Day 1
[Ship's Black Box recording]
*Start of recording, before the crash*
Orphelius Argento: SHIT! WE ARE FALLING!!
Derek Strutz: What the fuck happened?! There was no issue with anything when I checked!
Orphelius: I don't know! Nothing is responding properly and the indicators are going crazy!
Derek Strutz: What IS working!?
Orphelius: The only things properly working are the analog altitude indicator, flap and engine controls! I'll have to do an all manual emergency landing! Not even the parachutes are deploying!
*Crackling and metal screeching noises*
Orphelius: Things started malfunctioning as soon as we came into the atmosphere but the closer we got to the ground everything started going to hell!
*Screams of the crew in back*
Orphelius: We are gonna crash hard, but it is gonna be less than lethal! EVERYONE BRACE FOR IMPACT!
*End of recording*

*Start of recording, after the crash*
Orphelius: Ladies and Gentleman, this is the pilot speaking and we are fucked... is everybody alive?
*Dr. Miranda screams*
Orphelius: shit... MIRANDA?!
*Orphelius wrestling with his harness*
Orphelius: What happened?! Is she okay!?
Miranda: Miguel! MIGUEL!
Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.
*Lots of shouting can be heard*
Miranda: HE IS NOT BREATHING!
Orphelius: What is happening back there!?
Derek: One of the support pipes broke during impact and perforated Doctor Miguel from the right side of his neck all the way to the left side of his hip. It's ugly...
*Uninteligible crew speaking and shouting*
Derek: Worse yet, our medic is passed out and several crew members have injuries or broken bones. Orphelius, I don't think he is gonna survive long...
Orphelius: Shit... I'll try going back there to see if I can help in any way. Tell those that are uninjured to start moving the wounded outside. We are lucky not to be upside-down right now. It'll take some work, but I think we can use the main door manually.
*Moment of silence, Miranda's cries can be heard in the back*
Orphelius: Tell Miranda... Tell Miranda that I'm sorry. I could NOT reduce our speed anymore before the crash... The controllers... The parachute...
Derek: It's not your fault! We are lucky enough just so that most of us alive. We know that you did what you could. We have more important things to worry right now than "who is at fault". Get back here and help out. I'll check what I can to try and find out what went wrong when we are done with the injured. Alfred, Nassar, help me open the door.
*End of recording*

*Start of recording*
Orphelius: Okay, so, how did that happen? Those support pipes are some of the most resistant parts of the craft. How the hell does even a single one of them just break during impact?
Derek: I was not quite able to see everything due to the chaos of the situation, but I saw a lot. I was seated straight across from Doctor Alpaneiros... Miguel. It wasn't the support pipe breaking by itself as much as it was a, for lack of a better phrase, unfortunate sequence of events. All electrical devices started powering on and off by themselves, shorting, flashing screens and overall going crazy during descent, even those that were not connected to any energy source. One of the electric vibrating saws, the kind needed for heavy maintenance, cut and broke through its case and appeared to be turning on and off several times while flying through the interior of the ship. It cut some of the tie down straps and I was able to see a few of the moments it hit that pipe, which happened more than once. It did not cut through in any single strike, but it did severe structural damaged to it.
Orphelius: Please, go on...
*Derek takes a deep breath before continuing*
Derek: My guess would be that something with more weight hitting it or the sheer force of impact might have been enough to finally break, falling towards the doctor which was the closest person to it. I'm surprised we had only one serious fatality since not only that saw, but a large amount of other debris was also flying around while we were falling and could have severely hurt anyone... ANYONE, but it... He is the best out of all of us and we need him now more than ever.
*End of recording*
