The children of Wales became enraged by the travesty and decided to become powerful mages to get revenge. Now we follow the tale of one of the children and the legacy he leaves.

*Elsewhere*

“Ugh…” A young man groans. His dark red eyes scan the large amount of people rushing to their next class. He couldn’t believe he was in a school, the amount of people in the swarm was easily around three thousand.

He looked over to his side and watched his sister for a moment. She looked excited as if  she was energized by the tsunami of people frantically running to their next class. Her bright red and white hair shimmered in the sun seeming expressing the energy inside her.

“I swear if you leave me here alone, I am not giving you money for lunch.” He stated while shifting feet. He knew they were going late for work but he honestly hates running. That’s why they are walking a slow pace.

“Oh, come on, Negi! You are so slow! It’s going to take us hours to get to Konoe-san.” The young woman whined. Her point was valid as it would have taken them an hour to arrive at work considering they were in the middle of the school.

He sighed. “Fine. Just a bit of wind magic.” He muttered a few phases under his breath then gave her a signal. She smirked then disappeared over the horizon leaving him behind. He shook his head and continued down the road at the same slow walk, not even thinking about making his sister wait for him.

*Ten Minutes later*

Negi found himself passing an interesting situation. There were two girls and one was supposed to read the others future in romance however she didn’t want to say that she was not going to be with the one she wanted to be with thus she came up with random and ridiculous conditions. Her friend however is didn’t notice and proceeded to make a fool of herself.

He debated he options. He could leave them be but let her continue to look like a fool or he could tell her the truth. He pondered on the thought for a moment before finally appearing behind the girl.

“Excuse me, but your fortune truly is ‘Your love is unrequited.”

The girl froze then turned to him with anger burning in her eyes. “Who are you to say that, huh?!”

He gave a small bow then shifted a bit away from her. “My name is Springfield Negi. I am going to be a teacher in this academy and I realized it would be bad to let a false prediction continue like this.”

She began shaking with rage. Her fist was balled and ready to fly until her friend said, “Ah. I’m glad you told her. I didn’t want to hurt her feelings and tell her Takahata-sensei don’t like her.”

The brunette had an innocent face and gave him a small smile. “Where are you going Negi-sensei?” As she asked him the question her friend was staring bullets into her head. She seemed to have not notice though because her expression was relaxed.

The red head gave an awkward laugh. “I was supposed to meet Konoe-sama but I don’t know where he is.”

She giggled. “Grandpa is at the large building at the end of this road. You can’t miss it, it’s the only building in this sector with its own courtyard.”

He blinked. “Grandpa? You must be Konoe Konoka-san.”

She nodded. “Yes, I am and she,” She pointed at the orange hair beauty who was now silent and glaring at Negi. “is Asuna. Kagurazaka Asuna.”

He looked at Asuna finally noticing the blazing blue and green eyes glaring at him. “You have beautiful eyes.”

She flinches back. “Uh… Thanks creep.”

He shrugged then looked at his watch. “Well I have to go. It was pleasure talking to you Konoe-san and Asuna-kun. Bye.” He took off in a jog muttering phrases unknown to them.

Asuna swings her head towards Konoka and pinch her cheeks. “I don’t like that guy and you are not off the hook.”

*Five minutes later*

Negi finally reached Konoe’s door and gave it a gentle knock. He waited for a moment but was surprised when a pale hand came out a dragged him inside. He was thrown to the floor and was slapped twice by his sister.

“You took way to long! I already spoke to old man Konoe and ate a plate full of cookies by time you got here.” She huffed then turned her back towards him.

He stood slowly then gave her a hug. “I’m sorry. I was helping out Konoe-san’s granddaughter.” A hidden tension dissipated and a small unnoticeable quiver in her shoulders stopped. They stood there until she pushed him off.

She cracked a smile. “I thought we had a deal on mushy things, plus we don’t want to take more of Konoe’s time. I know we are late to class.”

Negi shrugged. “We actually are not late Sage. I lied about the time we were supposed to be here. We were actually caught in the early class rush.”

Sage stared at him for a moment then punched him in the face. “You woke me up at five in the morning for this?!”

He rubbed his nose, not fazed at the least. “If I didn’t we would have been late. You always sleep in.”

Konoemon laughed, “Hohoho! How nice it is to see twins getting along so well. I sure you will do well on your journey. Just remember this is a special class you will be taking care of. If you feel like you can’t handle it then you can decide to resign but you will never complete your quest. Understood?”

“Yes Konoe-sama.” They said in unison.

“Hohoho! Good! I’ll have Shizuna lead you to your classroom.”

