yO,
No real reason for the late releases, life gets in the way. It's Quarter end and more work that way as well.
Hope you enjoy. I will give another chapter soon.
Could you let me know, how you would like me to proceed with the story. I was hoping for like a full crafting type story, of course I will add many elements of action/romance. or do you want me to go full on full Action.
Moreover, would you like a quick paced with significant time lapses to move along with the story or detailed story of every action and understanding from the characterization and Point of View(POV).

Chapter 6 - Let him live.
"It has been ten days since the boy has been sleeping, my Lord. Lord Helldrew refuses to answer any questions and keeps ignoring our requests to let the village herbmaster to have a look at the boy.
Please convince him.", pleaded the Mistress to Lord Regar who had rode in three days back having heard of the rumours of a hand being killed at his household.
He rushed back to find the rumors as not true, but worse. He had always known Helldrew as kids and his curiosity was always at the brink of madness, but he could never refuse him for all the favours he owed him.
Lord William Regar, the head Regar of the household had taken over after his father, Lord Lemmard Regar passed away. They were one of the strongest houses due to Lord Lemmards Regars brilliance and slyness, and a quality which were not all inherited by his son Lord William Regar. When William asked his father to teach him his ways, he replied, "Son, One day you would be Lord of this house and the things I do now is so that you would not have to do them when you're Lord."
Lord Lemmard always kept his children far away from the house politics and the same were followed by every other house or most of them. Lord William was compassionate, but life was not as his father had hoped for his house. Lord Regar was only sixteen and was pushed towards the unwanted lands, but he didn't complain nor did he forget.
The Mistress was standing before him with a worried look in her eye and biting her teeth whenever she thought of Helldrew. The thing that surprised him more than Helldrews actions were that of the Mistress, he never thought she ever cared. She was always strict and even sometimes to the point of being cruel to the hands of the house.
"I will talk with Helldrew and try to persuade him."
"My Lord, he gave the boy the poison hoping he would die. Would you not inform the council of his.."
"NO!! No one is to know of this. No one, make sure of it.", he quickly interrupted her.
"Yes.... but the rumours would have started already, like the one which brought you here. "
"Yes, yes, but rumours never sent anyone to be beheaded or worse.", he sighed.
"I will talk to him and bring these things to rest.", he continued before she could protest, "If there is nothing else, you may leave. I need my rest. "
She looked at the lord pleading and then nodded leaving his to his study.
"For Inerias sake, what have you done now Pete.", he sighed.

Will he wake up. I hope he does, never had a live specimen before. But it should be ok, if he dies as well. No one has survived for more than 10 minutes, but he is alive for three days now.
Helldrew kept near the boy, day and night, he never left his side and his food was served to him at his room. He fed the boy honey with grape juice. Helldrew refused every help he was given to take care of the boy.
It has been five days now and his skin looks better. Breathing is normal and his pulse has increased significantly. He will live. I need to know how he is doing, how his organs are working, should I let him live.

Helldrew was sleeping in the grand chair when he heard something, it was like someone was drowning and he quickly got to his feet rushing to the boy.
He is awake!!! Do I let him live. Let him live! or find out how he is alive. What should I do?!!
The boy was weak and slowly opened his eyes, he found the room bright and Helldrew covered the windows with the blinds. He was licking his lips and smacking his tongue demanding water. Helldrew slowly poured some water from a glass nearby into his mouth.
He has regained colour and if I think what his body is going through, I'm sure he will be alright by tomorrow. Should I let him live?!
The room was filled with the hands who washed his body and the Mistress came every hour checking on the boy, she didn't trust the Crazy Lord Helldrew.
I wonder if the old Mistress had something to do with William shouting at me, he thought seeing the Mistress avoid him. William was always naive, such sacrifices are required to learn, to discover, what use is life if you can't find out the rules you understand or is forced to understand the only rule. But, even his temper will not stop me, I know and so does he.
Helldrew went make to taking notes everyhour and Lord Regar kept visiting once a while as he was informed the boy woke to know the status of the boy. Helldrew knew it was more to let him know not to do anything more to the boy or the Mistress made sure of that was clear.
Incredible improvement, The boy is now able to move his body slowly and it's not past afternoon, won't be long before he can start to walk or talk. Should I let him live?!!
Laazy was not sure what was happening to him, he was being treated by the other hands, he recognised George and Helba washing him and he couldn't even shy them off. He was tired, but he felt different and he did not know.
I am tired, I need... to ... slee..
Helldrew kept recording the rate of improvement of the boy and took his body temperature, pulse, breathing rhythm and the colour of his skin. He looked healthy, the watered honey and herb paste which was rich in energy that the herbalist of the village provided is doing the job of keeping the boy away from death.
And on the seventh day he is just sleeping. All his colour has returned and looks normal. All vitals looks fine and he looks more healthy, so maybe my experiment worked, but he has not woken up yet. What should I do? Do I let him live? Wait he is ruffling in the bed for a while now, is he waking up.
Helldrew draws close to the boys bed and brings his face close to the boy's seeing if he is dreaming or trying to wake up.
Suddenly the boy opens his eyes. Helldrew is shocked, but what happened next literally knocked him off his feet as he was on the ground slowly loosing consciousness.
I think I will let him live..., he thought as he started getting comfortable on the cold floor.
