17% but I'm leaving on a sunday

Fuck..

Such were the thoughts I first awakened to when I came to.

There was simply darkness and some white place in either direction and then as if to claim it a boundary there was a clear transparent glass like path that seemed more like crystal with a blue hue, snaking beautifully as it severed the two.

On the side of either was a picket stand or rather a post of wood which read 'choose'

"Well first off.. Dark is bound to evil and bad things right? Wait this isn't right this is more shocking!!" I was looking away from the dark side but recalled my odd situation and held my held as I shook it it in disbelief.

'First off how did I get here?' I looked around a bit more but clues were not so clear to me regardless.

"Then again light is for the heroic.. Bound to good deeds and a burden .. Which they uphold the people.. Then what's this blue path?" I released my head and looked ahead at the path which was only a meter wide. It felt like one of the floors which fell under neath you once you tread them.

Right now I had to make a choice.

It feels as if I won't get any where if I dont move.

I cautiously stepped on the middle and waited with a foot on the path. It didnt fall so I started walking some time later.

"Is there a wrong choice? Maybe I should have waited."

"Also usually blue is water isnt it? Bruce lee had a saying ya know?"

"Isn't blue something meant to be like the sky's? They're free right.."

Ten minutes later I held my decision to tread the blue path instead of stepping off and soon I found nothing but blue in front me as my only ground. The other two "paths" fell away and soon I faced with a large screen which seemed to float in front of me.

It read a list of elements and animals and also things that were said to represent freedom.

I looked through it as I stopped when coming across something which really came across as freedom.

-Unlimited/Forever Boundless

Tapping this title as it seemed selectible I blinked due to a sudden light show and when I came to my eyes opened showing my familiar ceiling.

'Of course.'

Skidding to the edge of my bed I also sat up at the same time swinging my feet over the edge. I rubbed my eyes and blinked.

Groggily, I stalked over to my laptop and as I left it open I tapped the on button. After giving it a few seconds I tapped random keys and it showed the time.

-9:45

"Hm.."

Turning my gaze to the window I reacted to the sun by shutting one eye and looking at it head on for a few seconds, dropping the challenge I went to take care of hygiene so as that I could step out and walk around.

Today was also a Sunday, the last day to relax.

--

At the front door I had wore a black long sleeve and some joggers, I pulled the ankles just below my knees and slid on socks and slippers. Not the best if you looking for something fashionable but I looked alright and presentable in public so its alright. More importantly I'm comfortable.

"So, where should I go exactly." Stepping from my house after leaving my home secure I left for the stairs and got away from my apartment and began walking around.

The streets weren't too crowded and somehow I found a peaceful day, some girls walked down the road cheerfully, they were high schoolers and some adults walked down the road in a small group, I watched as they stepped near the wall letting a biker pass and they kept walking.

I liked peaceful things such as things like this.. Although mundane.

I kept walking not stopping and with a plain but pleasant expression. This is one you would see on a person enjoying their day.

Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.

"Excuse me-" I heard a polite yet sweet voice of a girl causing me to to look down but it seemed to late as she neared my shoulder, although the bump was inevitable I turned a little so that it was more of just a pat.

"Sorry, I couldn't tell-" I said immediately and bowed.

Lifting my head I took in to account the girl in from of me whom of which was another high schooler.

Her hair was a brown color and with pretty hazel eyes, her nose was small and she had a overall great image.

"Yea.. Um its fine, I have to go." She bowed once courteously and began to walk again.

I took a step and also begin to stride forth but then I thought of what I would do next. Maybe go to a restaurant? Order some food. Game center? Go to the park, movies? Nah I would rather do that at home.

I took a few more steps before I did something not even I expected.

"Wait , do you have a moment." I stopped and I heard the steps behind me stop, I briefly thought I would turn around due to vague ness but perhaps I ran into an intellectual.

"I don't, although I please listen but not to be rude but I would rather not converse with a stranger." She said bluntly. Still she hadnt taken a step as I watched her back with my neck turned slightly.

'Well not much I can say to that.'

'I wouldnt want a girl talking to strangers either a man in any case as this one was still young. Just around my age?'

'Still..'

"I know we just met but can you keep me company?"

Suddenly she turned heel to face me.

"I don't see why I should? For all I know you could be a creep."

