Yanto sigh in pity,"thats the truth...he just a kid...A kid who always feel the bitterness of life too fast" he said while slide to the first page. "This is him when he was a kid...11 years old...the first time he got his own sniper" he said pointing his finger at one of the photos

John looking more closer,"his first weapon? Is that an AWP? I thought it would be a regular sniper rifle" he said in curious

Yanto just chuckles and said "no other choice...he like this sniper more than any snipers, he even always hug it when sleep"

John thought something was bothering him,"how did he become the feared sniper?" He ask full of curiousity

Raden sat on his bed still feeling traumatized by the incident until someone come in. "Raden? You will be adopted so lets go meet your new family" the miss said in soft tone

Raden start standing and walking down the stairs through the hallway towards the registration room and meet Yanto, he look up at him in curious.

Yanto approached and bowed to give a friendly smile, "im Yanto...nice to meet you, Raden". There Raden felt something new...Family

Arriving at the new house, Raden looked around curiously, Yanto notice that, "are you hungry?" He ask, Raden looked at him then nodded.

Yanto went to the kitchen and started cooking something while Raden followed and watched from afar what Yanto was doing. After a few minutes, Yanto put down a plate of special fried rice on the table "come here sit and eat"

Raden move forward slowly and look at the food on the plate then sit down and try a bite, he love it and started eating with gusto. "Glad you like it..." Yanto said in gantle smile then sit front of Raden

While Raden was eating, Yanto was still disturbed by his thoughts about the registration earlier. In the document, Raden was the only survivor of the terrorist bombing at that time, In the investigation, some of the terrorists were killed by Raden with a handgun he stole from Terrorist. He knew it must have been a traumatic experience, having to lose the family that had cared for him since birth and trying to survive.

A year has passed

Now Raden has started to become very close to Yanto as a best father, this is the day when Raden will be invited to the military headquarters Batalyon where Yanto is on duty

until there, "hey Yanto, how your holiday?" lieutenant Karram said shake hands with Yanto

"A peaceful day and meet my new son" Yanto said as he introduce Raden to Karram

Karram look down at Raden in curious "oh have a son?? You married?? Since when?? You married a widow or something? Steal this kid from somewhere else?" He said in joking tone

Yanto just slap his shoulder and sighed ," no way im married...i adopt him, his name is Raden"

Karram look closer to Raden and see Raden looks very calm, "hmm...hes so calm, i like this kid" he said in cheer tone

Yanto get closer to Karram and said, "He was a the only survivor of the orphanage bombing that day, don't joke too much" he said in worried

Karram felt sorry after hearing that, remember that Incident and news then nodded, he went back to his relaxed , "come on kid, you like snack right? I have some snack that you can try" he offer hope Raden will love it

Raden feel happy and nod, "take care of him for a moment, ill be right back after put my stuff" he said then look back at Raden "ill be right back, be good kid" he said in soft tone patting Raden head then walk away

Raden walked following Karram while looking at the military base, there were lots of soldiers practicing until he stopped and focused on looking at the soldiers who were practicing shooting.

Karram see that and approach Raden to see what make him interested, "oh you wanna see that shooting training? Lets go" karram said invite Raden to the shooting training area

The loud sound of gunshots reminded him of the incident, but he tried to stay calm and forget about it. Karram looking at him "you wanna try shooting kid?" Ask Karram and Raden nodded

"Alright lets go" invite Karram to the armory, "here we are! Many weapons right? Is there something you like kid?" Ask Karram in curious

Raden looked around until his eyes fell on the Sniper AWP displayed on the shelf, Karram take the AWP "this one? You have a good taste in sniper kid, you sure you wanna try?" He ask

Raden nodded and Karram reload the ammo and give to Raden, Raden holding it feels quite heavy. "Heavy huh? muscle training kiddo, you can lift this sniper easily. Now lets go shooting" Karram said while invite Raden back to Shooting training

Karram helps in proper positioning for shooting, "there you go kid, now try take an aim and shoot that target". Raden start aiming from scope trying to balance, he took a breath and shot but the pressure made Raden get pushed and fall

Karram immediately helped him stand up, "you alright kid? You hurt?" he ask in worried. Raden didn't cry and was just shocked at the pressure, heavier than when using a handgun, "can i try again?" Raden ask

Karram feel confused and see something interesting about Raden and let him try again but lying face down to make it easier. Raden in position then aims again, take a deep breath and shoot

Karram shocked and his technique and helped Raden stand up "woah! Thats cool kid! You did it!" He said in cheers tone pat Raden head roughly until Yanto come in confused "what the hell you doin to my son?" He ask

Karram just chuckles "your kid have good technique to be sniper, be proud Yanto, hes cool" he said while looking at Raden still holding the AWP. "He just..10..i told you to not get too far" he said full of worry if something happened to Raden

But Karram just sighed and said "you see that target?" He said point at target which has a scar in the middle "he shoot in perfect aim, you cant blame me cause Raden interested and he likes this sniper" he said with pride

Before Yanto said anythinh, "im sorry dad...i just want to try ..." Raden said feel guilty. Yanto thinking hard then sigh pat Raden head and said "its okay son, you seems like this one yah? Sure then you can do that but keep be carefull okay, and Karram" he said before look at Karram, "I hope you understand that you shouldn't just let a child hold a gun" he said in annoyed

Karram just chuckles and said "eyy calm down Yanto, he like it afterall and got that skill, you should be proud to your son" . Yanto just sigh in annoyed then Raden said "can i keep this gun?" He ask hope he can keep it

Yanto look in disbelief dont know how to answer this while Karram just laughed "haha! Just let him keep this sniper, what something bad about it? Maybe one day he can become sniper" he said in enthusiastic

Yanto dont know how to refuse this and said he allow it but release the ammo, Raden feel so happy about that while Yanto thinking while seeing the target that Raden shoot really perfect in middle and feel proud that his son is skilled

Yanto "and thats how he got his first sniper..." He said in nostalgic

John thinking and look in disbelief about that, "in 10 really? So thats your son?? Feel weird that you allow him" he said a little confused

"What can i do? He like it so just let him be, that just sniper without ammo" Yanto said while looking at the photo, "he so happy with that...He's a good kid...everyone on that base likes him..." He said in low tone "he sometimes always steal the ammo and sneaky to shoot training cause he like it and i scold him...There was a time when he didn't know about silencers and practiced at night, making us shocked and thinking there was an attack...." He said laugh a bit

"What an ambitious child, huh?..." John said , "yah...he said he wanna be soldier like me one day...He was mature enough for his age to turn the trauma into a training experience and lesson" Yanto said

"Hes a man..."
