Within the confines of a dimly lit pentagon-shaped dungeon chamber sat a floating crystal prism shrouded by a wavey rainbow-coloured light. Inside the prism was a viscous rainbow-coloured gel which suspended a tall naked humanoid. The humanoid yawned in his sleep before he bumped his head against the front of the prism.
Within the humanoid's blurred dream, the humanoid(wearing regal-looking adventuring armour, a fingerless glove on his left hand, and a three-segmented overlapped cloak) stared up to the stary, nebula-filled night sky as he plummeted towards the ground as his cloak violently flapped in the rushing wind. The humanoid flipped around until his feet were pointing towards the floor and spread out his cloak to slow his fall before he landed on the ground.
"Three... two... one and," the humanoid said before he snapped his fingers, and the second he did a humongous mountain sprawling golden-furred serpent-like dragon slammed into the ground and fractured the surrounding terrain. The figure opened his eyes from shock and stared at his fingers.
"Ohh... must've used more mana than I thought... sorry about that, Ivina," the humanoid remarked nervously as a sphere of golden light floated in front of the humanoid before it bursted to reveal a towering busty female humanoid whose body was obscured by light. (Ivina is a roughly thirteen-foot tall human-looking being who looked like she was in her mid-twenties; she has long trailing glowing golden hair, glistening golden eyes pitch-black scleras, and glowing white hair)
"No need to apologise; it's only a shame our fight could've lasted longer, Sulki," Ivina remarked with a freakishly soothing angelic voice. The humanoid unamusedly frowned and pouted at Ivina for referring to him as Sulki.
"You're lucky I'm too exhausted from our fight to punch you for calling me that," the humanoid stated as he crossed his arms. Ivina giggled cheerfully as the humanoid continued to pout.
"Come now, I know you like it when I tease you~," Ivina said as she poked the humanoid's cheek, making him playfully roll his eyes at her.
"Yeah-yeah, don't forget the conditions of our match," the humanoid stated sternly.
"Yes-yes, yet again, you said you wanted to have a child with me, but you don't need to be so forward about it~," Ivina said coyly as she put her hand on her cheeks and gleefully squealed like a teen. The humanoid gave Ivina a deadpan stare as her squealing slowly died down before she took a peek at the humanoid to see his expression.
"What?" Ivina said with a genuine perplexed expression.
"That was not what I meant by I want some of your mana and mana DNA," the humanoid stated as he looked away to hide the faint pink blush on his face.
"Oh... did you mean that in the literal meaning of those words?" Ivina asked.
"Duh.". Ivina scratched the back of her head and awkwardly chuckled.
"Yeah... for the best. Celestial dragons can only have one child who can become a celestial variant after all," Ivina remarked nervously. Ivina breathed in and out to calm her nerves before raising her hand to the sky. Gold-like mana seeped out from Ivina's body before travelling up her and gathered into two mana spheres (a large sphere and a small sphere in her raised hand). The spheres shot away from Ivina's hand and flew straight for the humanoid with the large sphere flying into his back and the smaller one going into the back of his left hand. The guy raised an eye as he felt the mana merge into his body and shot Ivina a shocked glance.
Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.
"Why'd you give me all of your mana?".
"Isn't it obvious, for all dragons, losing in a duel is synonymous with death, deary," Ivina stated before she gave the guy a cheeky wink.
"But I thought that was only a cultural figure of speak.".
"Well, just like how your request to me was more literal than a play on words the same goes for us losing in combat," Ivina stated calmly. The guy looked at the back of his left hand and sighed.
"You're not having regrets about your goals, now are you?" Ivina asked.
"No... just....".
"Wished you challenged me to something other than combat?".
"Yeah, but we both know you couldn't give up your mana under anything other than a battle," the guy stated.
"True... but I, too, kinda regret it's the case," Ivina remarked.
"How come?".
"You dummy, baby celestial dragon take five hundred years to hatch, and I only just layed my daughter a month ago," Ivina stated poutingly as she moved her finger towards the guy's forehead. The guy braced himself to be sent flying but only felt a light flick against his forehead.
"Was that... it?" the guy uttered. Ivina looked at her hand as the tips of her fingers slowly crumbled away.
"Seems I have even less time than I thought...," Ivina said contently. The guy itched the back of his head as Ivina lowered her hand.
"You don't need to worry. I'll look after her," the guy said as he smugly grinned and placed his hands on his hips. Ivina amusedly scoffed at the guy's demeanour, making the guy huff at her while muttering under his breath.
"You'd better, given the shinanigans you put me through for the past six months," Ivina stated.
"And here I thought you enjoyed our time together," the guy said in a jestful manner, making Ivina smile.
"Yeah.". The memory slowly faded away from the guy as the sound of panicked high-pitched voices called out the guy's name.
"M...s..r S..io.".
"Ma..ter So...ke...o.".
"Master Soukeio!" six bright orbs of different-coloured lights frantically circling the gel-filled crystal prism.
"What is it? You interrupt-," Soukeio said with his deep smooth voice echoing inside the minds of the light-radiating beings before the beings cut him off as one slammed into the prism.
"Invaders are trying to steal the dragon egg!". The second black and red light-radiating being finished speaking, the crystal prism cracked before instantly shattering into dust as the gel inside exploded in every direction, revealing Soukeio's appearance. (Soukeio is a tall human-looking tanned guy who appears to be a young adult male; he has spikey elbow-low dark purple hair, pale lime green eyes, a large bold ring-shaped glowing dark grey tattoo with yellow and purple dots in it on his back which has twelve different coloured circle [red, blue, teal, green, cyan, orange, pink, grey, white, black, purple, and yellow], and a smaller version of his back tattoo on the back of his left hand)
"Has the dungeon changed formation?" Soukeio asked calmly.
"Yes, Master Soukeio," the pink and grey light producing being stated.
"Lead the way then.". The six light-producing beings cheered in unison before they flew off out of the room at blinding speed with Soukeio jogging after them.
