Lucas was only twenty but had taken on the role of a father for his four- year-old sister, Emma. Their parents had passed away years ago, leaving Lucas as her guardian. Together, they moved into an old house in Morrow’s Hollow, a small town famous for its tales of ghostly apparitions. With little money, they had no choice but to settle in this creaky, shadowy place.
Their only solace was Cleo, their lovely tuxedo black cat, who never seemed to mind the eerie atmosphere and would curl up by Emma every night. Lucas took Cleo’s calm as a good sign. After all, animals were supposed to sense things humans couldn’t.
One foggy evening, as the sun dipped behind the dense forest surrounding their home, Emma tried to say something to Lucas who was keeping an eye on the road.
“Ghost lady” Emma says, and she pointed somewhere.

“Hmm?” Lucas asked.
“Ooh Ooh” Emma pointed frantically.
“Emma stop it or I’ll have you sit in the back” Lucas said. He didn’t mean to be snappy but he has been through so much. And for once he had a lucky break.
A tiny house for them, Lucas grabbed their stuff and despite smelling like old wood, this place could be their now home.
During a stormy night Lucas has trouble sleeping he rises from the bed. Cleo was sleeping next to him, Lucas rubbed Cleo’s fur and she stretched in response. strange she usually sleeps in Emma’s room.
Lucas ears perked up when he heard a voice.
“Go away, Go away” Emma says as Lucas carefully walks down the stairs.
“Who are you talking to Em? “ Lucas asked.
“Ghost lady” Emma says. And Lucas feels cold chills run over him. He grabbed Emma’s arm and moved her away from the door. Closing it.
Emma went on her knees trying to look through the gap of the door.
“Go away, Go away” Emma said.
“Emma stop this right now” Lucas ordered and locks the door, he then went to the living room to see if everything is locked.
But then the light bulb starts to flicker and in the distance Lucas heard a woman crying, it becomes louder.
“Where is my baby?”
