On the world of Dorlem, magic is commonplace. Everybody is born with a magical unique magical ability, and everyone also has the capability to learn magical spells, through practice and knowledge.But there is another kind of energy that exists parallel to to magic. This energy is commonly called miasma. Miasma corrupts the bodies and minds of creatures, turning them into monsters. Those very monsters threaten all life. Humanity has to live on the edges of the continent, hiding away from the evils that lurk inside the Deadlands.The Adventurers are people that have decided to rise up against the monsters. Some do this for fame and glory, some for money, other for power. Everybody has their reasons, but what connects all of them together is their desired will to fight monsters.
