I'm a bit dissatisfied with how the story has turned out so far. I guess that's what happens when you write without planning, purely relying on momentary impulses to craft a plot.

The power system of the world has been revealed very chaotically, which while being realistic in the circumstances, may confuse many readers.

Some of the twists in the beginning of the story have also began to bug me, because they're stunting the growth of the story in the distant future plots.

And finally, there has been quite a few grammatical errors in many chapters because I don't really check my writing much once I finish a chapter. The prose and setup of some scenarios have also been weakened by my hurried pace.

So I've decided to take the story down for now and furnish it properly. This will ensure that the climax of the first volume is a concrete conclusion to the mystery subplots and schemes introduced into the story so far. I'll also work on a better prose to beautify the narrative, but I doubt that's gonna do much good to a novel that relies on fast, dialogue-focused narration.

The next time I publish this novel, it will be from my original Royalroad account, alongside my main project. Or if things don't work out, I might give Webnovel a go.
