I said I would have a new chapter out in June. It is now July. And at this rate, I seriously think I won't get an opportunity to write until August.
Why has this happened, you ask? Because I have severely underestimated the 11th grade, that's why. I have at least one paper due per subject over the summer, we have exams in SEPTEMBER (because colleges can't set their application deadlines for after final exams, or even midterms), and our school has decided that all common app essays are due over the summer so our English teachers can take a look at them. And then I have an internship at a hospital.
Sorry for ranting, but basically, I don't think I'll have anytime to write until school restarts and I can type chapters up on the bus.
Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
But I AM NOT DROPPING THIS BOOK.
Just... please be a bit more patient. Please.
EDIT: It's been a really long time, and I apologize for that. The past two years have been incredibly difficult, on multiple different fronts, and at one point I just completely lost all motivation to write this story at all. But I'm back now. In a sense. Re-reading what I've written so far has made me shudder, so I'm planning to re-write everything I have so far, and then continuing with the plot. I like to think that I've polished my writing style at least somewhat over the past two years, so hopefully this version will be better. I'll also be filling in any plot holes I find (there are a lot) so some of the plot points of the story might change as well. As soon as I've gotten an actual new chapter out, I'll delete this chapter.
Thank you to anyone who may have been waiting for me, and I sincerely apologize for the long wait.
