"I HATE YOU, I ONLY WANTED YOUR MONEY ANYWAY...AND YOU HAVE A TINY DICK"
That was the last thing my 5th wife said before our divorce.
I knew why she was angry, why they all couldn't stand me.
I was not a good man.
"P-please...I'll give you anything, j-just let m-"

I paid speculative attention to my wives and catered to their 'necessary needs'.
Happiness, connections, status, wealth, beauty, pleasure...love.
"P-plea..P-PLEASE!"
No I guess the love was never there.
I had never felt love for women as much as plain lust. My wives were attractive but so were others.
"W-Why..a-are you doing.. this!?"
I cheated on them whenever I desired, and the women I cheated with all wanted the same thing.
A source of validation that lasted longer than the last.
"W-wha..w-what are yo-"
CRUNCHH
"ARgHHHHHHHFUUCCCK!!"
It was boredom. Tiredness. And fake.
Those were the reasons why they left me. And I didn't mind.
To me, they were an alibi. A cover that I never enjoyed nor resented. Just a trophy for others to see and compare with their own.
"F-Fuuckk...f-fuck..my a-arm"
Nothing. I felt nothing after each of them left. How could I, my wives were an insignificant part of my life, just dolls to deceive the eyes of the public. Temporary, nothing more, nothing less.
Step
"S-STAY BACK...n-no.."
It's getting late. I wonder what I should make today.
Click
"W-wait..n-no...p-please.. I c-can't..die...W-WAIT DON'T SHO-"
Bang
....
"Did you make sure to clean up"
"It's done"
"The payments been deposited, I'm hanging up"
A muscular dark skinned man disabled the Bluetooth and continued on driving in his fully black tinted car.
He reached home and walked towards the entrance of his mansion.
Once he got inside, he noticed the living room and the hallways all had lights on.
He walked towards the dinning room and heard familiar bickering.
The bickering were the ones he was familiar with, the sound of children.
As he got closer and closer to the entrance, the voices got louder.
"Hey, you think...it's that...again?"
Step
"It... It probably is...I mean he... took his suitcase with him..today..."
Step
"Shhh...he's gonna be home soon..and don't mention anything about the call, got it!?"
Step
"Yeah...today's our last-"
"I'm hungrrryy"
Step
"Shut up! Don't whine or he mi-"
STEP
The tall dark skinned man entered the dinning room and all the bickering and voices immediately stopped.
The owners of the voices all turned their eyes toward the man in the black suit and erected their backs, as sweat began to pour from some of their temples.
There was an eerie silence as the man gazed at all the eyes on him.
They were children. Five in total.
He was going to say something until one of them, the youngest one, bellowed out first.
"Papa, I'm hungryyy!!!"
All the other kids immediately glared at the toddler but quickly reverted their eyes back to the man as many of them gulped down their saliva finding words to say.
"D-Dad...I-It's okay...y-you don't... have to...cook for us...!"
"Y-Yeah..! We c-can... cook ourselves!"
The man shook his head and went into the kitchen.
All the kids followed his back and sternly shut their mouths so as not to make any sound.
Even their breathing was kept at a minimum.
All of them except for the toddler, who ran up to the man's back and grabbed his leg with his tiny fingers.
"Papa, I want chilli chicken!"
The man looked at the small child clutching his leg, and waited till the child looked back up at him.
He was going to say something, however one of the other children, a girl in her teens, quickly came and grabbed the child by his arm, and snatched him back.
"S-Sorry D-Dad... he's being dumb...W-We'll have whatever you make...us!"
"Y-Yeah...A-Anything you make...is good...No, d-delicious!"
A couple of the other children immediately nodded and said the same things.
However, the toddler protested till the last second.
"Nooo!!! I wantt chilli chickennn! Chilli chicken!!!!"
All the children immediately glared at the boy but suddenly tensed up when they saw the man looking more directly towards the toddler.
The girl flinched as she saw him getting closer and quickly let go of the toddler and took a couple steps back.
"Okay, I'll go get some"
"Yess!! Get the ones with gravy, lots of gravy!!"
The man smiled lightly as he patted the toddlers head and went back out the front door.
The children all sighed.
"Fuck..that was close"
"...Yeah, anyway stick to the plan, got it?"
