Chapter 11:-New car..

Li Feng emerged from the mall, his shopping bags bulging with new clothes. Despite the nearing afternoon sun. The initial excitement of buying a car had faded; his available funds, even with the windfall from the system bug, weren't quite enough for the luxury vehicle he initially envisioned. Yet, the newfound wealth had planted a seed of desire – the desire for his first car.

He had already done his research online, browsing through various models and features. With a newfound purpose, he headed towards the designated parking area, where the ever-attentive driver waited with the sleek Audi. As Li Feng approached, the driver rushed out to relieve him of his shopping bags. A simple "thank you" was exchanged before the driver stowed the bags in the trunk.

Settling back into the luxurious interior, Li Feng instructed the driver, "There's a Honda car showroom nearby. Could you take me there, please?"

The driver, ever-reliable, simply nodded and started the car. The Audi glided smoothly through the parking lot, navigating its way towards the showroom. However, moments before arriving, Li Feng surprised the driver again.

"Actually," he said, "could you drop me off just before the showroom? Why don't you take a break and grab some lunch? No need to wait here."

The driver, a man of few words, readily agreed with a silent nod. He pulled over near the street, allowing Li Feng to exit. Li Feng instinctively reached for his phone, intending to transfer some money for the driver's lunch, but his offer was politely refused with a shake of the head.

With a smile, Li Feng bid farewell to the driver and approached the Honda showroom. He knew the drill. Despite his newfound riches, his appearance still screamed "ordinary" to the salespeople.

They were engrossed with other customers, oblivious to the potential high roller disguised in a simple outfit. Li Feng, however, didn't mind. He browsed the showroom, his gaze scanning the various models.

Li Feng, after carefully considering the various models, finally set his sights on the Honda Civic Touring - the top model with all the bells and whistles. He strode towards a counter where a salesperson, oblivious to the potential customer standing before him, tapped away at a computer.

Li Feng cleared his throat, breaking the man's concentration. "Excuse me," he said politely. "I'd like to buy a Honda Civic Touring – the top model with all the available accessories."

The statement hung in the air for a moment, causing heads to swivel in his direction. Salespeople who moments ago were busy with other customers now sent curious glances his way.

The initial dismissal of Li Feng based on his appearance was quickly replaced with a mix of envy and disbelief. This seemingly ordinary young man was about to make a significant purchase, and some of them were missing out on the commission that would have come with it.

The counterman, finally registering Li Feng's words, straightened in his chair. "Certainly, sir," he said, a hint of forced enthusiasm in his voice. "Let me pull up the details for the Civic Touring."

Li Feng, unfazed by the sudden shift in attention, exuded an air of quiet confidence. He wanted the car, and he wanted it fast. "Perfect," he replied. "I would like to complete the purchase within thirty minutes, if possible."

The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

The counterman's eyes widened slightly. A thirty-minute turnaround for a high-end car with all the accessories? It was unusual, but not impossible. He quickly calculated the potential commission loss for his colleagues and a flicker of annoyance crossed his face. However, professionalism outweighed his initial misjudgment.

"Understood, sir," he said, putting on his best customer service smile. "Please fill out these details first, and I'll need your ID for verification."

Li Feng went through the motions of filling out the paperwork, his impatience simmering just beneath the surface. He knew car dealerships weren't known for their lightning-fast service, but the system's reward had instilled in him a sense of urgency. He wanted to be on the road, his new car a symbol of his transformed life.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the paperwork was complete. It was time for payment. The counterman tapped a few keys on his computer screen. "Alright, sir," he announced, "the total comes out to 220,000 yuan. How would you like to pay? We do offer financing options with a 20,000 yuan down payment if you have a company letter."

Li Feng, with a knowing smile, interrupted. "Actually," he said, "I'd like to pay the full amount. Is there a discount for a full cash payment?"

The counterman hesitated for a moment, then a sly grin spread across his face. "Excellent choice, sir! For a full cash payment, we can offer a 20,000 yuan discount, bringing the total down to 200,000 yuan."

Li Feng smirked as the salesperson confirmed the full payment. He swiped his card, the satisfying beep signifying a successful transaction.

The man quickly handed him a receipt and explained, "Excellent choice, sir! The black Civic Touring you selected is available in the showroom, but with the accessory installation and license plate registration, it'll be delivered to your address tomorrow morning. Please fill out this form with your delivery details."

Li Feng stifled a groan as he glanced at the form. Paperwork seemed to be the bane of his newfound fast-tracked life. He understood now why some people preferred importing cars – anything to avoid the endless forms. With a sigh, he filled out the delivery address, his penmanship a blur of impatience.

"Alright, sir," the salesperson said, a satisfied smile plastered on his face after confirming the address. "You're all set! We'll ensure your car gets delivered to the specified address by tomorrow morning."

Li Feng practically bolted from the showroom, fearing another form might magically appear in his hands. The salesperson, meanwhile, stared at the delivery address in disbelief. Dragon Hill Villa. It was one of the most prestigious and expensive residences in the entire country. His initial dismissal of Li Feng was completely shattered. This seemingly ordinary young man was not only wealthy, but incredibly wealthy.

Reaching his meeting spot, Li Feng spotted his waiting Audi. He slid back into the luxurious leather seat, a satisfied sigh escaping his lips. "Master," the driver inquired politely, "where would you like to go next? Perhaps a restaurant, or should I take you home?"

Li Feng chuckled. "Take me to the villa," he instructed. The driver nodded silently and began navigating the city streets.

As the Audi rolled through the gates of the Li mansion, Chen, ever the attentive servant, was already waiting at the door. He promptly opened the car door, assisting Li Feng out of the vehicle. The driver, acknowledging the unspoken command, maneuvered the car towards the garage.

"Welcome home, Master," Chen greeted Li Feng with a respectful bow.

A chorus of "Welcome home, Master" echoed through the hallway, as a line of servants stood in unison, their faces etched with respect and anticipation.

"I'm home," Li Feng replied, his voice carrying a sense of politeness.

As Li Feng and Chen entered the mansion, the latter couldn't resist sharing a piece of information. "By the way, Master," Chen said, a hint of curiosity in his voice, "the clothes you purchased earlier have already been delivered to your room."

"That was quick," he commented, a note of surprise in his voice.

Li Feng strode into the grand hall, a hint of pride radiating from him. He settled into one of the plush armchairs.

"Chen," Li Feng began, "I picked up a car earlier."

Chen bowed slightly, a flicker of curiosity crossing his features. Li Feng's recent forays had defied expectations, and Chen was eager to learn more. "Very good, Master," he replied.

his mind racing. He couldn't help but wonder which high-end luxury car Li Feng had purchased that could be delivered overnight.
