Argust looked towards his wife admiring her long auburn hair flowing down her back as she stared out over the horizon. He could not think of any other choice he would have made than to pursue this path with her. The life she led toned her body to steel, but she was still quite slender. She was the prime example of what a Blade Maiden aspired to be. She was strong, intelligent and graceful. To follow this path, both she and Argust had to fully commit to each other.
Aliyena noticed Argust eyeing her and she strode over to him and placed her hand on his broad shoulders. Argust was built like a creature of legends. He was 8 feet tall, and his bulky body was just as toned as Aliyena’s but it was more dense and stronger than a mountain. His strength was unmatched in the entire sector. While he might be the strongest living being in this sector it matters not, in part thanks to his oath. The oath of the Sacred Forgemaster and Blade Maiden.
As they swear themselves to each other, the Forgemaster swears to only use his strength to gather materials and metals to forge his Maidens’ weapons. In exchange for the limitations set upon the Forgemaster, they are granted immortality. The only way to kill a Forgemaster, is by killing his Maiden. This is the sacrifice that Forgemasters have made, they have put their entire lives in the hands of their Maidens. The ritual is Known as the Bond of Blades, the pair will then be known as a Bonded Blade once the ritual is complete. One to forge the Blade another to wield it.

There is only one way in which a Forgemaster can start fighting, the only condition for that to happen is if the tradition is broken and Elorin is invaded. Part of what makes this planet so special is that they are considered the Protectors of Fiona Sector named after an Ancient Blade Maiden.
The legends say Fiona grew too powerful and left the sector to seek out someone worthy of her Legacy. It was believed that she wanted to pass down her techniques and abilities to another but felt no one on Elorin was strong enough to deserve her Legacy. This was the first time Elorin was ever attacked and was the discovery of the Forgemasters strengths.
Everyone always thought that the Blade maidens were the real threat and so with the most powerful Maiden in the sector gone, a group of powerful Astro mages attacked the planet. They resided on one of the nearby planets Algron. They were a powerful group that studied space manipulation magic and saw this as an opportunity to pillage the planet that held the richest resource deposits in the sector.
There was a special natural mana that occurred in Elorin that created these rich deposits needed to nurture the Forgemasters’ strengths. Thanks to the intense exposure of this Mana, the Forgemasters bodies were extremely resilient to any outside magic that was used against them. Once attacked the Forgemasters and Maidens were easily able to crush the Astro Mages and the defeat was so brutal and one sided that not a single outside force had ever challenged Elorin again. With their clear supremacy in strength over any other planet in the now named Fiona sector, the Fiona sector peace treaty was signed. Elorin then promised that if any entity in the future would attack any planet in the Fiona sector, they would come to their aid.
