Chapter 1: Arrival at the University

Alexys, 18, brown hair and blue eyes, before Solaris University. Construction is a fusion of state -of -the -art technology and almost prohibited mysticism, as if each stone and metal have old memories. The wind circulates around your body, responding to your thoughts with the same naturalness as a reflection.

Metal gates open alone, as if they recognize their presence.

Alexys (thinking, cynical): "Superpodes Solaris University, huh? Tell me that the next course is 'How not to turn a walking cliché.' This name looks like a public school thing for mutants."

She takes a step ahead. The campus is alive.

In the air, fireballs clash with invisible barriers. On the floor, a student with tentacles leaving the back delivers pamphlets from a duel club. One girl crosses a wall like steam, while another flat with crystal wings. The world here does not follow the same rules.

Alexys (smiling at herself): "And I think only I was weird."

But she is not there for fun. Her father disappeared without a trace years ago, and everything took her here.

It advances to the main hall. Hundreds of students talk and prepare for the first day. But one, in particular, stands out.

Ethan, 18, messy brown hair, is sitting in a corner, notebook in hand. His eyes shine subtly, as if they saw himself beyond what anyone should see.

He lifts his eyes to her.

Ethan (calm, analyzing it): "I have never seen an aura like its before ... pure wind, no defined color, always moving."

A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.

Alexys flashes, surprised by the approach. Then he releases a low laugh and approaches.

Alexys (arching the eyebrow): "This was a sung or a paranormal diagnosis? Because if it is the first option, congratulations, you invented the weirdst flirt in the world."

Ethan (shrugging, without looking away): "Maybe a little of the two. But I confess that I'm still studying the results."

She sits next to him, without asking permission. The wind around her whispers like a living entity.

Alexys: "You know, usually people look at other parts of my body before trying to analyze me that way. But send you, I'm curious. What else do you see?"

Ethan (staring at her with a half smile): "I see you're not just here to play X-Men. There's something personal. Something that keeps you stuck in this place, even if you pretend you don't give a damn. "

She leans a little more to him, eyes shining with a mixture of distrust and interest.

Alexys: "Are you reading minds now or do you only have the troubled people?"

Ethan (laughing slightly, but seriously): - "Seeing Auras is not just seeing what is on the surface. Sometimes I see what people try to hide even themselves. And that can be ... disturbing."

Alexys pretends to reflect for a moment, then smile with Malicia.

Alexys: "Okay, then tell me, what does my aura hide? Any cosmic curse? A fixation by bad reality shows? Or a secret desire to blow up this university until the end of the semester?"

Ethan (smiling, but keeping my look intense): - "I'm still trying to find out. But I can tell you something ... You keep people away. Not because you want, but because they fear they approach too much. The wind around you doesn't It's just power.

Her smile hesitates for a second. Then she recovers control, straightening her hair as if not this importance.

Alexys: "Deep, boy. But see, you're still here. The wind hasn't thrown you away ... yet."

Ethan (with a brightness in his eyes): "Maybe because I am not afraid of storms."

A silence hangs. Something in the way he looks at her bothers and intrigues. As if he saw parts of her that she doesn't even understand.

She breaks the silence with a provocative smile.

Alexys: "Okay, ok ... Maybe I leave you around a little more. But don't find yourself. I'm a hurricane of complicated shit, and you only saw the beginning."

Ethan: "Complicated storms are the most interesting. You can feel the energy, you know? That's what keeps me curious."

She gets up, taking her suitcase. The wind around her seems to react to her mood, stronger and more unstable.

Alexys: - "Well, Ethan, it was a pleasure to meet the reader of auras thinner I've ever seen. Maybe we bump into there. But now, I need to find my room before they confuse me with a lost first year student . "

Ethan (getting up too, smiling sideways): - "If you need help finding ... or anything else, I'm here."

It pretends to consider the offer.

Alexys: "I turn myself alone ... But if the corridors are as confused as their theories about me, I may need a map. Or a GPS."

She walks away, feeling his eyes burn on her back.

There is something strange on th

at boy.

And she hates admitting that it makes her want to know more.