All the children nodded in affirmation, except for the toddler whom was just licking his lips.
...
The children all ate chilli chicken that night and quickly went to bed after washing their dishes.
The man was now all alone in the living room, looking at his bank account on his mobile app - making sure the money came in.
Once he was sure the money was there, he tossed the phone aside and sat on the couch with a glass of coffee.
He took a sip and immediately swallowed.
Having no sense of taste, he just liked the texture of the liquid hitting the back of his esophagus.
Stolen content alert: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences.
He pulled out his gun hidden deep within his vest and gazed at it inspectingly.
He was going to clean it but his cellphone suddenly started ringing.
He picked it up with one hand and didn't answer but waited for the other person to begin talking.
"It's another hit, base is a 100k, 5 stacks, you need to reach in 3 hours- I sent you the info"
The recipient hung up and the man viewed the info that was sent to him.
The man checked the info and simultaneously started to clean his gun.
...
The children began texting each other while they were in their rooms.
[I think he'll get the call soon, what time did it start?]
[who fkin cares, as long as he's gone I'm fine with it]
[ya, we finally gonna be free]
[Stfu, this is him we're talking about - we can't be too sure]
[No, that lady gave me her word. Today's the last day with him guys]
While all the children were busy texting each other and pretending to be asleep, the toddler woke up and started heading downstairs.
'I'm hungry...'
...
The man placed his gun back within his vest and looked through his suitcase. Since there was no 'clean up' required from him for this job, he decided he wouldn't take it.
...
The toddler tiptoed his way to his Papa's car and opened the trunk with his dad's duplicate keys.
He couldn't go to the kitchen since his dad was still occupying the living room right beside it, and he knew his dad never allowed him food after midnight, so he decided to sneak into the trunk where papa usually hid more food from the kitchen until the next day.
'Heheh, chilli chicken.sspp'
The toddler laughed inwardly as he found 2 boxes of chilli chicken in the trunk, however he immediately muzzled his breath as he heard the front house door opening and closing.
'Ahhh!!'
The toddler jumped into the trunk and closed the trunk on top of him.
...
The man started the car and began driving towards his destination.
As soon as the car took off, the children who were pretending to sleep, peered out the windows and watched the car drive off.
"YESS!!! WE DID IT!"
"We really...We really did it!!"
"Hahahaha, tomorrow we'll live normal lives guys!!"
"Yeah, but it's not over yet, we have to call the detective and confirm that he left"
"I'll get the phone"
The kids all smiled and laughed as they finally were free from 'him'.
"You know, I'm actually gonna miss Dad"
"Hah, nice lie, you were the one who was scared of him the most"
"Hahahaha you're right, I was kidding, who wants a criminal for their dad"
"Yeah, alright I'm gonna call her-"
"GUYS!"
All the kids turned back at the teenage girl.
"I-IT'S RICKY...H-HE'S GONE!!"
The children's faces immediately turned pale and a sickening feeling welled up from their stomach as some of them realized what had happened.
"He...H-he didn't sneak in again...did he?"
"Fuckk... he must have"
"I-I'll c-call the detective and t-tell her!"
...
It had been 2 hours and the man in suit was still waiting for his 'hit'.
'Is it a detour?'
He was in an abandoned building.
There was an eerily emptiness surrounding him, however the man didn't mind.
The super natural was not something that ever crossed the man's eyes.
Just as the man was about to take a step.
BANG
A bullet shot at his feet.
'A warning s-'
"PUT YOUR HANDS UP!"
'I see...a set up'
The man put his hands up and gazed left and right at lightning speed trying to gauge the enemies numbers.
Armoured men began to come out of hiding and he eventually heard the sirens of police cars and a swat team approaching him.
"KEAGHEN LUKE, WE HAVE A WARRANT FOR YOUR ARREST, NOW TURN AROUND AND WALK BACKWARDS TO US"
Keaghen smirked and turned around as he said however he didn't walk backwards.
"I SAID WALK BACKW-"
BANG
Before anyone knew what had happened - a bullet had pierced the skull of the announcer.
Everyone's eyes immediately fell on the announcer and then rushed back towards their target, however he was - gone.
CRUcNCH
Another body just collapsed.
CRACnHcCH
"ARGHHHHHHhGGHhHHH"
Another soldier fell down as he was shot in the neck.
