When i woke up this morning i found myself at a forest opening. I can hear bird chirping and bug sounds and even beast cries so it really a forest. But how can i wake up in this place? I remember sleep in my apartement yesterday after drinking with co-workers. Did somebody has grudge on me, abducted me and threw me to this forest? Hoping me to be eaten by beast? Surely not ... probably.

Argh... my mind can't think of reason why i am here. Thinking something that has no answers is not productive. For now let's say this is dream, one that feel so real. Strolling in the forest doesn't sound so bad.

"... and 5 hours pass like that"

There is limit how real dream can be. I feel hurt when i stumbled on rock, i even feel hungry right now. No matter how slow i think, i know it can't be dream. So someone did throw me to this forest. Who? Is it the Landlady? Because i late to paid my rent last month. That woman sure is scary one. Probably, she involved in shady business and use her shady network to banish me to this woods.

Grrrr...

"That one big sound my stomach makes. Is there any fruits to eat?"

I stop myself from bad mouthing my Landlady when i hear my stomach grumble. For now my objective is to find foods to eat. But walking a long distance , i can't find fruits that i know. What i found just strange looking fruits, fruits that look like hedgehog, fruits that shaped like cresent moon, or fruits with odd colors. I'm not brave enough to eat strange fruits, who knows what happens if i eat one.

Let's give up looking for fruits, and hunt animals instead. But looking back to fruits i found earlier, i doubt i can find normal animals here. No, no, stop being worried over small things. First i equip myself with small branch with sharp end. But to fight unknown beast is reckless things to do. Our ancestor develop wonderful tools called traps, why i'm not using those to hunt instead doing it manually.

Fu..Fufu..Fuahahahaha.. i found myself letting out evil laugh after installing traps at bushes. I hid myself in opposite bush looking at the traps. 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 2 hours pass but no animal comes. No... there is one small animal approaching the traps.

When the trap triggered i run at full speed and smack it with my branch. After few beating and ending with a gruesome scene, i feel a surge of power entering me. Maybe it excitement for getting food. I decide to not mind that and looking at my prey. It was rabbit with a horn, Horned Rabbit ! i knew it, this forest have strange creatures in it. Nevermind that, i secured my prey fast, drain its blood, and leave the place quickly before dangerous beast come smelling blood.

Earlier this morning i found rock formation with a good hollow space, thus i decide to having this place my shelter. Having back to shelter, i begin to skinning the rabbit. I must thank my father for taking me hunting and teaching me how to skin prey when i'm young. Even lighting up fire without necessary tool not a hassle for me.

"Ah... i miss salt and pepper so much"

Those lifestyle has been continued for over a month, i begin to miss human interaction at this point. After this time living in the woods i discovered some things. First this place is far different from forest i know, at least this place is unknown region of Earth, worth case this place is not even on the Earth. I know this from how different the vegetation and inhabitant of this forest. I have not meet stereotypical fantasy creature such as slimes or goblin yet, so i still hoping this is someplace on earth. Second, everytime i kill animal and beast i feel surges of power and growing powerful, but lately it become more rare.

Following these facts it somehow more and more similar development with those novel i read back at my school days. Deep in my heart i wish for those development. I mean, its a man romance to go through such fantasy.

"oh its noon already, Its time for hunting meats !"

Lately i'm not relying on traps anymore. Knowing my power grow i find hunting on my own more effective than waiting for prey fall to traps. Equip myself with makeshift spear and dagger from a big horned wolf horn and fang, i walk to my usual hunting spot. Looking at a car-sized boar at distance i decide on my prey.

Creeping to bushes near the boar, i prepared my spear. After find a chance, i leap to back of the boar stabing my spear at its neck. I am keeping my distance from trashing boar looking for chance to finish it. i charge myself to the boar and slash it neck. Having it necck slashed open the boar stop moving and let out it last breath. A second later i feel the surge of power again.

"It comeeee......!"

I can't get enough of this refreshing feeling from it. Having calm down from the excitement of it, i bring the boar carcass back to my shelter.

Having back at my shelter i plan to disamble the boar but i feel something off. There is a chest that doesn't belong here. Wait, i thought that i am the only human here. I have not meeting other for this past month. How can a chest suddenly appear here. When curiousity get the best of me, i open the chest just to find a beautiful gem and a note.

Hello, believe it or not i am one of those you called goddess.

I'm sorry for a late explaination but you have been transfered to another world. You know~ in this world there is a being called himself Demon Lord(lol). The human kingdom ... Ah it a hassle to explain everything so basically you summoned to become hero but the god who bring you here not doing his job right and being scolded by his boss. He not giving you blessing and not even remember where he sent you. So heaven having trouble reaching you thus we can't support you throughly.

And ... here i am going to giving you starter-pack-for-summoned here ... is what heaven planned. But you know~ it such a pain to bring you to that white space and explain everything. And i forget to resupplied my starter packs!
