“Men this guy sure talks a lot.”

I thought to myself as I grab the tv remote and turn on channel 5. On the tv appear a big and beautiful planet. The planet looks similar to the home world earth. Yet unlike the home world this planet was more land than water.

“They most likely modify the planet to include more land for people to live on.” My train of thoughts was broken by the captain annoying ass voice.

“Good new ladies and gentlemen we have just been granted clearance form Gaia’s guardian AI and the dome administration. We shall shortly begin landing this space bird. Please expect some slight turbulence upon reentry. After all this old rust bucket ain’t no super craft. Yet there’s nothing to worry about your amazing captain James which is me. have been doing this for year now. So just sit back and relax while I land this puppy.”

“That actually wasn’t a bad landing.”

After all that boasting about his skills. I really expected him to fuck it up and the landing to be rocky as hell. I look at myself in the mirror one more time. I’m wearing military boots with military pant. A crop top that covers my sides leaving my abs out. Over my crop top was my favorite black jacket. Deciding I look good. I turn away from the mirror and pick up my suitcase. The automatic door slides open when I stood in front of it. Other passengers were leaving their rooms just as I did. The Other passengers froze when I step out. Guess a seven foot muscular as hell physique with a frown on my face wasn’t the best for making friends. Too bad I wasn’t here to make friends. Plus human traffic wasn’t something I needed to worry about as people parted ways like the red sea. With people fighting to get out of my way. I soon made it to the exit of the transport ship.

I recognize the voice before I even turn to see where it came from. Just as I thought I was captain annoying. How that guy still have a job after bad mouthing his company so much. I would never know. I left the ship and enter the bridge which lead to the space port terminal.

“Alex, Alex, Alex over here”

I heard someone yelling my name and I turn to see a young man. Holding a board with my name on it. I walk towards him.

“You must be my liaison.”

“yes sir the name is cooper” he saluted.

“no need to salute son we ain’t in the military. We are just a bunch of mercenaries. Called me Alex”

“of course sir please follow me”

I follow cooper out the space port into the parking lots. We got into a giant armor jeep. He open the trunk and I put my suitcase in it. The city was not too bad with high-rise buildings everywhere. The people look happy as they go about their day. We continue to drive in complete silence just as I like. I could tell that cooper was pretty uncomfortable with the silence.

Could I be a good person and say something to make him feel at ease yes yes I could but would I do it. No no I wouldn’t I don’t give a fuck. I put my headphone on and play my favorite playlist. We left the city and entered a rural area fill with farms. After a few minutes of driving we stop in front of a gate to a huge farm. I got out of the jeep and grabbed my suitcase from the trunk. Pausing my music for a second, I ask cooper.

“When is my Nova arriving.”

“Your mech should be arriving by today sir. If it doesn’t, please don’t hesitate to give the guild a call. We shall get right to it.”

I nod my head and cooper drive away. I turn around standing before the gates. I took a huge breath.

“New beginning. This is my fucking rebirth.”

I step forward and the gates automatically open. I walk down the stone pathway toward a huge house. Entering the house, I made my way to the bedroom. I left the bedroom and enter the kitchen. Opening the fridge I smile.

“Looks like they got everything I ask for.”

I took some ingredients from the fridge. four Eggs, one onion, lettuce, mayo, tomato, my favorite cheese, bacon and ham. I open the cabinets to find bread and another cabinet held seasons like black pepper. I crack the four eggs into a bowl then put some black pepper and one chicken bouillon cube. Then I cut the front and back part of the onion. I peel the onion and soon felt the comeback of the onion. Despite my eyes tearing up I don’t stop peeling the onion.

After peeling the onion, I cut it in half. Putting one half in the fridge I dice the other half and put it in the bowl. Mixing the eggs I put the bowl down to grab two nonstick frying pans from another cabinet. Putting some oil in the pans and I went to deal with the lettuce while the oil got hot. I wash the lettuce then cut it into pieces. Then I cut the tomato. I put the cheese on the bread and put it in the hot pan. I put the egg in the pan. I start to make some hot coco while the egg was frying. After a few minutes everything was ready, and I begin to assemble my egg sandwich.

I turn the stove off. I put my two sandwiches on a plate, grab my hot coco and left the house. I sit down at a round table that was out on the porch. I took a bite of my sandwich, and it was simply heavenly. After a few minutes I finish my breakfast. I close my eyes and relax back into my chair. My relaxation was broken by the sound of tire against road. Standing up and opening my eyes I saw a massive truck.

“looks like it’s here”
