Former outlaw Skye Alnasi is a woman of few wants—freedom to roam the galaxy, lucrative opportunities for adventure, and, most importantly, a stiff drink to top it all off.  Caught up in events she doesn’t comprehend, Skye and an eclectic band of unwitting companions find themselves stranded in an unfamiliar part of the universe and hunted by the authorities.