"Well.. Again that's not something I can disagree.. But, if I'm a creep you could always leave? Is that fine?" I said honestly.

'Im quite lucky she didn't give the cold shoulder and treat me as one should a stranger.'

The girl began to give of a strange feeling as her feelings turned from pure caution to gentle, her expression softened to sweet and she looked and felt differently.

"Sigh.. I suppose ill trouble you a bit.." She said.

"No no its me troubling you. I'm sorry about that." I bowed a couple of times and smiled to soften the mood and she mirriored with a smile of her own, I was dazzled for a second and quick waves of regret slapped me, the soft breeze and the sun presented the perfect picture of this maiden which I missed the chance of capturing.

'No, I would look like a creep if I just whipped my camera from no where,'

'Then again she's a nice girl but maybe I should be calm,'

'Yeah its a splendid day after all.' The breeze came in once more and I let her approach, she offered her hand.

"Ophia sheigurein."

"..Sam-ra Boundless"

My hand took hold of her hand. She seemed a bit off about my name bit it wasnt nothing we couldn't talk about along the way. After a moment I realized my hand became stuck, wondering why I looked across and I saw a surprised sheigurein-San she was looking at my hand.

"That's right what were you doing before I came along?" I asked.

'I need to breath and immediately let go!'

'Why now of all times?!'

I yelled at my body inwardly as I just barely managed to make releasing her hand look natural.

'Stupid! So frigin stupid.. Why did you have to get comfortable you bastard.'

My body was one which seemed to have a unique condition, if the requirements were met I would get tense or stuck and the duration of which I wasnt in control was 5 minutes.

-if I was tense I found my self lucky because I could control it.

-if I'm stuck then.. All I could do was hope.

The latter occured just then and luckily I forced my self out of it.

The conditions were to be comfortable around a woman or skinship with her in a intimate way. But apparently that wasn't all as I found I could still be fairly intimate with my girl friend.

'At least when I had one.'

Sighing I turned and began to walk once more.

"I was trying to find a job, I would habe been looking one up but as I mentioned it to my friend the other day she recommended to me to a maid burger cafe." Her expression sighed and at the end she seemed close to pouting.

"Are you against the job?" I asked and slowed down, she finally began to walk so I kept pace.

'Her steps are small..'

'Then again I'm 6ft somewhere.'

Looking away from her legs and feet I glimpsed at her expression and looked straight ahead after.

"Sigh.. I'm to proud to be a maid. I dont like the image of receiving everyone condescending and perverted looks as my job, if I get played it might as well be something I like, so.."

"So you were just stopping by huh?"

'Proud? I don't mean to say she shouldn't have pride but a job won't be perfect.'

'Then again being the game administrator ain't all its cracked up to be, a person can play but they have a job so if you cant do it then there are plenty naive volunteers to fill the role.'

"That's right, what about you?"

"Me..? Well.. I'm nothing interesting. Just temporarily completed my job so for now I was going to wander around until late."

She lifted an eyebrow,

"You have a job?"

I looked at her directly and she apologized while looking surprised.

"Sorry its just.. Can you tell me.. Where do you work?"

"I'm An Administrator."

Her expression became somewhat solemn as she replied.

"How is it?"

"Well its slightly fun depending on what you enjoy."

"That's surprising, I thought such a person would enjoy game categorized jobs like those."

"No no I'm not saying I don't enjoy it.. Its just treacherous. Then again that's something I prefer not suffering."

"By the way.. Why is someone like you aiming for a job anyway? Isnt it a bit early? You don't seem to be past second year if I were to say." I asked

"Its not unusual actually and aren't you also still a high schooler?"

"That's right.. A senior."

She gave a shocked expression.

"Heh" I barely held back a laugh as she seemed funny and adorable with these expressions.

"Huh? Shall we visit that place." She pointed to a morning shop were they served customers breakfast with a vast amount of drinks to choose from ranging from toast and omlets, from soft drinks and tea.

-I'm not bothering to check the full list but they seemed popular yet not crowded today for some reason. They had many different foods for lunch and breakfast and many drinks for any occasion besides wine yet as tradition they carry sake and a few other that leave customers satisfied.

"Alright as you wish my fair maiden." I turned in front of her and did a formal gesture. Just a bow and I went and held the door for her as she entered before entering after her and finding seats.
