It’s been almost 3000 years since Jesus sacrificed himself to save all humanity. We are currently in the 29th century and during the course of the past millennium many unimaginable things have happened. Thanks to the invention of the plane, humans could fly in the sky. Not long afterwards, they were heading to space and building colonies in space and on planets within it.

It all began near the end of the 26th century. One day out of the blue people suddenly became able to see their Guardian Angels, of course it was great news. Eventually humanity learned to use the powers that belonged to their Guardian Angels for their own selfish needs; the powers granted to humans depended on the element of their Guardian Angels or Halos, as the people started to call them.

Although humanity was reaching what could be called Utopia, the world wasn’t as pretty as it seemed.

There is always darkness inside human hearts and that darkness eventually affected their Halos. It caused numerous wars to break out - wars which were never seen before. Some of the space colonies were nearly destroyed, some deserted, and others became prisons and slums for those who could not afford to live elsewhere.

The majority of the population who possessed a Halo were the Blessed; however, the Unblessed also coexisted in the shadows. The Unblessed were those that were thought of as rejects, those who God deemed unworthy to possess a Halo.

Hazork, the capital of Kroil, and one of the most damaged colonies from previous wars, is home to the main character of the story I am about to tell you. An Unblessed, abandoned by his family, he lives with a childhood friend – also an Unblessed that helped him when he was abandoned.
