Magic doesn't work with some sort of supernatural element like the famous 'Mana'  of the games, or with the help of other equally supernatural spirits that work for you but are in ethereal form like some other novels, magic is simply an utilize of physics without any external intervention, just a movement of material and particles or atoms in some type of magic. 

The fire magic is a special type of magic different from the other because it work with the moviments of particle inside the targeted piece of matter.,and the power of your 'Magic'  give you a limit of range, power and precision of the movements that can give you a range  of different temperatures. If you enough magic power to slow down the particles instead of accelerating you can utilize Frost magic. Frost magic is wrongly know as a sub type of Water magic but is instead is a type of Fire magic. 

Water magic is simply the movement and manipulation of the material at some degree when it is  in his liquid form, with space between the particles not at the point of gas but still more than the solid state, the 'Magic' power in this case give you a range limit, and how much liquid you can move, the third limitation is different from the fire magic, and it is how much movement you can do. A sub type of Water magic is KI manipulation, although in some countries it is not thought as magic, but KI is still a type of liquid and can be manipulated. 

The wind magic is like the water magic but work with gasses like air and water vapors it have the same limits of water magic. A sub type of Wind magic is Motion magic that utilize the air to move and minimize the attrition. 

Earth magic like the water and wind one work in the same basis of movement and limitations but instead work with solid mater. A sub type of Earth magic is Construct magic that utilize the propriety of materials to build from houses to armor and all that is solid. 

Various sub type of magic can be found in those that have talent in 2 or more type of magic, like Life magic that is made by Earth and Water magics and consist of modifications in living bodies, or Space magic that is made by Earth, Wind and Water magics and consist in having full control in your range of magic

In my ereditary  memories I found that magic is not what I thought was. Although this helps me as I still retain some memories of studies of physics and chemicals from my past life.
