There are many types of spirit plants. As they are used in alchemy, feeding beasts, using in food and many more. So it has crazy demand in the market.
Hong Li was thinking which spirit plant to grow, if he suddenly enters the market with a spirit plant that is monopolized by some other families or sects then he would face some serious problems. Though, it won’t be a problem if he sells them in small batches but that way his cultivation would slow down a lot. So he has to think this seriously
But with this, he thought of some problems, he grabs some hoes, goes outside and starts digging some soil and takes it back to the room and puts it in the chamber
Inside the chamber he plants some rice, waters it and he focuses the time of the entire room into the rice which was planted in the ground. But the rice never sprouted, instead it started to grow fungus and it rotted.
As I guessed, Hong Li said with a sigh.
Hong Li had already imagined this situation. Growing spirit plants isn’t that easy. As it needs different elements like sunlight, nutrients and different plants need a different environment.
Forget about it, I should think of something else, Hong Li said with a bit of disappointment.

“That's it” Hong Li immediately stood up from his bed which was in the chamber, and became excited like a horny dog.
Mushrooms are definitely one of the plants that don't need sunlight and can grow easily.

He starts heading out to buy the main ingredients for blood Qi mushroom.

As they started another round of bargaining, when both of these two people’s mouths were about to go dry; they finally agreed on a price that both of them were satisfied with.
“So where should we deliver the goods brother?” Said the leader of the hunting group.
“I have booked a room at the jade pavilion; deliver it there, I'll give you half the money now and the other half will be paid after the purchase is delivered.” the black robed man said in a plain voice.
“Then we’ll do that, by the way my name is Jun Tao. If you need to purchase more of these in the future, then remember to contact me.” The leader of the hunting group said with a flattering smile, “Of course you can also get discounts like this; if you buy in a large batch.”
As the black robed man paid the spirit stones, he started to go to the city gate.

The black hooded robed man saw the beast's body in the room and after counting and confirming the amount, he gave the remaining spirit stones to Jun Tao.
After Jun Tao left something strange happened; the beast’s body’s which were all on the floor somehow started to disappear when the man touched them.

Hong Li entered the chamber and saw a lot of the beast's body’s on the ground.
The black robed man was none other than Hong Li, as he was already back from purchasing the beast and he had already taken off the black robe while coming out of the jade pavilion.

To grow the blood Qi mushroom; there are only two requirement,
The first requirement is; the environment should be a place filled with a lot of Qi, this is the main reason for the blood Qi mushroom being rare as there aren’t a lot of places where Qi are concentrated in one place. Only some sects might have that as it is a natural treasure of heaven and earth, but even if they have them why would they use them as farming land instead of cultivating in there.
You have to know that the blood Qi mushroom is only beneficial for Qi condensation realm cultivators. Meanwhile the place filled with Qi can be useful even for the core formation realm masters.
The second requirement is to find a beast. The higher the stage the better it is, if it’s a first stage beast then it would take 1 year to grow the mushroom; if its second stage beast then it needs 2 years and as the stages get higher the amount of time required to grow the mushroom also extends. The higher the stage of the beast the better the quality of the blood Qi mushroom.
If you can fulfill the first requirement; then the second one is nothing difficult at all.
