What happens when mega corporations take over the governments and divide the world amongst themselves after a catastrophe? Not only do they take over, they exploit their newfound power to reshape the world how their executives and shareholders wish it to be. SL3 is one such mega corporation, and not only does it take over the eastern US, but the corporation turns the southeast into a giant testing ground and amusement park. In what they have dubbed Southland, SL3 tests new weapon platforms and technology as well as charge tourists admission fees to live out their fantasies no matter how depraved as long as they are strong enough to get away with whatever they wish to do. Aria Baird is a college student that wants to play music and perhaps teach it. She awakens after an accident and finds herself part of one of SL3's most ambitious new projects. Aria has gone from being a normal college kid pursuing computer science major to something not quite human anymore almost overnight. She finds she must use her new found skills and abilities to not only survive Southland, but perhaps get some payback on the corporation itself. Like my past couple of stories, this tale will have multiple chapters uploaded once a week, most likely on Sundays around noon.