Shizuna quickly came and led them to their class with a brief introduction. The curvy blue haired woman navigated the halls will practice ease, seemingly unaware of Sage teasing and Negi’s growing blush. She led them to a room with the sign ‘2-A’ above the door then gestured to the class.

Shizuna smiled, “Welcome to your class Negi-kun and Sage-kun. They are not the most disciplined class and are rather mischievous but they have a good heart.” She turned to the twins. “Please understand that only a strong will and a loving person can get through to them.”

Sage nodded, “I understand and I look forward to being their teacher. Also, before you leave I have a question to ask.” Shizuna blinked then nodded, eager to help another teacher. “Are you single?”

The older woman stared at the red head for a moment then said, “Yes. I am. Why?”

Sage grabbed her brother and thrusted him towards the somewhat stunned woman. “He is single too. I hope his age don’t discourage any potential romantic feelings you may feel for him. I actually think that you two would be a great couple.”

Negi flinched out of Sage’s arms. He couldn’t even will himself to look at his mischievous younger twin so he opened the class room door and nearly ran into the podium. His quick reactions enabled him to avoid the Narutaki twins prank without much thought. However, his sister who followed closely to him barely avoided the arrows and only became slightly wet.

The class of 2-A was silent. Other than Takahata, they haven’t seen anyone dodge the twins’ pranks without using a stick to set it off. The class then observed the duo before them with curiosity.

Negi’s appearance was a mild surprise to class as they never seen someone like him. His hair was the deepest red they ever seen and was messy like he just woke up. His red eyes and facial scars screamed danger yet the softness in his face gave a safe feeling as if he was going to protect them. His aura was calm despite his blushing, shy expression and his conflicting clothing style make it more confusing. He was wearing a black leather jacket, light blue shirt and black loose jeans; clothing that was usually a trademark of angry rebels or cool kids. He was tall, around 5’10 and had a lean figure that drew their eyes to his face and hips. Even more strange, he had a staff bound in cloth hanging from his back.

Meanwhile Sage’s was more together. Her brown eyes were narrowed and couldn’t stay at one place while she gave off an aura of chaos. Her hair was just as red and wild as her brother but she had baffling white tips to her hair that seemed natural. She wore a ripped shirt and tight black pants with combat boots that have been stained red at the sole. She looked like a rebel but with Negi it seemed like he was trying to copy her. It showed even more when the class realized they shared the same height, body type and facial features.

The twins stood there for a moment to allow the class to soak in who they were then began their announcement.

“I am Springfield Negi and this is my twin Springfield Sage.” Sage have a mock salute to the class but the cultural reference went over some of their heads. “We are your new teachers from this day forth. We may be young but we both have credentials in teaching English, Math, Science and any other subjects we will cover over the years. I promise to help you outside of class as well because I feel students and teachers should learn to trust another and it’s a teacher responsibility to protect their student. Today is a free day and you may ask us any questions should you feel should be asked. I will try to answer with the best of my abilities.” Negi gave them a bow then stepped away from the podium.

Shortly after he stepped away he was bomb rushed by Ku Fei. He barely processed the blonde in his arm while he heard her speaking in Chinese. “Husband! I thought I’ll never see you again!”

He froze then gently pried Ku off of him. He stared at her for a moment then remembered where he first saw those big green eyes. He exclaimed in Chinese, “Ku! I thought you have died or gotten lost! I visited your village a few years back but they said they haven’t seen you since I left seven years ago. How are you?”

She gave him a large smile and held his face. “I am fine, better even now that I have you. After you left I went to study with masters of martial arts. I have learned so much and I hope I have earned the piece of jade you gave me all those years ago.”

He kissed her forehead. “You never needed to earn that relic. You have bested many warriors of your tribe and the only reason I won was due to my special abilities.”

The two foreigners beamed at each other until a certain orange haired female broke them up.

“What the hell is going on here?!” Asuna screamed in Negi’s face.

Negi stared at her for a moment then blushed with a startled expression. “Ah… I forgotten I was in class. You see, I met Ku Fei almost seven years ago and I lived in her village. Sage and I was searching for our sister but were injured during our travels. While we were resting there I accidently preformed the rite for marriage and wedded her under the tribe’s laws. Of course, I took respectability but I had to leave. I told Ku to see the world then we left to continue our journey.”

He gestured to Sage. “We never forgot about her and more than a few times tried to find her but we were unsuccessful. We actually thought she had died due to my poor judgement back then.” He scratched his head. “We never would have thought she would have traveled to Japan though. Ah, I wish I have known.”

Asuna looked between the couple then exclaimed, “You two are married?! Is it even legal for a teacher to marry a student?!”

Most of the class signed, not surprised that Asuna only acknowledged a small part of his story. Kazumi took this small pause as a sign and jumped in the fray.

