SPEAR DEMON
Madness(Prologue)

Madness(Prologue)

In the darkness of the vast cosmos, a being drenched in blood flowing from his wounds slowly emerges from the tear in space.

[Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh]

[I will kill you all, you heartless beings. Even if I must break my soul and tear my body, I will kill you all.]

A scream of vengeance and anger is heard in every corner of the divine realm. Every being there listened to the demon's voice that came to take their life.

{Hahaha, what can a mortal being like you do to us? Do you think you can even put a scratc...} Puhak!

The being that just appeared before the demon and arrogantly looked down on it couldn't even finish its sentence stares in its torso, especially the spear logged deep there, rapidly darning all the mana in its body and its life force with it.

{No no no no noooooooooooo}

After throwing his spear, the human, who looked like a demon bathed in blood from head-to-toe scars all over the body and eyes that burned red like flame, looked at the screaming giant trying its hardest to pull the spear out of its torso but couldn't.

And left there was nothing but the husk of a being that was once a proud divine being.

The silence was all that was left in the divine realm. Every being that witnessed the scene felt a creeping feeling from deep within their source, fear, a long-lost feeling that started to eat at their consciousness. Anger also raged for seeing a being they considered an ant kill their own.

Thousands of divine beings appear, tearing space one after another, beings as big as mountains around the human. They start to surround the human, some burning like the sun, some freezing time itself, others with their characteristics apply their power and pressure the human, trying to crush him into a mush of blood and flesh but...

[Hehehe hahahahahah ahahahahah]

[Here you come, ahh, how I portray the day I would take my revenge, how I would eat your flesh, drink your blood, kill every single being of your lineage.]

[ahahahahah]

Taunting! A human mocked them, divine beings who had ruled the galaxy for billions of years, trampling many races, and standing at the apex. Now, they were being looked down upon by the weakest race in the galaxy, a human.

Yet, no divine being laughed at the human. Within the madness-laden laughter, they could sense the killing intent directed at them, inducing a feeling akin to vomiting blood.

[Huuu... ]

Slowly breathing, the human assumes a stance, stepping into the vastness of space. Mana begins to flow through his body, and a red aura envelops him, forming an armor. Simultaneously, a sizzling sound emanates from the spear, and a roar of thunder accompanies the creation of a long lightning blade from the tip of his weapon, cracking the very fabric of space.

[Should we start the slaughter.]

With a sinister smile, the human takes a step, warping the fabric of space. With each stride, he moves faster than light, and in unison, the divine beings begin their advance.

As all the divine beings unleash their attacks one after another at the human, he deflects, dodges them all, and slashes with the lightning blade. With a dragon-like roar, the blade cuts through space, heating the very fabric of the cosmos and turning the divine beings in its path into nothing.

Four eyes appear in space, shining brighter than the countless stars in the galaxy and dwarfing the nearby planets. A very domineering and eerie voice resonates in the dark expanse.

{A human unleashing an attack at this level is impossible.}

All divine beings in space kneel and pay respect to the being.

{lord}

{lord}

{lord}

[@#$#@, you have finally shown yourself. I can't wait to slaughter all your brethren.]"

{Impudent! An ant like you can't name the lord.}

The divine being near the human launches its attack, only to be beheaded before it can register what happened. After grabbing the head of the corpse, the human drinks the silver blood and laughs hysterically.

[@#$#@ your race has delicious blood, hahaha I can't wait to taste more.]

The human stares at the four eyes with bloodshot eyes, taunting it with no fear, just madness.

A peculiar silence lingers in space.

{DIE}

FINALLY, space breaks, and a giant bigger than the star appears, slowly tearing space and turning planet and star into nothing, but still, only its upper torso with four arms manages to emerge enough to strike fear into every being that can even sense it.

{HARBINGER}

As soon as appearing it forms a giant black hole and pushes it toward the human.

[SPACE DEVOURER] [#S@$A]

As the human utters the word, the lightning blade increases its length, folding space and time to appear endless. The aura Armor around him increases its size to be on par with @#$#@ with a horn on the helmet and blackish red flame around its back and a lotus with thousand petals made up of crimson flame on his fleet.

Reality loses its form as the giant black hole collides with the boundless lightning blade. Nothing remains certain; time reverses into the past and simultaneously leaps into the future, yet the human remains steadfast. Such phenomena are expected when beings of their caliber engage in combat. However, as a consequence of this collision, all the divine beings turn to dust.

What was truly shocking, however, was that the bodies of the remaining two beings began to slowly crack.

{That form, how can you possess that form?}

Even in such an oppressive, God-like being, surprise and fear can be discerned in his voice.

[Haha, do you like my surprise? You wouldn't have shown yourself if you knew I was part #S@$A.]

{It's impossible. That race is long extinct. You can't be...}

Before the giant can finish its words, the energy collision reaches an unprecedented level, engulfing everything in an indescribable, blinding light that obliterates all in its wake.

(booooooooooooooommm......)

(BAM)

 "Ouch, ahh, what the hell..."

A boy, around 14 years old, slowly rose, rubbing his forehead.

"Vritra, what happened? What was that sound?" came a voice from behind him. Looking back, he saw his brother Kirin slowly waking up, rubbing his eyes.

"I bumped my head on the wall."

"Huh! Were you having a nightmare to bump your head on the wall?"

"Hmmm, I don't remember much... was it a nightmare?"

"Hmm, didn't you just wake up, or did the shock from impacting your head make you forget it?"

"I don't know. Why does it even matter? I will go outside. I don't think I can sleep again."

"Ok."

After a quick chat with my brother, I softly opened the cottage door, opting for a stroll in the moonlit night. The hilly surroundings, cloaked in shadows without a guiding light, posed their risks. However, caught in the fog of just waking up and wrestling with the fragments of an odd dream, my mind was anything but clear.

After a considerable distance from home, I found myself strolling down the familiar path alongside our terrace farm. Something caught my attention in the cornfield.

"..."

A dark silhouette of a human with a pair of red, flaming eyes, holding a spear.

"SPEAR DEMON"

Why did those words escape my lips? I felt a disconnect, an otherworldly sensation. Shaking my head slowly, the figure remained, its eerie gaze fixed on me. A sense of unease engulfed me, and I couldn't help but tremble. As I attempted to flee, a sudden, intense pain gripped my head.

"Ahhhhhhh..."

I scream, but the surroundings hold an eerie silence. And then, as if the very air held its breath, a mysterious force tightened its grip on my consciousness. Feeling like the inside of my head was being melted, all I could do was clutch my head.

Clutching my head in agony, I knelt on the unforgiving ground. The searing pain within felt like an inferno consuming my very being.

"Ahhhhhhhhh!"

My desperate scream meant to echo through the surroundings, instead dissipated into an unsettling silence. Mouth agape, eyes ablaze with crimson, and tears streaming down, I continued to vocalize my torment, yet the world remained hushed.

My vision blurred, and suddenly, the man was right there in front of me. His mouth moved, and I could finally hear a sound—his voice carried a strange ring, his words strange and incomprehensible. The desire to plead for mercy, to escape the infernal agony, surged within me, yet my voice remained unheard. Gradually, he lifted his hand, pointing straight at my forehead, and then... everything just went blank.
