CHAPTER 735 COMING TO TOWN

Chapter 735 Coming to Town

Natalia nodded.

Therefore, the two headed back for the car.

Nancy, who had caught Natalia's hint, thought that Natalia would find a chance to take down the older

man. When she came back, she would help her subdue the younger one.

Hence, she waited anxiously in the car.

But to her surprise, Natalia didn't come back alone. The older man was still with her!

Nancy was stupefied. For a moment, she thought she had interpreted Natalia's hint wrongly.

Seeing that they came back together, she was once again at a loss about what to do.

"Should I do something or keep waiting?"

"Did something unexpected happen on their way?"

Nancy just sat there, looking dumbfounded.

Natalia felt helpless, too. She stealthily gave Nancy a wink, who instantly cottoned on and didn't ask

any questions.

Natalia climbed into the carriage. Seeing them come back, the younger man warmly greeted Felix.

Surprisingly, Felix responded with a fluent native dialect. Before Natalia found out he was Felix, the

way Felix talked didn't bother her.Content © copyrighted by .

But now, she was weird out by that.

She felt very uncomfortable.

Nancy was worried sick at the sight of Natalia's complex expression.

After all, the two had racked their brains to come up with this plan.

If they didn't run away now, they would be sent to the base of the outlaws once they entered the town.

What should they do then?

Thus, after the door was closed, Nancy couldn't help but grab Natalia and ask in an undertone, "What

happened? You failed to knock him out?"

Natalia sighed helplessly.

The story of Felix disguising himself as that man's older brother was too complicated. She didn't feel

like revealing the truth in case the other man in the front overheard her.

She knew that the three of them could easily take down that man.

But since Felix had disguised himself as that man's older brother, he must have his own plan and

purpose. Thus, Natalia didn't want to expose Felix's identity.

On that account, she didn't say anything but shook her head in resignation and wrote a few words with

her fingers in Nancy's palm.

"Be patient. Things changed."

Nancy was taken aback. She didn't quite follow her.

Natalia couldn't tell her much right now. She only nodded at Nancy, indicating that they were safe and

she didn't have to worry.

Nancy furrowed her brows.

Though she was still at a loss, as Natalia already made it clear that they were no longer in danger, she

had to believe in her.

Thus, Nancy didn't press her to explain further.

After about another half an hour of the bumpy ride, they finally came to town.

Once they entered the town, Natalia sensed that the road had become even.

It was half-past six in the morning. Some breakfast stalls could be seen on the sides of the street.

As there was a morning market, this place was filled with farmers crying out their wares and purchasers

haggling over the price. It was quite a hubbub.

This was the first time Natalia heard such a clamor since she arrived here. Her heart, which seemed to

have been frozen for a long time, started to throb again.

The remote mountain she stayed before was picturesque. But after living there for a while, she felt

lonely and depressed because not many people were around.

Now she was in town, she felt that she was back alive.

Natalia wanted to see the town. But the door was closed, leaving only a thin sift for air to go in. She

couldn't see anything from there.

Then, she heard the younger man's voice.

"It's morning now. Let's go back home and have some breakfast. Leave the girls in the left room.

Tonight, you pick one as you like, and I'll take the other."

He said that in English, the official language here, so Natalia and Nancy understood every word.

The two felt rather speechless.

What was more ridiculous was that Felix actually agreed.

"Sure. I'll take the one that talks less."

The younger man was instantly elated. "Really? Then I'll take the more talkative one."

Natalia and Nancy were both bereft of speech.

Natalia could even picture Felix's wicked smile when he made that reply.

She was so miffed! Yet, she had to keep a smiley face.

Nancy didn't know that man was Felix, so she was deeply worried. But when she saw Natalia's

perfectly composed face, she reckoned that things might not be like what she had imagined.

This town was not big. But it had a large population, and most people lived in the central area.

On the way, Natalia heard the younger man hail many people passing by. He seemed to know a lot of

locals here.

The car headed forward for another half an hour and finally pulled up.

The two men jumped out. Then, the door at the back was opened.

Next, their smiling faces appeared.

"We've arrived. You can get off."

Natalia and Nancy looked at each other and tacitly obeyed the instruction.

Since Nancy's leg was injured, she couldn't walk on her own. Therefore, Natalia supported her along

the way.

The younger man offered to help Nancy several times. But Natalia and Nancy tactfully turned him

down.

He perhaps had never been around any girl before. He was sort of all thumbs when he was around

them.

Thus, though they shunned his help, he didn't take it to heart. He figured it was because he lacked

experience in this kind of stuff. Along the way, he laughed foolishly at himself like a big boy.

Natalia didn't expect that the evil trafficker would also have a cute side.

After they got off the car, they saw a plain-looking country house ahead.

The house had two floors and three rooms. It was not too spacious, but not small either. Thankfully, the

house was clean, so it looked quite nice.

The four went into the house together. Natalia and Nancy were escorted into one of the rooms. Then,

the younger man went away because Felix asked him to go out with him.

Thus, Nancy and Natalia were left alone in the room.

Nancy had been stifling her curiosity for too long. Now the men were gone, she immediately started to

pose questions.

"What happened? Why didn't you stick with the plan? Now we're in their base, how can we escape?"

Seeing her being this overwrought, Natalia laughed at once.

She shook her head and said, "There is nothing to worry about, because we've run into an old friend."

"What old friend?"

Nancy still had no idea that the older man was actually Felix.

Thus, Natalia told her the truth.

After hearing the story, Nancy widened her eyes in dismay.

She never even dreamed that things would turn out like this.

Natalia said with emotion, "We're safe for the time being. Later, I'll tell Felix to go out and contact

Archie. You stay here and rest. As long as we get in touch with Archie, we'll be completely safe."

Nancy nodded vigorously.

About half an hour later, Felix and the younger man returned.

They also came back with a solid meal.

It turned out that they went away to buy breakfast from the food stalls on the street.
