BOOOM!... The bomb exploded engulfing the entire area in a thick cloud of smoke. The gasps of the surrounding onlookers could be heard, they were anxious as they waited for the smoke to clear hoping for a miracle, one where the child somehow managed to survive. Seconds later the smoke and dust began clearing showing the faint outlining of a person.
Kneeling with a young child wrapped within his arm as he held his other arm in the air with a worn down broken shield created out of mana. Upon seeing the bomb closing in on the child, Niko darted to the young girl creating a shield made out of his mana to protect the girl as well as himself. His mana is still not as strong as it was before his accident so the shield only barely managed to hold out long enough to stop the majority of the blast.
Due to not having the strength he used to have, his whole arm was burnt and bleeding. Sighs of relief accompanied by some slight sobbing could be heard from the surroundings. The small group of villagers that had been holding their breaths looked at Niko, eyes filled with admiration and respect, they appreciated his sacrifice even though he had not been in the village long. They were also well aware of the fact that Harvey attempted to kill him. Niko carried the child over to the group of bystanders stopping in front of a woman who had darted out from the crowd crying with her arms stretched out ready to accept the child Niko had in his arms.
Niko Stole a quick glance towards the mother and daughter before focusing his eyes once again at the crowd. The crowd was giving thanks but, since Okin was still in control he saw it more as an annoyance especially with the current situation at hand, Okin raised his burnt hand pointing towards a building that a group of villagers was taking refuge within.
“Hey, idiots! Go follow behind the rest of the villagers and find somewhere safe to hide or else you will all end up getting in the way…”

Seeing Okins annoyed face the group was once again brought back to reality remembering the current situation they were in, as they all began running to find a safe place. Watching them running towards the building I looked at my surroundings, gauging the situation of the surrounding areas. I saw the majority of the village soldiers still busily moving from place to place as they attempt to clean up some of the damage caused by the airship while still trying to finish the defenses for the incoming enemy forces.
The village had no way of handling the airship that was flying above us wreaking havoc from the skies. Not wanting to give the airship enough time to reload its missiles I decided to stop one of the soldiers nearby having them guide me to a supply of swords and rope. Being pointed in the direction of a location nearby holding supplies for the soldiers, I took a dagger along with a long piece of rope wrapping around my left shoulder. I ran to the location the airship was slowly flying near and began tying the dagger to the handle of the dagger as tight as I could, when I felt that the knot would hold I held it in my hand like a dart wrapping my arm along with the dagger in my mana, then with all my strength cocked back my arm throwing it in the direction of the airship. Airships used for basic military operations were a lot smaller than the ships used in main fleets or for example the ships of Ailiven, which are also used as living environments and sometimes also have entire ecosystems, and cities built within. Due to this fact, I would not be able to effectively mount the aircraft on the outside but, should be able to use my mana to keep grip long enough to find a way in. while having that thought the dagger had finally hit the side of the ship lodging itself into the metal of the airship, thus I began my climb to the top. Managing to arrive at the side of the airship I let my mana flow using it to grip the side, making the rest of the climb to the top of the ship.
Peeking my head over the side to look at the situation on the top of the airship I managed to find a small walkable path that led to a door leading into the airship. I approached the door, without wasting any time I flow my mana into my legs giving the door a nice forward kick breaking the door, ripping it from the hinges sending it flying to the back of the room. Apparently, there was a guard getting ready to come outside for some scouting but instead was launched along with the door dying instantly as he hit the wall. The man was embedded in the wall squeezed between the huge metal door and the wall. Immediately upon bursting into the airship, the crew jumped into high alert sounding off the alarm in an attempt to figure out what was happening. I quickly took a look around stopping my eyes on a ladder leading down to the main parts of the ship. Immediately upon turning around, enemy soldiers came around the corner. Noticing my existence they began running at me full force.
