Synopsis
In a world where sourcery reigns supreme Melar chases a nigh impossible purpose. He is a young man and student at the best Academy and on the cusp of graduating, moving one step closer to his ultimate goal. However, life has different plans for him, and he finds himself knocked off course into the unknown.
Melar falls into a new world where sourcery is nothing but myth and wishful thinking. Instead, a different technique of bending reality to one’s whims exists, science. With little hope to continue the pursuit that had sustained him for more than a decade, he is forced to adapt and find a new reason to live and struggle.
On the other side of the looking glass, we find a world bound by the rules of reality only for an unexpected newcomer to introduce magic with far-reaching consequences. With his forceful personality, he sweeps up people in his wake and changes their lives forever, ushering in a new age.
Meanwhile, something dark lurks beneath the surface, almost ready to step into the light and claim it all.
A life to live, a world to conquer. The end is clear, but the journey is not.
Release Schedule:
Once a week and no day or hour in particular. I dearly hope I will manage to get to a more structured release ASAP.
Disclaimers:
This is my first book and probably my last. Quality is very important to me, so I am doing my best to release only good high-quality writing. Still, I am bound to make mistakes so I hope you will forgive me for the worst of them and help me improve. Reviews and criticism are welcomed and will be considered thoroughly. However, ultimately this is my story to tell.
I use Grammarly Free for spelling. Not a plug. I just think it's better than Word's autocorrect.
Lastly, much of the story happens on Earth, as in our world. Think of me taking a snapshot of our reality and then tweaking it to fit the story. I will use as many facts as possible to increase immersion. So, there will be a USA and a China, and much might seem the same. However, I do take quite a bit of liberty with it, so use your inherent knowledge of the world only as a reference. The facts of the book are within it, not outside, in our world.
I hope you join me on this adventure and love every minute of it.
