Kai and the girls were led into another section along with the patch of kids by a instructer. after deciding the distance was enough, he ordered for a single file line. the line was created in no time while he walked to the side of the line. " face me" he said with an impassive foice.
after doing so he went from kid to kid, asking for them to release their rings. Kai and the girls happened to be last based on where the instructer started testing the kids.
pride appeared in the kids faces who succeded however the instructer face was that of disapointment.
"ssssssh" the instructer took and deep breath and release it soon after. infront of him were Daiyu, Lui, and Kai respectively. he couldnt help but murmur out " seems to be like before.." he signs again, not expecting much from the group in front of him to not disappoint himself, " all of you, state out your ages and release your rings together" wanting to get this over with.
"12" all three said at the same time and colors flash out of their body, signifying their release of spirit.
Daiyu had a holy like gold color flying upwards from her body which goes on to form a majestic royal pheonix. the pheonix body was made of the same hue while the eyes were azurean blue. Her hair changed from its pale blond color into a sun kissed one giving her a holy elf queen vibe as were her eyes which were letting out golden spark. 4 black rings ( remember, im making them 49th rank so they hiding the 5th ) proudly spinning into life behind her.
Lui who was to her right had a deep black color soaring straight into the sky forming into a dragon made of stars and a eye completly devoid of color. her hair changed from rich red to pitch black with hints of blue. her eyes seem to give out black sparks constantly appearing and disapearing. 4 black rings also spun into life behind her.
Kaishi held a translusive sphere with a colorful tree in side it on his hand. no colors came out of his body like the girls body did. however, the spirit in his hand was constantly releasing a deep purple smoke towards kai himself although disappearing before going past his body. 3 red rings immeaditly appeared behind him and in a flash turn as black as the girls.
all of this happened in a matter of seconds.
the instructers reaction was simply telling them their distination and that they are skipping to step 4 of the test.
his mind was simply broken from the sight before him. 12 year old spirit elders. spirit masters with higher than 1000+ year old age as rings. the spirits the girls released, were all catalys of his mind demise. to repair itself, it simply order the body to hand out the proper instruction and immeaditly focus on forgetting this event that which defied all of what he has learned.

" congratulations, you group of 7 have succesfully avoided exam 2 and 3" he took a glance at tang san "commerse along side yourselves and be prepare to fight Zhao Wuji" he then goes behind what seems to be the intructer, giving out the message that he will not be apart of the chat.

xiao wu jumped to the case and was the first to introduce herself " nice to meet you guys" she beamed and continued with a haughty voice " my spirit is the soft bone rabbit, please take care of me and my brother tang san" she finished with a slap to the back of tang san.
he did not seem to mind the slap.. in fact it looked like he enjoyed the contact between the two. he, being already setup to introduce himself to us began shortly after " like my sister said, my name is tang san of the blue silver grass, please take care of me!" he said with confidence. his eye gleam with intelligent not fit for his age and with all serouisness he continued " my sister here, Xiao Wu, i kindly ask you guys to take care of her as well" the voice of fondness he used did not escape the group.

Daiyu seeing it was our turn began " Daiyu of the twin pheonix, nice to meet cha!" she said out loud cheerfully which was followed by lui who took the job to be mature " excuse my sister habit" earned a tic mark from daiyu " my name is Lui Erlong of the Era Dragons, please take care of me" she finished with the most pofessional face she could pull off and looked towards me.
everyone else responded " as well for me-" and followed her gaze.
i decided to keep the short introduction norm and said " My name is Kaishi of the Tree of Life" i lied " please take care of me" I finished.
Tang san immeaditly suggest us to reveal our spirit ranks to get a grasp of our strength. he showed talents of a good leader.
"i am rank 27" tang san began.
"27" "26" "26" continued xiao, Zhu, and rong respectively. we also responded with calm tones " rank 49" together in harmony.
silience soon followed with the others looking shock. Tang san espacailly looked to be comtemplating something very important. the thought of people their age alreadying achieving spirit anchestor and are extremely close to spirit king was simply too much to take. they who were praised by their teachers and who have seen a visible difference between them and other kids did not think it was possible for people like daiyu,lui, and kaisi to appear.
this disbelief could be shown through rong who whispered " impossible".. with zhu nodding to it.
tang san gained even more worries for varibles for his future as he did not put other kids achieving the same status as kai and the sisters. He even now expect there to be others who have achieved better, the word impossible changed its definition for him. this did not deter him but instead made him even more determined..
i most become stronger! if there are others like them, how will i be able to protect xiao wu, even their spirits sound extremely powerfull! he thought to himself with a glance to his beloved sister, xiao.
as if in cue, before anyone can ask questions, spirit sage Zhao Wuji arrived along side Dai.
he looked to be in a rush "times up, prepared for battle!" comanded Zhao who was 12 foot away. not giving them time, he immediatly charged towards rong signifying he saw her spirit.
it was common knowlegde around the circle of spirit cultivators that you need to finish off any treasured glazed users first for victory. their abilities are simply heaven defying in group battles. the 7 geniuses did not waste time to take action, Zhu and Xiao appeared on either sider of Zhao, they then qucik towards his chest, stoping his charge and bounced away. Tang sang who was hiden by them landed a punch too before leaving.
their attacks did no damage to zhao who was currently grinning. he flexed as his spirit rings appear and immediatly used his first ring ability. " be prepared!" he warned without actual kindness.
with a stomp of his right foot, he charged up his attack with covering many distances mid air. " TAKE THIS!" he demanded with his right fist already flying towards tang san face.
tang san noticing the danger right away, back flipped and summoned his 2 rings, both glowing a yellow hue. he then uses his grass ability to stop Zhao from moving while he jumped backwards even more.
at this rong smiles " day 1- 10% power buff" she turns her gaze to the ones she is assisting " everyone, lets do out best!" she proclaim trying to raise the moral of the group.
having to fight a spirit sage and win, which they assume is what the test is, was a large obstacle which put atleast a dent in the geniuses confidence.
tang san while looking at his, took the lead with more confidence and like a control combatent would do, formulate a plan to defeat the elephant or in this case, bear. his two yellow rings shone once more.
Xiao merely grinned with her own pair shining along side zhu who still kept the same passive face. truly a cold queen.
Daiyu and Lui, as if connected twins, nod their heads at the same time at the sight of this " yeah.. lets do it" they said and join the party. their 4 black rings shone lively with power. " time to finish this" they continued with glee--