The swat and police didn't know where he was and it looked like a ghost was just downing their men one by one.
"F-FIRE AT WILL"
Suddenly many soldiers started firing towards one side of the forest, where they had previously seen the man.
However.
Step.
Bang.
"ARgHHHFUCKKk"
Step. Bang. Bang.
"HUAHBbhBHHhHHH".
Step. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang.
"ARGHHHhHhHGGhHhHHHHHHHHHhH"
The men continued to fall one by one.
Not even knowing where or even how they were killed - they just continued to fall as their body's were drilled with holes and their eyes became lifeless.
Eventually the screams of the many men died out until only the inhale and exhale of their breaths reverberated in their heads and the ringing of their hearts resounded to their ears.
"NORTHWEST. HE'S THERE!"
The swat soldiers and police force immediately aimed their sights in that direction and started spraying their bullets.
However, there were no sounds of screams or anything they heard.
They kept shooting and slowly expanded the firing range gradually until a whole minute had passed.
Many of them needed to reload, while the ones still firing gradually decreased their rate of fire until the others had reloaded.
It was until then.
A shadow.
A shadow that was going at a devastating speed towards them in a zig zag that seemed to have no pattern.
It was like an eel slithering through the grass.
Until, the shadow stopped right in the middle of all the soldiers, in a crouching position.
It was only for a split second but the soldiers saw 'him'.
The man in the suit. The man responsible for the deaths of thousands and their comrades.
The soldiers whose ammos had been reset immediately picked up their guns to fire but they hesitated as they saw their comrades on the other end giving that same look of hesitation towards them as well.
One of them didn't care and fired, ultimately killing one of his own.
This caused the police force to panic and begin shooting as well, as the swat tried to tell them to back down.
However, it was too late.
The battle now became a battle of survival of the fittest.
The man in the black suit continued zig zagging through the field, sliding his feet across the ground in an unhuman-like manner and killed off soldiers at an unprecedented rate.
"FUCK. FUCK. FUCK!!"
"SHI-STOOP SHo-ARGHSHIT"
"A-AHHH DONT TOUCHH ME"
Eventually the gunfire ceased and and a blurry of smoke lay there whistling in the area.
By now reinforcements had already arrived and were just gazing at the scene that had just unfolded before them.
A demon. A thought spread through everyone's mind.
This man in front of them was a monster in human clothing that killed anything it touched.
Behind the reinforcements was a detective with a group of children whom all looked terrifyingly on at the devastation.
The female detective hugged the children and told them everything would be okay.
But the children kept on screaming Ricky's name as tears streamed down their faces, as some of them began hyperventilating.
As the kids continued crying and yelling Ricky's name, they suddenly heard a familiar yell behind them.
"Geez, why are you shouting, I'm right here!"
Suddenly the kids hugging each other immediately looked towards the voice and there he was - it was Ricky.
"Ricky!!"
"RICKY"
"R-RICKY!!!!"
"YOU IDIOT!"
The children all ran towards Ricky and embraced him in a bear hug, as they all began crying once more and mixing their snot with Ricky's face.
"Ewww, why are you guys cryi- ahh hey, stop rubbing my cheeks!"
The children all began laughing soon as Ricky threw a tantrum.
The female detective looked on smilingly at the warm site-
Step.
But the smile didn't last.
The detective immediately turned her head around.
All the soldiers erected their backs and concentrated their aim.
The children all gazed sickeningly at the silhouette, a shadow, emerging from the dust mushroom of smoke.
Step.
A hand came out.
Step.
Then the arm.
Step.
Then the chest.
Step.
Then the legs.
Step.
Then the face.
The soldiers, the detective and the children all stood there unable to move - petrified in their soles while gazing at the man in front of them.
He was surrounded by at least a hundred bodies laying dead on the ground and there wasn't a single wound on him - not a single scratch.
The man looked at the eyes of the soldiers and smiled, showing his k-9's that drizzled a tiny fluster of blood.
That was enough to stun the soldiers speechless as their bodies remained etched in place and their body hairs stood on end.
For they knew the future in store for them.
This monster had killed a hundred soldiers like it was nothing, and they were a measly group of 10.
It was like a goldfish trying to fight a whale.
It was-
"It's impossible.."
"We're gonna d-die.."
