Douluo Continent, Star Dou Great Forest.
In the vast expanse of the Douluo Continent lies the Star Dou Great Forest, one of the three renowned settlements for soul beasts. Its immense size is nearly comparable to that of the Balak Kingdom, stretching across the borders of the Heaven Dou Empire and the Star Luo Empire.
While two-fifths of its land rests within the Heaven Dou Empire, the remaining three-fifths are situated within the Star Luo Empire. This extensive virgin forest is marked by intricate terrain, including wetlands and swamps.
As one delves deeper into the forest, the ferocity of the soul beasts intensifies, culminating in the presence of 100,000-year-old beats. Any aspiring soul master, provided they possess adequate strength and good fortune, might find their most suitable soul ring hidden within.
Uchiha Uran gazed intently into the Star Dou Forest from the outskirts, concealed within the bushes. Beyond the underbrush, the towering woods grew increasingly unfamiliar, harboring soul beasts that embodied death.
He questioned why he stood here, though he recognized it was his own decision. Following the awakening of his Martial Spirit, his parents fell suddenly and unexpectedly ill at a certain point.
The illness wasn't severe, mainly causing fatigue, nausea, dizziness, and insomnia. However, after Awakening his Martial Spirit, he sensed that something was amiss. It was as though his family's harmony had been disrupted from the outset.
His surname was Uchiha, which wasn't an issue in itself. The dilemma lay in the fact that he was on the Douluo Continent with the name.
As he grew, he learned more about his family's history. His ancestor, a formidable eye-possessing Martial Soul Titled Douluo, had mastered numerous self-crafted flame-type spirit abilities and various exclusive secret techniques. Regrettably, these had faded with time or secrecy.
While records of his ancestor existed, the origin remained shrouded in mystery, a fact that deeply intrigued Uran. He was the second to transmigrate into this world, with his ancestor being the first.
The idea of Sharingan merging directly with a Martial Soul was somewhat outrageous. Yet, when considering the existence of the God Realm on the Douluo Continent, as well as the possibility of other worlds beyond it, the incongruity was less pronounced. Since nobody possessed concrete knowledge about this matter, it remained uncertain.
At the age of six, he conducted the Martial Spirit awakening ritual within the family. The process proceeded seamlessly, and he successfully awakened his Martial Soul.
Though he wasn't blessed with a twin Martial Soul, his awakening surprised him. He manifested the Sharingan, a Martial Spirit that differed from the rest of his family.
Stolen story; please report.
The exact details eluded Uchiha Uran. To others, the eye-shaped jade in his irises appeared different, resembling a scaled-down version of a fan-shaped emblem with a rounded, projecting head and a recessed interior.
Despite the distinction, his father felt elated, designating it a mutated Martial Soul. He revealed that the family had not witnessed a mutated Martial Soul for an extended period, and the two previous instances had produced immensely potent and distinctive beings.
Today, he was fortunate enough to witness the birth of a new mutated Martial Spirit within the family, and moreover, it was his own child. His father's joy knew no bounds, prompting him to document this historic moment with the family's chronicler.
However, with the awakening of his Martial Spirit came the onset of nightmare.
It remained unclear when it had begun, but instances of the maid's mild fever or the servant's inexplicable comas led to a peculiar transformation across the entire family. The members had become alarmingly susceptible to illness.
These shifts were unprecedented. Fevers prevailed, gradually weakening more and more individuals. Dake, the patriarch and Uran's father, took initiative. Be it through the ministrations of a healing soul master or through tonics, every possible resource was employed. Regrettably, it could only postpone or briefly suppress the it—never truly curing them.
Caught in this predicament— it was neither poison nor martial techniques—the precise workings of No matter how powerful his Eye spirit was, it failed him. He struggled to discern the shifts occurring within the human body. The diagnosis of soul masters only confirmed the deterioration within the bodies of these low-spirit-power servants.
It seemed that a certain threshold had been crossed. One night, the servant who had slipped into a coma earlier began to undergo violent vomiting, accompanied by high fever, bleeding, and varying degrees of anemia. As if subjected to torture, these low-spirit-power servants suffered unimaginable pain.
Simultaneously, while Uran examined himself in the mirror, he activated his Martial Spirit and scrutinized the peculiar jade shape within his pupils. Gradually, an unsettling premonition took root in his heart.
A single-shaped fan-like symbol: the outer circle convex, the inner circle concave. A single icon held little explanatory power. However, when considered in connection with the three gouyu, it rotated within his pupils in a manner resembling a product, akin to a fan. Or, more precisely, it seemed reminiscent of a warning symbol from his previous life on Earth... but what exactly was it?
Thinking back to the servants' comas, their general exhaustion, vomiting, and high fever, Uchiha suddenly realized that these symptoms had emerged gradually only after he awakened his Martial Spirit, coinciding with the appearance of this peculiar pattern.
Could this pattern be responsible for bringing about these negative effects? Or perhaps his mutated Martial Spirit was developing not in a favorable direction, but rather one of deterioration.
But what was it exactly? What did these symptoms signify in his past life? Was it a poison? Or could it be cancer?
"Wait, cancer?" A thought seemed to crystallize, and Uran felt he might be onto something. Following this line of thought, he contemplated whether there existed any internal stimuli in their bodies, which, when prompted, could lead to symptoms akin to cancer: profuse sweating, fatigue, vomiting, and the like.
Gradually, Uran's gaze returned to the mirror, observing himself. Silver-white hair cascaded naturally to his ears, his fair skin bore a healthy flush, and his pair of rotating single tomoe in his sharingan exuded an air of both naturalness and peculiarity.
His own eyes, the more he examined them, seemed increasingly emblematic.
Suddenly, a notion flickered through his mind. Would the black fan-shaped tomoe match better if the whites of his eyes were yellow?
A warning symbol?
"I understand."
He fell into contemplative silence, then resumed, "It seems plausible. If it's that phenomenon, it is indeed wreaking havoc upon my tormented family. While no higher-level spirit master has fallen into a coma as of now, I'm afraid that in a matter of days, the entire family may fall under its influence. If this persists, their fates could be grim." Uran raised his head.
Speaking slowly, he rose from his seat and began to pack his belongings. There was no mistake. His eyes might condemn everyone around him to die in agony. Consequently, he was compelled to depart from his home immediately.
His eyes were a stark reminder. He had encountered this fan-like icon on exceedingly rare occasions. Yet, whenever he encountered such a warning, he instinctively withdrew, fearing contamination.
It was unmistakably—Nuclear Radiation.
