not satisfied with the result. The Froklins get frustrated too and simply provide him with retractable circular energy razor disks for his other two arms, and leave the Urug to figure out how the weaponry works for himself. The Froklin guards then move on to providing tools for the Zenvas as they were about the same height as the Froklins except with completely different anatomy. Since Zenvas had no feet and moved by their roots shifting them as many thin limbs and a thin body that didn’t really allow them to hold any armor the Froklins when in a different path of providing them with a thin stem-like exoskeleton to increase their protection while also allowing them to grow themselves in massive proportions even when they shape shift. The Wokwok’s received gravitational mineral suits built to their specifications to be able to manipulate small gravitational fields around them and increase the little beings' agility. When the Froklin guards went to the Freksteri they brought various different pieces of armor.
After a bit the Freksteri waved off the guards and told them in a low voice: “I don’t need armor, my skin is thick, almost impenetrable, bring me a weapon worthy of my stature”.
The Froklin guards looked at each other confused, then quacked a bit amongst each other and went to the end of the landing platform and removed one of the cannons that was there. Together the two Froklins barely drag the cannon over to the Fresksteri and place it at his feet. The cannon is an electricity shocker, it shoots balls of electricity at ships that can short circuit whole ships. It can also be used to electrocute creatures that get hit by its blasts.
The Freksteri says in a deep voice: “Perfect”.
Kyro wags his finger at the Fresteri and says: “Don’t be getting any funny ideas with me though, I hate dealing with teenagers…”
The Freksteri laughs: “I’m not a teenager, I am 40 cycles around my star, older than you little boy”.
“So then what’s with the cross stripes? Someone a little slow?” - jokes the captain.
Freksteri gets irritated but replies: “They will align when I find my mate…”
Kyro nods his head but stops bothering the giant and aggravating him. In the meantime the Froklin guards continue to work on providing the next set of creatures with equipment and tools. The two Acarines are difficult to equip with armor as they are massive arachnid like creatures. Except they have fur all over and the legs vary from 4 to 8 limbs, with both of these having seven limbs. That is in addition to a wooden like core beneath the furry coat. Their arm limbs are longer than the proportion of their legs but they have the smoothest wooden-like hands. Usually pretty tall between three to four meters in height, these two were females as they were around four meters tall and have two small slits for eyes on a round furry ball of a head. The Froklins decided to not provide that much armor to these two giants either as it seemed impractical to them, instead they provided their furry head with a helmet and energy gloves to preserve the hands of the two creatures. For the final member of the group the Froklin guards were hesitant to provide anything for her. Upon noticing the hesitancy Kyro waves his hands at the leader of the Froklin guards.
Kyro states with authority: “Why aren’t they bringing anything for the final member of the crew, you told me you’d supply everyone!”
“That true but see this conflict of interest for me. My people at war with Krutsummus on our planet Proxima Centauri. No wish to help the enemy of people”. - telepathically says the Froklin leader to Kyro’s mind.
Kyro exclaims: “And who exactly are the Krutsummus?!”
At this point Dre walks out of the spacecraft with a new arm that is bulkier than its other arm.
Dre overhearing the questions quickly elaborates from its database: “The Krutsummus is mix between amphibian and bird species, the shape of a pterodactyl is most closely understandable for humans but with a long tail that allows it to swim, they can communicate vocally but breaks in their voice make it extremely difficult to understand when they’re in distress, advantage for them is that they can travel through space without any aid as they don’t require oxygen. Very territorial and invasive species”.
“We are not on your planet, we are on the outpost to the wormhole gateway of this system. Now please can you put aside your quarrels and give them some tools or equipment” says Kyro while turning back to the Froklin leader.
The Froklin guard leader nods his head and waves towards one of the other guards to grab something from the barracks for the Krutsummus. The guard comes back with an attachment for the wings of the Krutsummus that attaches to its wings and allows it to throw ice shards that it rapidly can collect by either slithering or flying through the air. With the correct motion the Krutsummus can release the shards and throw them in the direction it wants. While the installation occurs Razzo takes the time to talk to Dre.
Razzo whispers: “How’s the new arm feeling?”
“Honestly better than the original, should’ve upgraded both of them” - whispers back Dre.
“Well our new mighty leader could probably help you out with that if we survive this mission”.
Dre asks: “What’s the mission?”
“To retrieve the gravity train, but the way they equipped us with armor and weapons it seems like a lot more than that”.
“You think this will be better or worse than the colosseum?” - asks Dre.
“Oh definitely worse, I at least trusted those leaders, I don’t trust this guy for shit”. (he did kidnap you after all)
Razzo motions to one of Kyro’s crewmates to come to him. It ends up being Sib that comes up to him.
Razzo tells the Automaton: “Take this helmet to the captain's quarters and place it near the bottom of the incubator where the girl rests”.
Sib looks over to the captain and tries to get the captain's attention who’s concerned with all the commotion going on between the different creatures who are all dangerously equipped and it’s up to the captain to keep them in check. Razzo notices this and touches Sib on the shoulder.
“Worry not I’m part of the crew now”
“Yeah right and I own an outpost on which I’ll retire on” - says Sib sarcastically.
“You can ask Kyro but he might get mad at you so I’m just helping you avoid that” - replies Razzo
To which the Automaton looks back at Kyro then looks Razzo in the eyes nods its head and takes the helmet back inside the ship. A few moments later the commotion of all the different creatures gets settled down. The wings of the Krutsummus get attached and so the Froklin leader and his guards take the group to the entrance of the transit system.