"Fuck"
Step.
"Hiiiikk"
Bang.
A soldier shot in panic as the monster in human skin started moving.
"What are you doing?! Fire!!!"
Soon the bravest of the soldiers screamed and the soldiers all started firing but-
Slash
CRUNCHH
Swisshh
The heads of 4 of the soldiers flew off.
While one of the heads was in that man's hand, gripped so tightly that the man's skin started to peel off.
"A-AhHHhHh"
"F-FUCKK THIS"
"H-HEY WAIT STOP RUNNING-"
Bang.
Bang. Bang.
The soldiers that ran away were shot down with a single bullet as they plummeted to the ground.
There was only one soldier remaining. He was the brave one who had yelled to shoot.
However, he had already gotten shot in the arm and abdomen, and was quickly losing blood.
The man in suit looked at him with his piercing jet blue eyes.
'I'm gonna die...here', the soldier thought to himself and relaxed a little to get comfortable for the inevitable.
The man in suit pointed the gun to his head-
"P-Papa...?"
The man in suit suddenly turned around and his iris' shrunk in bewilderment.
"Ricky...!?"
The man in suit stumbled for the first time in years in the battlefield.
'What is he..'
"Why are you...holding..a gun...Papa..?"
The man in suit opened his mouth but no words came out.
He just looked at Ricky as tears came out of the boy's eyes.
A sting of electricity pierced through his heart as he saw the expression of his youngest son.
Step.
He took a step forward, but then-
"RICKY!!!!"
"DON'T FUCKING TOUCH HIM!!!"
"RICKY, COME HERE!!
"I-I'M H-HERE N-NOW, I-IT'S OKAY R-RR-RICKY"
All his sons and daughters came and held Ricky in their arms, embracing him while giving glares at their father - at him.
All of a sudden 5 patrol officers and a female detective came rushing and pointed their guns at him.
The detective's arms were shaking and the officers were millimetres from shooting.
The man looked at the officers.
He could smell their fear from here, anyone that looked at him felt that way.
He looked back at his kids and gritted his teeth, and looked back at the officers.
'Right, I'll kill them and then we can all move to somewhere-'
"Mrs. C-Celine, p-please p-protect us...!"
The teenage daughter screamed at the detective.
The female detective immediately stood in front of them and held her gun up and fired at the man.
All the officers fired at the same time.
It was slow. All the bullets looked like they stood still to the man as he easily dodged.
He could have killed all of them by now but something seemed off to him.
He was thinking and everything began to fit into the puzzle.
His daughter yelled that detective's name. Why there was no target today. His kid's talk at the dining room.
It was his kids who set this up.
They wanted to be rid of him.
They didn't want him in their life.
They hated him.
He mashed his teeth and a surge of anger pulsated inside him.
He shot.
"ARGHHHHHhHgGhHH"
He shot.
"sHItTT MY HAND!!"
And he shot.
"ARGHHFUCK"
But he missed all of the officer's vital areas.
He was thinking.
'I can kill all of them and then take my kids some place far away...but...afterwards...
'...They would call someone else to ambush me...Then I would kill them...then take them someplace far away.... and they would do it ..again...'
"SHIT OUT OF AMMO"
"COVER ME!!"
'Again, and again and again...'
'It would never end, nothing would change... The cycle would never stop'
All the officers were on the ground, none dead but all wounded.
'There's no point to this'
Only the female detective lay between the man and his own children.
The children were whimpering behind the female detective and the detective had bullets but she couldn't move an inch of her body, even as she gazed at the monster in front of her.
Step.
Goosebumps spread throughout her entire body as she couldn't move as if in a trance.
Step.
She wanted to tell the kids to run, to run for their lives and not look back but nothing came out.
Step.
This was it. It was over.
The woman looked in front of her as the man stopped. He slowly lifted his arm and dropped the gun in his hand to the floor.
'Huh?'
The man walked to her and held her hand, which held her gun, and positioned it towards his head.
'Wha..'
The detective looked at the man's eyes.
The kid's looked away from the scene in fear.
The soldier looked in curiosity.
Ricky looked at his dad as he held the woman's gun towards his own head.
"Papa..?"
The man smiled.
"There's more chilli chicken...in the fridge"
Bang.
The father of five and divorcee of five - was dead.
