“STOP!!!”
Bam! Bam!
While the shout ringing on Yuwan and Esrad ears, somebody appear in front of their body from who knows where and attack them on the stomach out of blue.
“Gah!”
“Ugh!”
The impact makes surrounding grass to sway wildly, while Yuwan and Esrad bodies had been thrown back a whole 10 meters. It’s not a little trail of blood anymore, but a mouthful of blood from both Yuwan and Esrad mouth.
There stood in front of Goh, someone who seems to be middle-age man with black robe and long brown hair fluttering about from the wind. On his white face, strict black eyes could be seen glowing brightly under thick eyebrows and scar crossing from his left neck to his nose, making him looks like scary father who only knows how to slap his son.
But, Yuwan and Esrad didn't had a time to care about that.
When their bodies touch the ground, they didn’t stop and instead keep blown back a few meters until they stop, leaving a trail of parting and red grass while at it.
‘It hurts! How come my entire body is hurting to?!’ thought Esrad.
Not just Esrad stomach which in pain, but his entire body is. As if being torn apart by some kind of magical beast, Esrad body and muscles cracking, screaming as if it’s couldn’t withstand it any longer. When all part of Esrad bodies as if already in complete agreement, they send pain signal with lightning bolt like speed straight to Esrad brain at the same time, shaking his entire body, burst out wildly toward Esrad’s throat, and then out from his mouth.
“AH!!!”
After a moment of silent, Esrad pain scream reverberates loudly in the grassy plain. As for Yuwan, he already had injury from before. He can’t even scream, only seems gasping for breath with very pain expression and sweat pouring uncontrollably on his beaten up face. The twin, who didn’t involved at all, only stood on the side, stunned.
As for Goh, he just stunned on his butt. His mouth widely open and closed as if wanting to say something but there is no sound come out, his pupil shrank while widely opening his eyes seems to be in incredible shock.
Goh cannot help it. Even though he thought that he wouldn’t die just like that, deep on his heart, Goh already know that it is just a wishful thinking of his. But, how come wishful thinking became reality? Even Goh himself have a hard time believing it.
“You dare to try to kill my son when I’m around? In your dream!”
He is Youdi Murash, younger brother of current patriarch of Murash clan, a third son on Murash household.
After hearing what the figure in front of him were saying, Goh made a shock expression and then become very bright smile which contain relief on it. Warm current swept his heart, because his father who so strict before, was actually care so much about his son. His smile looks like he thought that he would be thrown into boiling water with bubble bubbling wildly, but only to find out it is just warm water which heals his tired body.
“FATHER!!”
Goh couldn’t help himself any longer and then start to get up hastily while cupping his hands respectably. After that, Goh start to walk hastily toward Yuwan and Esrad on the ground, laughing maniacally while pointing his finger toward them.
“HAHA… That’s what you got for trying killing me!! Father, that purple hair brat wanted to kill me!! And that black one humiliates me again and again!! Please avenge your son!!”
Goh face couldn’t be more hysteric, asking for helps while Goh cup his hand toward his father . Chilling light flicker on Youdi’s eyes, and he suddenly made his move.
*PAHH!
Crisp sound ringing loudly.
Youdi’s slap made the person in question thrown 4 meters, while that person bodies rotate at least 8 times before fall to the ground. Very deep red palm marks appear on his face, while very shock expression appear on his face as if he just found out that his girlfriend which he love very dearly, was sleeping with another man secretly…was end up as a dude. “W-w-why? Why father s-s-slap me?”
The one Youdi slap was his son. As expected from someone who has a look like a scary father who only knows how to slap his son, he indeed slap his own son, thought Esrad when he examined who is the one who attack him.
Goh try to maintain his calmness as much as he could, while he asks his father. Before, Youdi never slap Goh. Actually Youdi is rarely out from his closed door training, that is why Goh was so surprised when he saw his father protecting him.
But he does really cannot keep calm, making Goh voice trembled, even though he still use respect tone.
“What do you mean?”
Against all expectation, Youdi actually ask his son back as if that is very stupid question.
“W-why esteemed father…”
Suddenly, Youdi dash toward Goh with the speed as if he is a blur.
“You dare to call me father!?”

Not even finishing his sentence, Goh had been slapped again by Youdi on Goh opposite face. Goh bodies, again, thrown back a few meters, his body rotates multiple times before fall to the ground.
Now, Goh face had very balanced feature with mark on both of his cheek, and in the front face which actually being appreciated by Yuwan who watch silently from the side. It seems like Yuwan still had powers to appreciate such a thing even though he is thoroughly exhausted.
“You know how disgusting your behavior is!?”
Being asked by that kind of question, Goh stunned can’t answer his father at all. He feels as if all of his act was justified, didn’t wrong in the slightest, let alone worth slapped.
Seeing Goh confused face, Youdi becoming angrier while his Qi accidentally leak out, making Youdi looks like he going to snap at any moment.
“But father, you said that you can use whatever means to defeat your opponent.”
Said Goh, trying to justified himself. It seems like Youdi didn’t care about being called father anymore, because he ignore it.

