Prologue

In the beginning, existence was barren. Then Chaos burst.

From its swirling depths came a rift that cracked the barren into separate entities. Darkness and Light.

These beings stagnated for eons until from Darkness and Light burst Spirit, Time, and Thought.

Then Light spurred growth through the vastness of existence and the elements followed. Land, Water, Fire, and Air coalesced into spherical form all across the barren. Chaos whirled.

These elements mixed together to create life-bearing planets, and from these planets creation came to be.

These forms swelled into various sizes to become known as planets. Each planet was rich with life, orbiting around the new embodiment of Light itself; their Sun. For a time all was abundant.

Until Darkness, jealous of the successes of Light and the distraction it caused, created Destruction, destabilizing the universal balance.

The planets sacrificed the life they had created on their surfaces in order to return stability to the universe. In the end only one remained life-baring. This planet became known as Earth.

The cores of each devastated planet manifested themselves upon the Earth. Disgraced. Sorrowful. And angry beyond measure.

Eons passed before they began the life cycle of their sacrificed creations anew upon the Earth. Still tormented, they faded into apathy. Silent observers with no interest in being participants in their universe any longer.

Until one day, the Sun decided she’d had enough.
