It felt kind of like waking up honestly and it was surprisingly comfortable, if I was an escapist I could almost believe it was just another ordinary day. Although an ordinary day would not consist of being surrounded by giant monsters... Thanks to Sense Presence I can roughly tell the shapes of the things around me in a 360 angle and I can say that I am extremely glad and thankful that Erase Presence was automatically turned on when I awoke.

Ah, I'm back in first person again; move body move!!! I've already eaten through most of his thigh and the disturbingly swinging thing is almost within touching range. With a shuffling action I felt that I'm beginning to move in the direction I desired as a ton of bodies entered my field of vision and jumped on the wounded giant. Are those raptors? The giant's screaming and the raptor's growls was heard along with the sound of tearing flesh and spraying blood. As I awkwardly made my way forward away from the scene of carnage I felt something warm inside of me, just as the body of one of the raptors slammed into a tree to my right.

So I get abilities based on what I eat? Slime's are surprisingly strong, or rather have a ridiculously high growth potential.
"Sli-Slime!" Eh? I was so focused on the windows I kept shuffling forward and I met my first humans in this world, at least I think they are humans from their outlines.
"Haerrou!!!" That didn't come out quite right, the voice synthesizer is hard to use.
"Is it speaking!?! We need to report this quickly to the guild master!" The three figures started quickly running away from me to the left, from the body shapes all three were male. But were they trying to report that they found such a weak monster?
This isn't good, I need to get out of here. In line with my thinking my slime body slid itself as quickly as it could across the ground to the right, away from where the humans ran towards. A lot of stuff was getting caught inside of me and dissolved almost instantly, maybe one of them will give me new skills.

Note* So what I'm currently planning with this story is to have short chapters that I can manage to put out close to if not every day of the week. The other chapters are going to be longer than this one as I'm treating this as a secondary intro chapter.
Also basically I'm going to be separating the "skills" he gets into three categories: Magic, Traits and Abilities.
Abilities will mostly not change being the stuff he starts off with (the cheats basically)
Magic is well, magic spells... not much to be expanded on that.
Traits are not spells and mostly non-magical and gained primarily from eating, they are things that would be natural to whatever it was obtained from. Say a snake's poison or a spider's ability to spins webs.