Didn’t even finish his sentence, Goh being cut off by Youdi with very deep tone as if he tries to suppress his anger. Of course Goh didn’t know why, so he just sat there lowering his head without answering.
“When I’m out for my closed door training, I heard that you go out to settle things from other member. That is why I following you, wanting to know what kind of things which made you go all the way to Murago territory.”
Youdi stop for a moment to catch his breath. He didn’t care how much cold sweat that his own son poured by now.
“And here I saw you, Goh Murash, laughing maniacally just because you just barely win against a brat who only reaches level 3 elementary rank? How arrogant and proud you are just because of that?”

“Do you know how pathetic your fight is? Panicky, easy to be provoked, and underestimated your opponent when you overestimate yourself”

Said Youdi while he very slowly walking toward Goh. His voice become more and more deep with each step he took, the Qi he leak out become more and more dense. Every time Youdi step on the grass, sound of it reverberates on Goh ear as if it is the sound of hammer adding the tension which made Goh terrified even more.
“Can you explain it to me, Goh Murash?”
Everyone in the Murash clan knows well that Youdi always call Goh “my son”, or at least “Goh”. But, Youdi Murash call Goh full name which is “Goh Murash”, ever since Youdi Murash start the conversation toward his son.
That is just a small difference, but Goh knew very well that when his father call him like that, Youdi start to treat him as stranger or an adult. No more ties, no more same bloodline, no more Murash clan member, only the talk between men. Calling Goh pathetic and disgusting while Youdi call Goh with his full name shows how much Youdi didn’t want to be called as “father” by Goh.
“But do you know how ecstatic when I’m appear to help you just now? When you face opponent with clearly weak power, you become very arrogant, but when you face stronger opponent, you act like a weak little lamb.”
At this time Youdi Murash already stood in front of Goh. Goh only sat on the spot, lower his head weakly with his body trembled didn’t dare to face his Father.
“And when I save you just now, you become arrogant again as if your disgraceful behavior just now never happens.”
“That fight only shows me of how weak my son will really is, how my own son disgrace the name of Murash Clan”
Everybody on the grassy plain only silently watching from the side. Even Yuwan and Esrad didn’t planning to run away.Soft wind swaying the grass every now and then without care of what happening now.
“What pisses me of even more is you dare ordering your own father to disgrace himself to kill a brat, just because you aren’t capable of doing that”
Hearing what his father says, Goh start to realize his mistake. Goh word seems like describing Youdi as someone who would protect him when he is in danger, and avenge him when he can’t solve his problem. Isn’t that description isn’t far off from a bodyguard?
But Goh still feels confuse for him being arrogant. Is it wrong to be arrogant, isn’t that a given considering he is a member of Murash clan, one of the great clan in southern domain. If he doesn’t act arrogant, who would fear him?
Who would consider him as someone who mustn’t to be provoked?
But Goh confusion only last for a moment after what his father said.
“Goh Murash, we are great clan in the southern domain, which is true. But you didn’t know how vast the world is. You just barely win against level 3 elementary rank and you become arrogant. Greigweiss continent is only a small continent, very small one. If you want to rule other, become stronger, not become arrogant. I don’t want you to be satisfied just because we are great clan from small part of the continent.”
What came from Youdi mouth didn’t seem overbearing anymore. Even though it is still strict voice, but there is a little gentle tone a father would use toward his son.
“In the cultivation world, there aren’t the strongest, only stronger people. So, if you have a problem, you need to solve it yourself. Weak determination wouldn’t have vast possibility in the future”
It seems like Youdi already satisfied with his lecture, because after saying this, he start to turn around.
“After this event, I need to temper you personally. Be prepared”
Said Youdi, without looking at Goh anymore. Goh only nodded his head weakly, seems like he is contemplating what his father said
“You twin over there” Said Youdi.
His strict eyes seems to penetrate the twin body, went straight toward their heart. When called, the twin body trembled, but it seems like they already accept their fate because they didn’t avert their eyes at all. The twin keeps their back straight, waiting whatever Youdi going to said with back full of cold sweat.
“…”
Seeing the twin respond, Youdi eyes flickered, his eyes gleaming with mysterious light with only Youdi knows why.
After silent for a brief moment, seems like he is contemplating something, he suddenly said,
“You two have very promising future. Follow me back to the clan. I would decide your fate there.”
What Youdi said mysteriously had a certain tone on it. The twin bodies relaxed a bit after hearing what Youdi said but they were puzzled afterward. Why would Youdi Murash, an important figure in the Murash clan said they have very promising future? He is not the type who like joke around right? Thought the twin at the same time.
After looking relaxed and confused expressions on the twin face for a brief moment, Youdi Murash start to change his line of sight to Yuwan and Esrad.
“Now then…what should I do to you two?”
