The World-building
The World Physics of Thrae is not a typical gaming-world per se. However, you could say that this world dwells in a state of Romanticism and Fictional Imagination, while traces of Realism and Pragmatism are entrenched within. Thus, a movement’s momentum, weight differences, gravity, and other factors may influence an action's outcome.
Stabbing someone with a knife while standing still versus stabbing someone with running momentum is not equal.
A Hunter’s Health points may remain full (100/100). However, this does not mean that the Hunter does not feel hunger or other abnormal conditions. The same goes for fatigue. A fatigued Thraen will notice his or her drop in focus, increased tiredness, dehydration, and other physical or psychological changes in their bodies.
Minor spoiler if you haven't read the Prologue yet:
The Soul Window can only be acquired by an Awakened. Any Thraen denizen can see a Hunter's Soul Window. Yet, only the Soul Window owner can interact with it, with a few exceptions, such as Trading. It is so far unclear who or what created the Soul Window System.

Rating list – updated from Chapter 11.
Dungeon Ratings: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Heroic, ???, ???
So far in the story, the Heroic Dungeon Rating has been introduced. Do you have a (un)pleasant feeling higher-rated Dungeons will befall Thrae? A reminder that any rated Dungeon has built-in Levels, such as Silver-rated Goblin Hideout Lv2, introduced in chapter 9. A higher rating is equivalent to higher-tiered monsters and higher monster density, often synonymous with better Dungeon Rewards. A higher Dungeon Level is equivalent to higher-leveled monsters.
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
Quest Ratings: Bronze, Silver, Gold, ???, ???, ???
Same as Dungeons, but undecided after Gold Quest Rating. Note that Quests are further separated into Bronze, Bronze+, Bronze++, Silver, Silver+, etc.
Special Quests Rating: Unique, is always non-repeatable, and be combined with any other Quest Rating.
Sample example: [Quest: Win the town marathon. Rating: Unique Silver+]
Item Ratings: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, (Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Amethyst,) ???, ???, ???
Items in the chapters are underlined when announced by the Soul Window, but not when spoken or narrated.
Pet Rating: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, ???, ???
Pets can be Non-Elemental or possess an Element in any Rating. Higher Rating correlates to higher stats, rarity, and growth potential.
Monster Ratings: Common, Elite, Champion, Epic, ???, ???
- Demon ratings: ???, ???, ???, Demonic Emissary of Hell, ???, ???
Demonic beings will also follow the standard 'Monster Ratings' but are granted additional titles, such as The Demonic Emissary of Hell. While how the story rates Undead, like Lich, Death Knight, Bone Dragon (examples, not actual Undead of Thrae. Yet?), is under revision.
Skill books & Skills: Normal, Rare, Unique, ???, ???
Skills are separated into the Non-Elemental and Elemental categories. Skills are bolded when spoken or announced by the Soul Window, but not by the narrator.