“Negi-sensei! Would you and Sage-sensei answer some questions that we all would like to know the answer to?”

Sage chuckled, “Sure why not.”

“Please repeat your names but this time your full names.” Kazumi pulled out a recorder from her back pocket.

“Ah. Sage Mira Springfield and Negi Mera Springfield.” They replied in union.

“I noticed your middle name is Japanese for future Sage.”

“Yes, it is. My sister named me the future.”

“How many siblings do you share?”

“We have…” The twins looked at each other and started counting fingers. Once they counted seven siblings they questioned the number then conformed between them they had seven siblings. “enough of siblings to count on two hands.”

Kazumi stared at them for a moment then asked, “How come you don’t know how many siblings you have?”

Sage scratched her cheek. “Well we are adopted of sorts. I mean we have our cousin, two best friends and many sisters all living in one place. However, we don’t see three of our sisters’ due to their work days and we see our friends as sisters too.”

Negi shrugs. “We stop counting how many sisters we had after the eldest, Kenya, adopted our fourth sister. Adopting with us is more like finding abandoned children and dragging them into our family.”

Kazumi nodded in respect. It’s honorable hearing about a family like them. “I understand. Another question is; are you single? I understand that this question does not apply to you Negi as you are married to Ku.”

Sage laughed. “I may be single but you speaking to a polygamist, girly. He doesn’t mind a few more ladies.”

Negi blushed. “Sage shut up! I only offered that option because Ku and I were super young. I only suggested that maybe we should see if there are anyone else we might like in the future then talk about our plan of action.”

Ku smiled at the twins. “Ku don’t mind if you date other women. Just keep me with you.”

The class and Negi just stood there, staring at Ku. It stayed that way until Zazie walked up to Negi and wrapped her arms around his. At first the male red head was confused but recognized her golden eyes and white hair. He relaxed somehow despite the stares.

“I am surprised so many people we know are in this class.” Sage commented. Her eyes flickering between Ku, Mana, Zazie, and Satomi.

“Ah! You how many do you know Sage-sensei?” Kazumi refused to let the statement roll by without interrogating.

Sage glanced at the budding reporter. “We know Ku for known reasons. This however is the fifth time we met Zazie. Typically, we talk to her sister or our younger sister visits their nation due to having roots there.  We know a lot about her though. The others…” She gave a quick unnoticeable glance to the aforementioned women. “probably don’t want to be associated with us or want to avoid the hassle that comes with us.”

Kazumi looked at Negi smiling at both Ku and Zazie then looked back at the young woman. “I see Negi have many potential suitors. Do you have any?”

The bi-colored hair girl stared at ceiling with her arms crossed. “No.”

The ponytailed girl nodded then turned off her tape. “I have good material to use. I’m sure this will in next week’s newspaper.”

Negi asked, “Did you record how old are we? If not, then we are 16 years old.”

She quickly scribbled their age onto her arm and thanked him. The small interaction interested Ku who was clinging to his left arm. She wondered how many women could Negi seduce as she noticed Kazumi brushed the hair out of her face; a trait she only does when she is charmed by someone. She would have studied more of the mannerisms the reporter was displaying but the bell rung.

The class collected their items and funneled out the room. Chisame was the first out the door, followed by Asuna and Satomi. Quickly the room was emptied and a few people stayed. Ku gave Negi a quick kiss and ran out the room. The mage was stunned but was further blown away when Zazie gave him a long kiss on lips. She gave him a warm stare then walked out the room with a pleasant aura.

Sage walked over to Negi and nudged him with her shoulder. She spoke in Latin, amused. “Talk about an eventful day huh? We saw a girl we thought was dead, a demon princess, an assassin, a demi-demon, a mage, a scientist and a ninja to say the least. Also, you lost your first kiss to someone who wasn’t me or Ku.”

His warm, red eyes turned a cold grey then replied in Latin. “This class is literally a group of offspring from powerful people in the magic world. Some of which don’t even know they are powerful. I feel this could end badly if someone decides to target this group.”

She shrugged, turning looking out the window to watch a few of her students’ hustle to their after school activity. “I feel a great disturbance is going to happen. We have to watch them closely.”

He slightly shifted his head to her direction, his back still facing the window and his eyes dangerously narrowing towards a certain section of the adjacent hallway. “I think there is a mole. Should we kill them?”

Sage shook her head. “Is it not useless? I truly believe that is Konoe’s way of protection. He may have ears everywhere but tolerates things that don’t harm Konoka and magic world.” Negi relaxes to that logic and his eyes transforms back to their bright shade of red.

He said in cheerful Japanese. “I understand Nee-chan.”

The mage sighed and sat down with the barrel of the gun at his temple. “You know I had nothing to do with what happened that day right?
