An older design originally used to defend against fighter attacks, later they have been used in two main styles by security companies and less well equipped systems. When not operating from a station often a pack is based off a tender.

And ones armed with large amounts of missiles or a heavy cannon used in a pack to take on capital ships.

Caring fighters and bombers or ground assault shuttles, special Carriers also serve as the fleet ground assault transports.

Dreadnaught’s are the Titans of the battlefield; the extreme cost and exotic resources make them prohibitively expensive for all but the great powers.

They serve as the Ironclads of the modern era able to shrug off all but another Dreadnuaght.

No power has been willing to risk that engagement yet.

Terms:

Allerium: a type of liquid fuel that allows shuttles and fighters to have a much higher acceleration than major ships with the trade off requiring fuel

FRL-39s post war battle rifles not current model but still modern (think present day g36, FAL, AK-47, or pre m4 M16’s)
